Best live version of #41. Performed at Red Rocks 8.31.95. For some reason, it isnt on the Red Rocks CD.

Oh man. I always come back to this. For the last ten years I’ve always come back to this. Growing up a drummer in awe of Carter. Carter is pure mastery in this. With LeRoi’s spirit flowing on to this day through the music. Love

RIP indeed Leroi. And the way Carter hits those last two notes on the toms at the end is the musical equivalent to a pilot slowly stopping the plane at the gate after an epic flight. This is pure love.

my favorite version will prob always be the europe box set version at Brixton Academy, its like a decade after this but yeh lol, carter rocks the breakdown solo so hard on that, best drum or sax solo ive heard in my life both at the same time

This is close, but the BEST VERSION is live at the Mile High Music Festival. Just Tremendous. Then again the best RECORDED is live in Europe. Fantastic clarity.

I was at this show with friends I was visiting for a few days, & it was my first DMB show,.. 1st show at the famous Red Rocks! ....the day before I did a Sweet Mtn. bike ride in the area and ended it by riding thru the amphitheatre dropping down into it from the surrounding hills on my bike,....it was awesome...
They were SO good, this is one of my favorite songs from them, it was one of those memorable shows you never forget,...
I was so stoked to find this album came out a cpl. yrs later, so I could have a live recording of a show I was at .. a fairly rare occasion in my concert going life ;-)
It never gets old.
