You talking about your sound quality, made me realise how good and easily audible yours is, compared to the other Bike channels I watch ! It don't matter how nice the Witch's character may be, if I don't feel comfortable being seen out with her, then the show is over..., and that's why I can't ever see myself riding a KTM, no matter how beautiful its character may be. They just can't make an attractive bike.
Ive ridden those roads many times over the years and the views and roads never fail to impress me,there's just as good roads and scenery all over Wales. Great vid and commentary 👍👍
I am taking my full license in february and have been looking at a 790 Duke for a time now as my first big bike. Seeing your video on it and LambChopRides video on this bike, it has convinced me. Great video and i am subbing. Merry Christmas.

Wales is perfect! One downside it's so bloody far away from where I live in Denmark. But once there, it's brilliant! And on a brilliant bike, I must say! Just bought one myself, since my sons girlfriend sells her 390 Duke, in favour of my white, old trusty 690 Duke. Stays in the family! Thanks!
Lovely weather! Not! I think you missed a trick there, with Mr Knox being on the ride. I'm shure that you would have been a better advert for Knox gear than the more 'rotund' Choppsey! Lol. The pod you are staying looks fabulous, in an amazing location. I'm looking forward to the off road fun. 👍.
Great video. I know you're more into big bore bikes, but having just bought the 2023 790adv, I'm hoping you'll say some nice things about it. In particular, you could say things like it beats the hell out of a Transalp or a Vstrom800 with all the extras, electronic throttle, 15K service intervals, steering dampener, 2 position seat, tubeless tires, cruise control and so much more which it's rivals don't have.
KTM really pushed the boat out, not only two test bikes but stunning accommodations also. I bet that jacuzzi would be lovely after a long day riding. Can’t wait for P.2

It's funny you said about this duke being better than the 105bhp version as I tried that a few years ago to replace my 390 but didn't buy one. Is this less powerful version really that different?
Maybe the upgraded suspension could be tweaked to be a bit softer, or lamb chop had the spring compressed for his weight. If its nature is to be firm that’s only good on new roads. Glad to hear the base model is fine as it is. I think the standard 890 was said to be very good as is too. I currently have the new 390 duke, very comfortable for a 6 footer at 220 lbs. got the 390 to try and budget friendly bike for the twisties in Marin county California. For 390 cc, it rides like a duke and punches above its weight class. But now I’m ready to get back to larger cc nakeds. I’m thinking the 765 rs because it’s a lot of bang for your buck. Or this 2024 790 duke, it will be a much better price point I’m sure with all the drama going on. Maybe close to half as much of the Triumph 765rs. I think the rs is worth trying to get versus the r. I think the 790 duke reliability is overblown and is not as bad as the UA-camrs scream about. Thanks for all the videos. Tell that 20 stone fatty its ladies first next time you choose bikes 😂.
at a driving shool i move with a sv650 and resume "60 ps" if learners throw away the clutch leaver ... no 80!!! ps i notice weeks later - sorry i can not follow all the nice words for "under 200ps" it "moves" yes , but ... riding should have the "little secret"

Ktm's are often set for a 85 + kg rider, so it would take som backing of the Comp to make it comfortable for you Kate..

Very interested in the 790 Duke and the 890R. Which one has updated suspension?
890R has the better suspension… but that model is on its way out making room for the 990

I get that their good bikes but i cant get past how ugly they are
Seams to be a lot of cam failures at around 16,000 miles which costs £3,000 to put right. KTM won't entertain claims out of 2 year warranty.
