Prince was a musical genius who could sing, dance, play many instruments, write and compose his own songs and even songs for other artists. You need to check out Purple Rain and his Super Bowl half time show 2007, he's doing magic with his guitar there.
Prince, singer, songwriter, actor, multi-instrumentalist known for his hits Purple Rain and Kiss. The absolute number 1 of the 80s a true universal genius. 🌺
Yes he can sing and dance and plays 26 instruments! Wrights all his songs and wrote songs for other people! I have been listening to Prince since he first started singing I was 14 years old and the song I first heard him sing was. I wanna be your lover and that was 1978! R.I.P 🎸💟☮️🎶🔥‼️
During the 80s and 90s, Prince was not only the best entertainer, he was also a star maker. He launched a lot of careers and made a lot of people famous.
@StephGardofficial now you've done it Steph! You're going down the Prince rabbit hole, and I'm telling you, you're gonna love it. Check out, It's Gonna Be a Beautiful Night, Purple Rain, Cream, 7, and Let's Go Crazy just to get you started
Prince is the man! “It’s Gonna Be A Beautiful Night” live vid is 🔥 Also, there is a longer version of Corvette on the album x 🎸 the ride is so smoooooth
Loved your reaction 💕. Do more Prince, he is totally worth it, go watch these videoclips: "The Beautiful Ones" or "Damn U" or "I Could Never Take The Place Of Your Man". Enjoy!
Prince was the greatest artist producer and musician in terms of overall high level talent of the entire rock and roll era. He may not have been THEE greatest at anything but he was ONE OF THEE GREATEST AT EVERYTHING! Whether you like him or not his talent was once in a million lifetimes. 💜💜💜♊️♊️♊️
"a pocket full of horses, trojan and some of them used" is reference to a pocket full of trojan condoms, some of them used, "But it was Saturday night I guess that makes it alright and you say what have I got to lose" lol Was one of the best guitar players in his time and a true showman performer.
Steph, of course, you have to check out the song Purple Rain, which is probably his biggest hit. Also, 1999, When Doves Cry, Kiss, Raspberry Beret, I Would Die 4 U, Let's Go Crazy, U Got The Look, How Come U Don't Call Me Anymore, Sign O' The Times. Just to name a few.
fala Steph! outro 🇧🇷 pros teus inscritos kkkk I would recommend you to watch Uptown, 1999 and Let's Get Crazy to see more of his fun side! For ballads and chill tracks, Purple Rain is a must, as well as Kiss and Dirty Mind. He was an absolute MONSTER of a guitar player, multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and producer. All of his 80s albums are legendary, and some of his albums from the 90s, 00s and 10s are also very cool, you'll never run short of amazing music to react to. thanks for listening to amazing music, kudos from São José dos Campos, SP! P.S.: where are you from? (city and state) I'm a fairly new sub 😅 but like your style!
review his when doves cry extended version video make sure its the extended version, also purple rain video, lets go crazy live video from syracuse new york amazing best live performance of that song also i wanna be your lover video
@monteilhjody4082 I agree except Purple Rain she should do the live performance in Syracuse instead or the one from the AMA’s in 1985, both are so much better than the video.
If you really like Prince, also check out these songs: Controversy, 1999, Lady Cab Driver, Let’s Go Crazy, When Doves Cry, Purple Rain, Erotic City, Raspberry Beret, Pop Life, Kiss, U Got The Look, I Could Never Take The Place Of Your Man, and Musicology. It’s a long list, but nowhere near as complete as it should be with this artist! He was truly a genius!
Popular: Purple Rain (Original Video), 1999, Raspberry Beret, Baby I'm A Star, When Doves Cry. His best work though is not the popular stuff: Question of U Live, Shhh, The Ride (Live) etc
This video is a cool introduction to Prince but I recommend you to check out the full album version of this song, it will blow your mind. Beware of early to mid 80's videos of Prince, they mostly contain the shortened versions of his songs (with the exception of "Aitomatic" due to its raunchy content) because MTV didn't broadcast videos longer than 3min30 (except MJ "Thriller"), so you wouldn't enjoy the song the way Prince intended to. It could be interesting to explore Prince's discography in chronological order, that's why my suggestions are "I'm yours", "Sexy Dancer" 12 inch version, "I wanna be your lover" and "Bambi".
Prince super fan here. I always love when someone discovers this genius. Songs to react to? Prince may have the largest music catalog of all time. But to get a sense of different eras, you might try... 1999, Purple Rain, Darling Nikki, The Most Beautiful Girl in the World, Insatiable. All are bangers.
Sweet! When you're ready for more from Prince also check out some of his old school tunes like "I Wanna Be Your Lover" and "Controversy". Also check out his performance of "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" at the George Harrison memorial concert. Fire!
@mikecaetano It wasn’t the George Harrison memorial concert. It was the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame. That night both Prince and George were inducted into it.
