I own 2008 Les Paul Standard in desert burst finish. That guitar rocks big time amazing Burst Bucker pickups, amazing and comfortable neck, locking tuners, neutrik locking plug. Amazing guitar.
These are so underrated, I had one and sold it..I regret it,it's the one that got away.. I'll share the story just because.. I bought one of these in 2009 maybe early 2010,I had saved and was finally able to buy my first Gibson! I was over the moon excited.. I thought I'd share it on the Gibson board forum with my new Gibson family, and they tore me and my guitar apart! It was brutal! They said it would never sound like a vintage les paul, that it was modern garbage and then they started on me for being naive and thinking it was a "real" les paul..I was in tears, It got to the point where I hated that guitar and couldn't stand the sight of it,so I sold it and walked away from Gibson and the Gibson community and never looked back.. Looking back now I really miss that guitar, it was so amazing.. I'll never be able to get another one 😓 $2500 might as well be a million to me.. We live and learn.. Sorry for the story, but maybe it will help someone, who knows..
Lovely guitar. I have a 2010 (2008 spec) very light due to the chambered body. Gorgeous maple top. The case looks identical to mine so I would say it is correct for the guitar. The knobs are correct also. They did come with the pickguard in the case. For you to decide to fit if you wish to screw holes into that top.
Got an 80's LP Deluxe Pro - weighs in at 12 lb 8oz!! Tough on the shoulders, but has great sustain. Has anyone tried balsa as a tone wood? Aside from the soft outer wood, the core of a balsa tree is quite hard; but still light.
My Les Paul is from the following year. I will admit that one thing I dislike about it is how it feels like a brickyolk after holding it over my shoulder for a certain length of time or longer.
Lemmo, I truly appreciate your playing but, I've never heard you make so much noise before. At least you finished with something that is rightfully noisy. RIP EVH

I bought this exact guitar back in 08’ and they truly great guitars ! The asymmetrical neck is one of best out there .
I love my 2008 Les Paul!! Love the feel of the neck and the weight relief is great for my back!
Beautiful guitar Lemmo! Awesome set!
Been a long time since I rock and roll
These are light because Gibson chambered the standards during this time period. I have one, it’s great.
I have that exact model in Honey Burst. 7lbs. 12oz. That is the same style case mine came in. Bought in 2009. I love her.

I'm amazed at how effortlessly Michael bars the entire fretboard.
You must be just starting out on guitar. That, or you're using 5,000 gauge strings. Or you really, really need a truss rod adjustment.

Just starting out.
It's something that used to seem impossible to me. But it's super easy now after enough practice

🙏❤️🕊️
I'm 65 and only playing for two years.
Thank you for the encouragement.
@@lamontprospect9974 Yeah, no problem. Good luck with the practice.
Beautiful guitar great sounding all good from east KY
A lot of ummp in that whoo jen nice guitar nice sound good job ML
When does a secondhand guitar become a vintage classic? When Norm says so!
Nice vocals !
Well Done.
Mean streets should be in the rotation a lot more, sounded so on point.
Rockin’. Lemmo sell me a Teisco Del Ray!
Did you sell this one already? What was the asking price?
I have this guitar in Honey burst.
gorgeous top
👊😎
Song name pls?) 4:45????😢
Great playing as usual ! The neck pu seemed a bit muddy for my taste but the bridge pu sounded great. I am a big fan of LPs I own a few CS LPs.
That's a Velvet Revolver riff
Dirty little thing

No more Tele Tuesdays?
😘👍✌❤😎
Toca muito esse cabra, great Lemmo
Hi, how much do you charge to sleep in there. I would clean polish maintain guitars, wake up, go to a real job, do it all over again & again.
Amp made it sound tiny cheep
chambering makes it sound like that, these standards are lacking of umph, Lemmo makes anything sound gorgeous :)

There is such a thing as _too_ light of a weight.

Do an aluminum guitar
Guitar looks good, just doesn't sound good!
Every guitar he plays ends up with distortion, might as well play an epiphone, why do these demos always assume we want to play distorted guitar?
Thats complete nonsense, seen plenty of videos of clean guitar sounds on this channel.
@@ImZoS0 Not with Lemmo...
That guitar was designed by a jazz guitarist for jazz and pop music, so were the pickups.
@@timr2618 yes with lemmo, the jazzmaster video from 10 days ago has clean tones.
Okay cork sniffer...
Too much sustain for my liking. A bit muddy, the older Les Paul's have a much better tone.
