- Hi sweet friends!
So this video is about this last week, in the beginning of winter, with all the things going on right now. I show you how far we’ve come with the renovations in the silver smithy, and I show you some ice prints and new ice jewelry that we’ve been working on lately.
I also take the first ice bath this winter, and answer some questions in the warmth of the fire afterwards. And of course, lots of more!
I hope you will enjoy this video!
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR WATCHING ♥

"There is nothing better then feeling the contrasts in life" this is so true
Understanding this helped me a lot with my life. I realized that I need to have bad days in order to really feel the good days.
THAT comment is so good, soo true, true indeed :)
Yes ♥️
Right! Kristina where do you live?
you forgot "and to share it with the whole world" ...... who doesnt give a shit about it
So touched when you say "it's almost like a religous experience to see the sun", I live in Canada, sunlight is very precious to us also.
Wang Lily I’m in Canada too....getting dark by 4pm 🇨🇦
Wang Lily , Sunlight is also precious in northern Vermont on the border of Canada.
Same here in Alaska
Mike Morales weather UA-cam shows why no sun for humans much
Same here in Québec, almost every day when I walk after school to get to my appartement its dark😅🌌 I can’t wait for the winter holidays so that i can finally spend time outside when it’s sunny with my family☀️❄️
can we now say that she's the "QUEEN IN THE NORTH"

SWEET NECTAR OF LIFE!? SHES KILLING HERSELF!
@@sitges73 So athletes that do ice baths regularly are 'killing themselves'? It's actually proven to be good for a healthy person, - I assume that's what you're talking about. Look it up.
@@sitges73 , she’s just enjoying life bro
@@Kazza_8240 guys I’m just being sarcastic-
This girl is literally the goddess of nature.
Knockoff James Charles goddess is a good description .....
There is no other God than jesus christ. The father and son and holy spirit are God
@@speakofhisgrace I wasnt speaking about god or jesus. I believe their is a nature god, goddess, earth god, goddess. Etc.
@@speakofhisgrace if you think so, okay. But could you stop telling it others. No one will brlieve what you say just cause you said it. I'm pagan, but I won't try to convince people that my Gods are real and they should believe in them. So please, just stop.
@@LarryTaint-qn8pd Well I'm an Atheist so... what nonsense? My disbelief in gods? I don't really understand why I should preach my personal disbelief in gods. Then again I don't have to. According to recent study there are two countries where Atheists don't face any discrimination. New Zealand and Finland. I'm Finnish. I go to local Christian café and we talk about Christianity and spirituality with mutual respect. Saying you are an Atheist don't raise any more eyebrows here than saying you like rock-music. In countries like for example USA where Atheists face discrmination, I understand if people are on the edge. However Atheist's are not against religions, we just don't have faith (a=without, theism=belief) Antitheists (anti = against) are against religions and those people are unfortunately put together with Atheists.
It makes me wanna cry when I watch her vlogs because she lives in the MOST QUIET PLACE and it feels so comforting. She can just walk around her Village alone, no apparent danger... and there's no one around. That's my whole dream right there. I'm just tired of the city and all its danger, noises, pollition, lack of nature... srsly, i cant even walk around my neighbourhood at night without being scared that something will happen to me. :(
Jonna did have a stalker a while ago and it was kind of scary for her and her husband but eventually the police took him into custody and I believe he was confined to a hospital for help.
The whole no danger part must be so freeing
I'm sorry you feel this way, buy and train with a firearm
Still, nature has it's threats.

