I won a third place in a tournament in a local club using wyrm rush back in like 2003-2004. There were only 10 participants and I only got my entry money back by winning that, but that was a fun experience anyway.

@@Karim-ik5ij Yes, my last match which won me that third place was against human who went tanks, but invested little in air defense. He destroyed my base, I destroyed his, I won just because he had no more means to fight wyrms and no money/peasants to build anything. :) I remember that whole club was watching that match as it was a spectacular sh**-show, and the guy was probably annoyed, but took that loss with dignity.

***Idea for strategy*** The purpose of the strat is defense. You try to out attrition your opponent with defensive hero's and units. Your hero starts as DK. Build a lich next and make sure you get frost armor. Third hero optional. For units, you want defense and the secret weapon, disease. You want your army to survive as long as possible to get the most bang for your buck out of disease. You build abominations, banshees (increase chance to miss on your units and magic protection), and crypt fields with web for aa. Can sprinkle some others in too if needed. You focus your upgrades on armor first, especially for the Aboms. You use your heroes to keep units alive by healing passives and actives, and increasing their defense with frost armor and magic shield. The goal is to be very difficult to kill while disease slowly eats your opponent away.
I forgot to add a few Obsidian Statues for the heals (duh)

I always played WC3 as an Orc, and big flyers like Frost Wyrms and Gryphons always seemed so intimidating and hard to deal with. It's a bit of a shock to see the Frost Wyrms from the Undead's perspective, and how they are utterly helpless vs. Dryads in the NE matchup.
Wyverns and bats baby. Or if you like to play "original" strats, mass berserkers with TC & Panda was kinda heavy-air resistant with the right support (Spirit Link,Healing Ward).
Warcraft 4 better have an AMAZING custom game creator
And for this to work, Blizzard needs to be independent from ActiVision and not have Bobby Kotick.
Your Videos are extremly fun next to this tryhard tacs where we only see Am Fs Dk Kotg and the standard units vs each othe in 1000+ games. Thx grub keep this sort of content going, it def turns more viewer on!

What I have always respected about Happy, is that he does not use OP units like Frost Wyrms, so that the opponent gets a chance to win.
4-5 Years ago the best 3on3 strat was 2 nelf 1 ud ultra feed fast wyrms and boi was it fast!

What's the equivalent of frostwyrm for the human race? Cause for the night elves it's the Jakiro one, right?
Gryphons would be the closest for Human. Human and Orc don't really have a giant flyer unit like Undead and Night Elf do.
Jakiro = Chimera yes, the night elf heavy air unit. Weakness is they can only attack ground
Human heavy air is the Gryphon Riders

Nah, he just had to a-move into Grubbys main and destroy everything. He had nothing back there and our man just idled at home the whole game. What a shame tbh. Would have loved seeing this against a stronger opponent...

thatas not even a frost wyrm rush. at no point did you even raid his base with frostwyrms except to maybe hit that tree for 1 second and lose a frostwyrm lol. but that guy seemed to have tons of units. he had double your pop at all times. he had plenty of archers to counter your goals, multiple heroes, and double the air units that you had.
i dont know how he managed to afford it all what with you being out of resources constantly.
My pro gamer goal is just to be able to defeat the easy AI 1 on 1 without using cheats.
so far, my progress is shakey at best. this game is hard.
