    Good honest review with great footage - Well done!
    Try putting 4 "star washers" on the light mounting bracket - 1 between each of the 4 gaps then adjust the light to the correct angle and tighten the bracket fairly tight without cracking the plastic.

    They just shipped my green 73 S1, arriving next week. Good to know about the light, maybe a small bungee cord or bracket below the light to keep it upright. Will be doing the slime in the tires also, i'm in Texas & i have some desert property to do some scramblin'.

    • @exposetheheart
      @exposetheheart  3 роки тому

      I have just come to terms with the light lol. I have heard great things about Armor Dilloz instead of slime. I’ll probably be trying that out after my current bottle of slime runs out. You might wanna check that out too. Enjoy your new bike. You are going to love it.

      I doubt they will ever need to be tagged. Motorized bicycles have been around for decades and they are usually gas powered. They haven’t needed to be tagged so far. That’s the cool thing about these electric bikes, good clean (literally) fun.

    For the headlight I used 1/4 inch star washers. one outside star washer and flat washer on the nut side, then on the head side of the bolt I used (in order closest to the headlight bracket) 1 outside star washer, then the flat washer (that came with the bike) then an inside star washer. They are super cheap at home depot. If you're doing a lot of bumpy riding it will droop after a while, on road surfaces its rock solid. hope it helps. did for me! cheers!

    Really honest review , I have a Rose Ave which Is a slightly different bike it an S1 I also have a BPM import Chinese 20”fat folding 750w bafang 48v 16.5 Ah with 7 speed. I bought the BPM because waiting almost 8-9 months well I said fuck it summer was coming and if I didn’t like it when I got the super73 D sell the BPM I paid $1500 delivered from his web site but same on amazon and it took 6 days to get from Nevada.
    . Back to the Rose Ave got it loved it so much I changed the seat and the shocks and the kick stand since the new shocks won’t work with the old fork . It greatly improved the bike ,really I’m mean really .
    . A techs thing I noticed the hotter the rear hub motor gets the less power your gonna get I found stay off the throttle use peddle assist. Also use the voltage gauge on the comptroller my battery full is 54.3v so I don’t empty below 39-40v . I’m in miami no hills plenty of heat. I love 💗 the super 73 and ride it 75% of the time because it’s just bad ass.
    In honesty the Chinese bpm 20” folding with gears and pretty much same guts is a better ride and better performance,,,, but ......it don’t got the mojo looks stopping power of the super 73

    • @exposetheheart
      @exposetheheart  5 років тому +1

      Thomas Smith I have carried ice chests and pizzas. Picnic basket and blanket. Portable chairs and a milk crate full of various items. It’s pretty versatile. Only thing I would mention is that if you put a bunch of stuff on the rear rack it can be a small challenge to get on the bike. But that is the nature of most bikes except step throughs.

    • @exposetheheart
      @exposetheheart  4 роки тому

      das wolf don’t mind at all. Short answer is yes. Long answer is that in depends on your local laws. Usually you local city will have an ordinance specifically prohibiting them. If they do t you should be golden. Sometimes in certain areas of my city they prohibit motorized vehicles. When in those areas I just turn off the motor. But those areas are few and far between.

    These Taco style eBikes are an instant Old Man Conversation Starter.
    I can't chain my Camp Scrambler up anywhere without an older guy stopping dead in his tracks and asking me about 5 minutes worth of questions about it. I even had an old retired codger (and his less than thrilled wife) follow me with his Caddy and flag me down just to ask me WTF I was riding past the park. I got a trio of motor-swapped classic Honda CT70's I take my kids & friends trail riding with, has the same effect. Old guys pull you over, smile, and it's conversation time.
