The titan's role certainly isn't as the frontline/standoff unit that pillar/percy/spearhead/fatboy are, but on open maps it is an excellent "light cavalry" unit that can flank or circumvent enemy land units that are preoccupied with a kiting fatboy or otherwise dueling with percies. In the mid/late game, titans and even mongooses allow the option of tweaking a high/low mix of units to diversity strategies on the ground.
Im on board with bliss tbh, building a scathis at that point, with his eco is essentially committing to not being useful for the rest of the game if he hadnt died. Basically trolling
Im Bliss. I held off his opponent while he ecod and then he made a scathis after I told him we would lose. Even when he started the scathis it was with half his mass income so it would have been very slow. I had been doing everything I could to hold off more than just the 1800+ I was fighting and out ecoing him, but my eco advantage slowly disappeared as I tried to hold. It wasnt a case of "Im not playing because I dont like how your playing" but a case of "Ive been holding this for you the entire game and now your squandering it so I just cant care to play anymore." He missed my messages, as I pinged him that we die to exp while he slow builds the scathis on 350mass. 31:36 his opponent is pushing with a large percy and fatboy army. I had a large mass lead on yojih but its slowly evened out as I held off 2 people. I gave artifax about 15k mass to rush the mega he sent to me, that I couldnt spend myself while microing the 2v1 that I should have lost to in most cases. Im not trying to say anything bad about artifax, but his opponent was going to kill us before he really entered the game. The scathis is about 200k mass or less. While artifax slow builds a scathis over 10min, his opponent has 150k+ mass to send into me and kenny. Thats a LOT.
I appreciate you telling me your side of things. That makes a lot more sense why you did what you did now that I have a bigger picture on that situation. I thought it was a little early to go for scathis and a nuke at the same time as well. The nuke was fine but the scathis was another thing entirely like you have already pointed out. It could have been one of those things where he really wanted to build one and did not want to wait, but had he waited, he could have lived longer or at least had a lot more mass available to spend on units / defenses and tried to hold out longer. Or he could have used that mass on the nuke and spammed nukes and taken out a few bases before the other team could get SMDs online.
I LOVED the Halo series and thought Season 2 was even better than season 1. Had a much bigger production budget and it showed. That said I never played any of the Halo games really. That fight scene when Master Chief with no armor is tracking the cloaked unit in the city and then tackles him in the middle of the crowd and they start battling...wish they didn't cancel it.
I think they should have kept his helmet on more like they did in the games, similar to the first season of Mandalorian and focused a little bit more on the covenant leadership side of things, but Season 2 was trending in the right direction for sure.
Here is my theory on the meta shift towards heavy gunships over t3 bombers: I think there were ai and projectile changes to sams that make them target air to ground over asf. Building just a few sams and shields to protect your com and important infrastructure now has the effect of countering potential air snipes from t3 bombers.
Pretty sure strats have had sam priority for a long time if not since the game came out. Youd fly asf or scouts right infront of your strats so the sams would blow their loads once as the strats came into range.
The duelist. He is another youtuber who does a lot of science / maths videos about FAF units / structures and casts once in a while. Thank you for the complement. I do not like the sound of my voice, so I am glad you do.
Thanks!
Thank YOU so very much! I really appreciate it!
What a surprise 🎉
I am glad you enjoyed the surprise!

True. They are great for raiding like the Harbs and can offer a distraction while the main force goes after something else.

I would not go as far to say that was trolling for not knowing what he overall plan was but yes, too early. Should have focused on the nuke instead.
Love the combo , ❤
I am glad you did. We both had a lot of fun doing our videos.
You guys doing a road to a thousand together sounds like a chill good time. Absolutely should
It will probably be a road to a 1000 for me and for the duelist it will be lets get this noob whipped into shape.
@@StrategicLaunch awesome!
Bliss casually holding off 3 armies and 1 nano com at 16min without nano on his own com
He was doing a great job that match. I was surprised the other team did not push him a little harder.
you two kept the video quite interesting
Thank you. We appreciate that.

I use target priorities to make my AA target what I want. Works great.
I would not know one way or the other, so I cannot comment.
t3 arty op
It can be. But nukes could also be op sometimes as well.
don't the UEF have a T2 and T3 engineering station as well?
Yes and No. Its a drone station that can make engineering drones similar to the UEF Com drones.
alrighty whens the two man road to a thousand?
Its probably going to be more like he is going to crush me and teach me how to do better, so a road to a 1000 for me and training a noob for him.
fatboy needs a buff
I think more shields would be nice, or a cost reduction on units built on its back would be the 2 things I would change.
Please invite the top players to co cast as well
I will think about it for sure. My schedule is kind of crazy right now, so it might be a while.
who is with you there talking? i like your voice better
Bro is deaf and can't read
