That is such a wonderful thing to do for your Husband. It is great that he was willing to give it a go, I think you did a great job at making it fit with the pen and everything inside of it is simple, yet attracting.

I just bought two planners from Goodwill for a total of $5.00. I was so excited to find them.
I am just like your husband! I finally cracked yesterday from the sheer weight and amount of post it notes, half finished pads and notebooks and all kinds of scrap paper! This sort of organization doesn't come naturally to me but change is really necessary as I embark on starting an artistic biz... so... I just ordered myself a Filofax Domino A5 size (virtually 1/2 price on sale at Amazon! Whoot!). Just hearing how similar your hubby was to me in the intro was so encouraging. I know this vid is from well over a year ago... be interested to know how your hubby took to it and whether he still uses it. Thanks for taking the time to post something like this! Blessed be!

I'm a loyal Franklin Covey gal and don't know what I would do without mine. Kudos for helping him find a workable solution to help organize so many aspects of his busy life. And I could help but LOL when you were talking about his "ratchet" spiral notebook. Thanks for the unexpected giggles!

I too have a husband who is king of post-its. ..at last count he had 56 sticky notes on and around his desk (and that's not counting the ones he leaves around the house)! I bought him a Midori Traveler's Notebook two months ago and he really likes it and most importantly he's using it. He has a calendar insert in it and two extra notebooks for jotting down notes, ideas and reminders. Best of all I see less and less post-its laying around everyday...

What a coincidence. I'm in the process of decluttering and reorganizing my laundry/utilityroom. I'm about half way through but decided to take a break and come watch a Nikki video for motivation and inspiration; even if it wasn't related to my current project. See how much you help us Nikki?? :-)

This looks great Nikki :) Can you do a video on how you organise your Bible study? You have mentioned it a few times and I was wondering what you mean about preparing your notes.
My boyfriend also doesn't use planner, but he likes to write his TO-DO lists on blank white paper and then there are small white papers everywhere... :) His birthday is coming soon, maybe I'll set up something for him.. Thank you for sharing!

I had a similar one but it was smaller (A5 is the size here) and at the time it was great but now i need to write more things so i need to get a larger one so i have more space on the day calendar section. Love the colors and it was a great price =)

I like the set up planner...perfect color choiceI have planner issues myself, so now I'm creating my own by hand to fit my needs...I will go to office max asap to see what I can by to enhance my planner...