Ok, Steph. If you liked this video by Prince, then hold on to your chair and headphones. Next for you is Terrence Trent Darby and his song WISHING WELL. Followed up by the slower song SIGN YOUR NAME. As for Prince, you'll want to listen to the song 7. It is a rare beautiful gem that goes largely unnoticed. And the longer version if WHEN DOVES CRY. It has more dance moves than the short clip. Keep going and enjoy the music.
Highly recommend long form official videos-Cream, Sexy MF, When Doves Cry. 1999, Kiss. Call My Name. Any live performance, but especially Arsenio Hall with Patti LaBelle hosting, his Oprah Winfrey performance-Do Me Baby / If I was Your Girlfriend, his guitar solo My Guitar Gently Weeps and so much more.
This is a great song, and a great video, but not his best.I saw him live in a small theater in Louisville Kentucky about 6 months before he left this world.Just a phenomenal performance, and a great party for all of us that we’re lucky enough to attend.
Prince could play virtually any instrument. He was a master musician and singer, incredible on guitar and vocals, dancing etc. And yes he was way more talented than MJ
Steph, I thought you were going to need an ambulance when you started hitting your chair and then when you’re froze seeing him bounce the mic I’ve followed Prince since 84, too many hits to recommend. For your channel, I would start with 1. kiss.(put ambulance on standby) 2. purple rain (get the buckets for the tears ready) 3. When doves cry..4. Mountains (soothing). 5. Ballad of Dorothy Parker (sublime) 6. Hot thing (spicy mild) . 7. Erotic City (spicy medium) 8. Head (mother of all spices)
Pound for pound, you're right. Don't get me wrong: MJ was a fabulous singer, dancer, and occasional songwriter. Prince was all that, PLUS he was a more consistent songwriter AND an ace instrumentalist (pretty much all instruments; the only other guy in pop music who does that is Paul McCartney, but Prince was probably even better than Paul in that department). Both Michael and Prince were fantastic, though, and I miss them both. the days when they ruled pop and soul were some of the best days in modern music history.
Both immensely talented, but in very different ways, MJ, you can listen to in front of the family you can listen to with the cookout prince you have to listen to him in a room in the dark alone… He was our first favorite sex, Ed teacher, and we wouldn’t have it any other way
OK between this song, Lady cab driver (nsfw 😂😂)and international lover. This record should’ve been called “ trains planes and automobiles.” Like why is this band obsessed with modes of transportation? Parts of this record was so dirty I had to go to my Besty’s house all the way in Taylor Michigan to order it. That was a great summer .we miss prince like no other.
Let me explain…. Most young people never heard Prince’s music , because he was adult themed , or mature themed . Not curse words ( a few) but some sexual references. ( not as bad as some artists today). So many people didn’t play Prince around small children. Michael Jackson was g-rated , so people played his music around children all the time, and made sure they knew him. They probably figured kids would discover Prince when they grew up, and that is exactly what is happening…..
Prince was a musical genius who could sing, dance, play many instruments, write and compose his own songs and even songs for other artists.
You need to check out Purple Rain and his Super Bowl half time show 2007, he's doing magic with his guitar there.
One of the most talented human beings to have lived within modern memory. Also one of the most underrated guitarists. All respect and RIP.
Prince is possibly the most talented musician ever. Regardless of how highly regarded his legacy is it will never be high enough.
One of the sickest entertainers to ever grace this planet 🤘
Prince, singer, songwriter, actor, multi-instrumentalist known for his hits Purple Rain and Kiss.
The absolute number 1 of the 80s a true universal genius. 🌺
'When Doves Cry', 'Let's Go Crazy', and '1999' are his best work I think.
And 'Kiss' 😉
His best work is not even as popular 💜💜💜
Saw this tour before the movie came out. Pure fucking genius.
He did the Super Bowl. Incredible performance
I second this. 2007 Superbowl halftime show. best ever!
Raspberry Beret (official video) & Kiss (official video) 👍
That song's still so good to the ears. Prince's song "I Would Die For You" was phenomenal back in the 80s.
I'm a metal head and I love it he always kicks ass you do good job too keep rocking
If you didn't already know these songs I recommend you "Bambi" and "I'm yours". for late 70's tunes his shredding game were already top notch.
Oh you should hear his guitar playing
When doves cry The Extended Version
Yes he can sing and dance and plays 26 instruments! Wrights all his songs and wrote songs for other people! I have been listening to Prince since he first started singing I was 14 years old and the song I first heard him sing was. I wanna be your lover and that was 1978! R.I.P 🎸💟☮️🎶🔥‼️
Raspberry Beret is another big hit for Prince with a cute video I'm sure you'd enjoy. Keep on rockin
The ultimate entertainer. A great musicians.
I'm so glad you love this..he was awesome!
During the 80s and 90s, Prince was not only the best entertainer, he was also a star maker.

