Summer has ended here in the North and I wanted to share with you what I've been up to since my last video. My first trip in the van, a magical week in the medieval time, a new family member and just lots of small projects here and there. I hope you will enjoy it! :)

I can relate so much ! When it says you can be happy in any place, because you only can be happy from within… I‘m like…no sorry. You can be unhappy everywhere, but the environment has a LOT to do with - at least MY inner world and feelings. 🌾
I know he doesn't much like being on camera, but it's always nice to see Johan. He has such a kind, calm energy. Happy Autumn , Jonna!

I've been watching you for a couple of years now. You've inspired me to get rid of my many distractions in life and get back into my hobby of astrophotography.
I live in the US, and there's not many places here to go that are like yours. My work is flexible so I can go just about anywhere. With that said, I'm moving to Alaska in a semi-secluded part of the state to get away and get with nature. Thank you.

Watching these videos always makes me tear up a little. Tears of joy and longing watching Jonna's beautiful spirit and beautiful life, both of which I so desperately want as well...
Keep in mind that the beautiful moments that Jonna highlights in these videos is not how her life is 24/7. She even discussed this once in a video. They run a business---and have the daily stresses and pressures that we all face...and they face other trying times as well. What Jonna does so beautifully--is to carve out special moments amid the stress of daily life, to allow relaxation, meditation, and creativity to restore balance in her life. These videos are the essence of her "special moments"---and she shows us how we can do it too!
Instead of wishing for someone else's life--get creative and find how you can bring similar moments of peace and beauty into your own life. There are all kinds of ways that you can do this. We don't have to live in Sweden...beauty is waiting, just down the road.

It's fascinating how long-time viewers of Jonna knew something was off between this beautiful couple this past summer. But whatever they went through, they kept it quiet and got through it with dignity. Even though social media gets criticism for portraying a perfect life, Jonna doesn't do that. She is very real. But she also has dignity and keeps a sacred bond sacred by not broadcasting everything to everyone. Thank you for such a wonderful example!! We need more of this old world dignity We could, of course, be wrong about these assumptions, but the lesson is still there :)

Well said. I voiced, a good bit, my concerns. We become emotionally involved when people open up their lives and inner beings to us and my attachment extended to Joran almost as much as Jonna. I agree, we have no right to know much at all, really, but his sudden absence was upsetting. It is so good to see them happy and enjoying life together. I hope they know love was behind my concerns.

I'm in a moment of my life where I'm struggling a lot understanding what i want, I've recently started to work and i hate it every single day, because this is just not the kind of life i want. I've watched your video and first of all I've missed your vlogs and thank you so much for sharing all this, your videos always calm me and make me realize how beautiful mother nature is, and then you always also make me realize how i feel out of place where i live, that i'd like another kind of life, like yours or in any case a life that i chose and i will work hard to get it! Deeply feel you. That was me not so long ago, but like you, a different life was calling and Jonna, amongst others, showed me it's possible. And so I made it happen, now live in the beautiful woods of Sweden, working two lovely online jobs of which one as an entrepreneur. I wish someone told me earlier on that this was possible for me. It is for you too! Hope this helps you take the steps in the direction of your wildest dreams ❤

If you wait to have the life you want it will always elude you. If you take the plunge regardless of how scary it is, things work out in unexpected ways. This is how it was for me. I spent years trying to figure out how to have a life closer to nature, waiting for all the puzzle pieces to fit together becoming more depressed and discouraged as the years went by. One day I just quit my job and moved to a rural town. It was scary but everything fell into place. It never looks like you think it will be and what seem like obstacles are in fact signposts pointing you in the right direction. Good luck!

sweden has been respecting the mother earth for many centuries. Sweden's respect towards earth can be now bluntly seen through its preserved natural beauty of earth which is now paying off to citizens. here i live in such a disturbed environment, which has left the sweden too behind in the race of development to allow us to feel the beauty of earth which earth attained after facing hardships through millions of year, transforming to its best, leaving no stone unturned. Humans have failed to realise the hardships our earth faced through many centuries and kept on finding mistakes in earth. Realisation is the now the only hope left to suppress the growth of crimes over the emotions of our mother earth which has left the earth crying in the hands of culprits. Lots of love from India.

Sweden has the same issues with development. Forests are coming down at an alarming rate.
I just love the blue gray color... the fog...the rain. The low lying clouds that look as though you could run through them and if you reached up high you could hold a little in the palm of your hand.
It makes me want to curl up in a dimly lit cozy cabin and enjoy the warmth while looking out the window until I fall asleep.
Your videos are a reminder of what's really important in life.
Whenever i tell my friends i feel more at ease and peaceful in winter, they look at me like i’m crazy. I feel like somebody understands for once😂💛🧡

I just love how in many scenic shots there is nothing “man made” in view. I like to think that ancient people like those from the Stone Age, way before even the Vikings, would’ve seen the same view as us in 2021. Something magical in that. A connection perhaps?

Oh my goodness! I feel that same way, and it's wonderful to know I'm not alone!!! For the last couple of years I've been working on that connection to our deep ancestors. I have almost a visceral reaction to places like these, without roads, power lines and houses. To feel it's almost possible to be seeing what they saw.
I've been foraging and grinding stone to make pigment for painting, as close to them as possible. I'm trying to build a connection with the First Artists; a kind of bridge between now and the deep past.
It's almost magical to me, seeing you comment some of my own feelings!
@@MsDcameron that’s so interesting what you’re doing with your artwork. I bet you have the same connected feeling when you’re looking at the night sky - a feeling that our ancestors viewed the same sky (minus all the satellites, of course!).

I've been trying to search out places and experiences that bring this connected feeling. It's hard to find.
It's time for me to go clean a house for a lady, but I'd very much like to have an actual conversation with you on your thoughts and feelings, ways you find that connection etc.
Maybe we can each discover something new in this area.

Jonna watching your videos has made me understand that we should be grateful/ thankful to so many things in life, The Sun, air, mountains, snow, ice, this beautiful nature, family, animals and so many things. This transition of weather from summer to winter is celebrated in INDIA as "Dusserah" festival. It is mainly celebrating the Feminine aspect of life. As these times in September arouses the Feminine energy in every creature. That may be the reason for u to feel like painting more during this season.

Main deity of worship in dusserah is goddess "Durga". Though some northern states(I'm frm south) celebrates Rama's victory over Ravana along with worshiping Durga(devi). But the hystorical and mythological fact is "Dusserah" was being celebrated even before Lord Rama's birth.
The story line for this festival goes like this " Goddess Durga killed a demon called Mahishasur(one wiith buffalo head) in 'Satya Yug'. That time period is well before Ramas period(Treta Yug')". Okay! Whatever the time period it may be the thing is......
That buffalo headed guy represents ignorance in everyone, where Durga represents that devine fire we all have inside. When Durga arises within, ignorance get killed and the real truth will be realised. 🙏🙏
