@@SurreyEZ I would be curious in seeing a short video where you explain your logic behind that. What constitutes a 'good' starting card? In this scenario for example, the Supply Spec didn't look too bad to me except for the low HP total given that supply spec is a very good commander and the sledges and marksmen complement each other reasonably well. When given a bad hand what criteria do you use to decide which to pick?
@@imperialus1personally, I always consider certain conditions. I’m not rat, but with Ariel spec I usually don’t like to get Ariel units off start. By round 2-3 you can easily buy Ariel units that are extra powerful will you still have enough ground units based off your first turn
That is what separates the masters from the rest of us. I could play this game for years and probably never think to do that play at that moment. Brilliant

Hey Surrey, watched your videos and decided to play the game myself yesterday. 8 hours in (with some time in the training tool to test matchups) and I'm 14-0, now facing 100k+ opponents with my measly 20k and still winning. (1200mmr) Good job on the educational content, made picking up the game a breeze!
Really wish they nerve the deg beam ... 200 for 30% damage out, 30% more damage taken on enemies AND 40% speed reduction... It just destroys any aggressive play, speed play, etc. And the damage bonus. They need to remove some options like the damage / output reductions OR alter it away from a percentage modifier to a fixed (like reduce 6 speed ).
I’m a big fan of elite specialist, especially in F4A. It’s easier to switch with the computer when you can always sell and get level 2 units immediately
This game was truly wild, surprised they went wraith while already having stangs unlocked, could've just gotten some stangs+arc on the side to protect from the wasps/crawlers, and gotten more chaff not in front of wraith to force you to get more clear. Think if they have chaff clear advantage, phoenix kill wraith before marks kill phoenix.
I think elite spec is the best for doing the enhancement module + intensive training into selling strategy. I played a game where I went mass fortress and I was selling lvl 3-4 fortresses and replacing them with 2 lvl 2 for fang spamming. It went well (in 800 MMR xD). Saw your updated tier list, marksmen no longer garbage, huh? What's your opinion on carry Phoenix?
Well, it's better for the elite opponent since their lev1 stuff will always level to 2 since killing leveled units grants a lot more XP. So with intensive they will always get 2 levels for free Haven't quite decided on the tier list yet. Marksmen fit some situations very well. I don't like carry phoenix usually, too weak to Fort AA. If you can level them early and only have a couple high level ones they are really scary though
Every game starts with "holly molly, it's so bad" but it's so funny hearing that
what can i say, I am the unluckiest player

you know it's a banger when the first words are "holy moly its so bad"
I really liked the play on last turn to sell the crawlers and drag that side to your strong side with fangs.
it's a good trick!

nice, good job! It's a good game, worth picking up! There has been lots of new players in the past days!
I got the game a few days ago and I must say so far this has been my favorite youtube channel covering the game
Thanks for the kind words! It's a great game. Check out my website for unit guides if you haven't found it already: mechamonarch.com/unit/
@@SurreyEZ Ive already been using this website for basic unit counters, I had no idea it was yours! Big fan of the website as well.

I love the elite wasp open! Been trying that in my games and it works great!
Love your 1v1 content! I hope we will play together one day :)
Let's hope so ! Lots of new players coming to the game, some new faces will rise for sure to the top ranks !

think it's fine since he's air spec. Wraiths in general are very good against elite spec since they rely heavily on crawlers