Prince is the man!

I miss the 80's. Great time to be a teenager. Check out "1999", "When Doves Cry", "l Wanna Be Your Lover", and "Raspberry Beret".
"Beautiful Ones" and "International Lover" are two of my favorite older Prince songs and so underrated as far as not having many reactions.
Loved your reaction 💕. Do more Prince, he is totally worth it, go watch these videoclips: "The Beautiful Ones" or "Damn U" or "I Could Never Take The Place Of Your Man". Enjoy!
Yes, as u saw his timing was always great, he could go away from the mic, dance ,move around and end at the mic on the exact beat needed
RIP Prince

There's a lot of great stuff by Prince. You might enjoy his cover of "Crimson and Clover" as well as the acoustic performance of "Cream".

Wow. Great reaction! I would for sure react to The Beautiful Ones from the purple rain soundtrack.

You can't beat the 80s. I miss it.
Oh my you are only scratching the surface. Welcome to the wonderful world that is Prince AKA The Purple Yoda.
Ok, Steph.
If you liked this video by Prince, then hold on to your chair and headphones.

Please react to love prince performances; as cool as the videos are, it pales comparison to his organic energy.
I loved your reaction!
You should react to the song "The Beautiful Ones", the video from the movie. That will make you see how special he was.
great reaction to a great song, may i suggest checking out "SIGN OF THE TIMES" (official video).😁
Steph, I thought you were going to need an ambulance when you started hitting your chair and then when you’re froze seeing him bounce the mic

Hi Steph, When will you make another Dimas Senopati reaction video? I am waiting 🤟❤
More talent than MJ
Pound for pound, you're right. Don't get me wrong: MJ was a fabulous singer, dancer, and occasional songwriter. Prince was all that, PLUS he was a more consistent songwriter AND an ace instrumentalist (pretty much all instruments; the only other guy in pop music who does that is Paul McCartney, but Prince was probably even better than Paul in that department). Both Michael and Prince were fantastic, though, and I miss them both. the days when they ruled pop and soul were some of the best days in modern music history.
Bigger skill set than MJ. No shade to M J. ❤
Both immensely talented, but in very different ways, MJ, you can listen to in front of the family you can listen to with the cookout prince you have to listen to him in a room in the dark alone… He was our first favorite sex, Ed teacher, and we wouldn’t have it any other way
Prince makes Michael Jackson look like he was nailed to the floor
U better watch ur mouth!! But yeah 😂

You've got to react to "Darling Nikki".

Kiss is one of his great masterpieces...please check it out.
OK between this song, Lady cab driver (nsfw 😂😂)and international lover. Parts of this record was so dirty I had to go to my Besty’s house all the way in Taylor Michigan to order it. That was a great summer .we miss prince like no other.
