    What sensual music! As if Mahler, Wagner, Strauss and Debussy would have sat together. And this recording is truly second to none.

    Schoenberg dans sa période tonale était sous la double influence de Wagner et de Brahms - que l'on peut retrouver ici. Il explore la tonalité jusqu'à ses limites, puis décide après bien des hésitations d'utiliser l'atonalité, qu'il structure ensuite par le sérialisme. Ici, nous sommes au début du processus et avons un poème symphonique très émouvant pour la formation de chambre 🥸

    One of my top 5 all-time greatest pieces of music! Great rendition, though I think Waldemar's and Tove's voices were slightly weak.

    Oh, my gosh! Arnold Schoenberg, the twelve-tone madman, actually composed beautiful music! Who would have guessed!
    Actually, after 20 minutes, it's not that beautiful. i can't listen to all two hours of this. Sorry.
