i got the brushed for $175 shipped, threw in a Xerun 3656 sct motor, 10bl120 G2, Savox 1267sg black edition, and it is incredible on the track. Love the yellow. Still need some RPM arms, but havent had any breakges yet either
Great to see you giving this car more screen time, it really is am awesome bit of kit. i got one last year after watching one of your videos and absolutely love it! outperforms any slash or senton on track and is really durable, i've only broken the front bumper so far all a arms still good to go.
Whats up man!? Id like to see it and what u did. Id been running the pro4 chassis. Shes busted down right now. Went to order a nu front outdrive in and now its got bearings & new shoe’s waiting on me to get to it. ✌️ brotha.

I bought the brushless off a coworker. First electric truck, I absolutely love it. I did have to upgrade the steering servo. Other that been bullet proof.
Yes it’s epic! I got Mine when it first came out and raced a full season with it on a big out door track, sooo darn tough and still going strong today! Only parts I ever broke with insane abuse, was bumpers, rear shock, front a arm, and spur gears
Good review. Just quickly adding things up for the truck you're showing to put things in perspective. This is an $800+ version of the $250 TA SCT Pro-4. Starting Truck $250 Motor/ESC $265 (judging by the price, this is the 5mm shaft version) Shocks (F/R) $100 Tires (F/R) $90 Servo + horn $110 Battery $62 Overall it does look like a good platform.
Yes. The point of the review is that it is a worthy platform. You can do everything for much cheaper. For instance, you can go with the sidewinder for motor and speed control combo for about 130. You can get away with leaving the stock servo. The stock shocks are awesome and don’t really need to be changed. So basically, it’s a motior+ speed control and gladiator tires that are really essential. If you do that you’ll be way ahead of any other car platform for the money.
@@ParkflyersRC Being the nerd that I am, I have some questions. You mention this truck (custom build series) will out handle and perform anything from Traxxas and Armma. I don't know anything about Armma. If you were to put the same upgrades equivalent in a cheap Slash (motor/ESC, cdif, stab bars, tires, servo, ect.), would the TA SCT Pro-4 still out handle and perform it? If so, what it the difference? These RC vehicles boil down to two things: geometry and bolt-ons. Looking at this truck, I think a disadvantage it has over a Traxxas platform is no LCG center chassis option. Having a LCG is a huge advantage geometrically. Most comments I hear are these trucks feel better and perform better. But no one that I have found can actually pin point to why. Sorry, it's the nerd in me.

Hi Mark, First off, great informative video! Question if money is not a factor would it be better to go with the Tekno sct410 2.0 or the AE? The sct will only be used for racing.
It looked good still with your camera tweaks so great job! Can’t wait to see it with the new lighting it’s going to look even better, have a great day and keep up the good work as always!
Nice overview of the upgrades. I find it odd though that Team Associated doesn't make any shock springs, except the standard ones, for this car. Then again, it is a re-branded car.

Wonderful video 🎥 🎉
Great video ! So the centre diff is the same for both the brushed and the brushless version ?
Buying the cheaper brushed motor version and upgrading to BL is a great idea, since you still have to upgrade the stock BL if you are racing.
Great video! I just subscribed to your channel. 👍👍👍👍👍👍

@@ParkflyersRC Thank you. I currently have a couple Traxxas/Slash 3s platforms that I'm pretty happy with and toying with the idea of the TA SCT.

Hi Mark,
First off, great informative video!
Question if money is not a factor would it be better to go with the Tekno sct410 2.0 or the AE?
The sct will only be used for racing.
Tekno is best
You thinking building from starch from chassis is worth it ?? Or should I just buy this one and then do the upgrades
Much Cheaper to build off a kit.
Nice video Mark , did you use your new lighting set up to make this new video?
Not yet! Ran into a snag in setup. But camera settings were tweaked for better exposure. Hope you notice the small bump in the visuals.
It looked good still with your camera tweaks so great job! Can’t wait to see it with the new lighting it’s going to look even better, have a great day and keep up the good work as always!
What do you think of the Pro2 sc10, is it a good 2wd truck ?
Nice overview of the upgrades.

What is it a re-brand of?

Have you found a metal spur gear to go with it.
How much is the truck 🎉
I want to buy 1 but I'm in the Philippines.
Hell im still running my sc10 4x4 ft
Nice !!
I want to get into short course racing for cheap. Could this truck be competitive or should I get something else? If so, any recommendations?
This is a very solid option. Tekno is better but more expensive. We can build you anything. Call us. 732-539-8002
But it will not outperform a TEKNO SCT 2.0. Great rig, but it’s no TEKNO.
Customer doesn't want heat, so you leave a mile of wire between the esc and motor... ok..?