Snow is very calming, it dulls sounds, and everything is quiet and still, I live in Scotland, and we get snow in the winter, but not every year, but I do love it when the world seems to stop under a blanket of snow. 💛

I agree with you
Oh nein! Das Leben kann zwar wirklich höllisch sein, aber eben auch der Himmel. ❤

here in Russia my November was heavy and dark too. I don't care about the cold, but not seeing the sun for weeks is the heaviest thing on my spirit. first days of December were such a blessing with all the snow and light and magic.
Darkness really teaches you to cherish the light.
I wiĺl say Amen to that for sure, I live in Iceland ☺
Same in north of Sweden, darkness in November and parts of December can be a heavy burden on the mind an soul, but when the snow comes and clear sky with all the light from the moon and the stars it's very uplifting for the same mind and soul, but you have to be out in the open and far from citylights to really feel the natures nightlight and when that moon and those stars makes the snowflakes when it's powdersnow looking like shining diamonds that glitters like nothing else found on the earth, that reflections and sparkles takes away all the weight in the soul, but one has to be a part of the nature by being out there, no camera can give that experience justice not even close to it .
And if there is possible to find some night active animals like foxes and owls to share the night with it becomes even more special experiences.
@@anderspersson7084 I just love your description of powdersnow, never had the name for it before and going to use it from now on. :) and I know exactly what you're talking about.
@@sigurlaugbjornsdottir9582 ah! You got such a precious piece of land and the most beautiful language in the world, please cherish it
I feel the same way! I can handle the cold pretty well, just give me SUNLIGHT with it! The darkness of winter is so heavy on me. I count the days till spring.
She’s so unbelievably otherworldly. Living as one with the earth just seems so amazing. She’s the type of person we need more of.
Ma Mo um, okay.
@@mamo8601 she's living on her own money... from the web... not from anybodie's social money...

Ma Mo why are you being so negative? Is someone not allowed to be happy without getting hate or discouragement?
Ma Mo we don’t know what’s happening behind the mask but her filming of the wilderness are to share her experiences with the world, and if you think about it she lives in the middle of nowhere so this is one of the few jobs that is convenient and she enjoys doing.
Ma Mo Is something wrong with you? If she wasn’t happy, she wouldn’t post about growth and document her journey. You’re proving you’re jealous by posting this nonsense.

I have an anxiety and depression disorder and sometimes when I’m feeling really sad or anxious, I watch your videos and it makes me feel better. I feel more peaceful seeing your beautiful world and how the simpler things like nature itself helps me with that.
Thank you for sharing your life. ❤️
Me too Coral, even if i dont leave my house in weeks, I cry tears of happiness for her. I wish you all the best and maybe one day we will have a similar life
Coral do you go for walks in nature where you live? It’s such a relaxing and essential thing for us to do to ground our energy and feed our souls. To put your hands in the dirt can help no end with anxiety and depression. I have had chronic depression for years. I have anti depressant medication to help but I find getting back to nature is just as important. I have tried stopping the medication but I just became too sad. The best of luck to you with yours. People do care. Don’t forget this!!!

@@jostewart554 , so agree, all who experience this, get out and get into nature, even a simple stroll, but do touch the plants, even hug a tree..and yes I mean that, just go up to 1 and put your arms around it, and softly hug it close, feel it's calming and invigorating energy. A sailing channel I watch just had their people do it, and they remarked how good it felt, and how strangely calming. Very high suicide rates but ok
@@c.arlynx Lol, no. Where are you from actually? The most suicides are in the big cities where people have no life
@@clutchii1393 Hi, I'm from The Netherlands but my sister in law is Finnish and she's from a small northern town (six hour drive from Helsinki) and there's a tree there near that town, that is used by many people to hang themselves, it's very sad. Also read online many times that in Finland the suicide rates are pretty high and my sister in law confirmed so yeah
@@clutchii1393 she said that it's because the winter time is very depressing. I lived in Finnish Lapland for a winter and I could totally relate to your words about seeing the sun again being almost a spiritual experience. I will never forget that feeling to hustle to get outside as soon as you can see the sun …

Its been only 3 days ago i found your channel and im stuck. You have exactly the life i wanted. And watching your video like watching a movie or documentary! I Can't believe you are doing all the shots by yourself! Fantastic job! Im hooked and a Fan. Thank you 💞
I got cold just watching you take an ice bath. :) I love the beauty of winter but I don't handle the cold well physically. I'm usually all bundled up whether outdoors or in. There is something wonderful, however, when there is a winter storm and my husband and I are snug in our house together. It's like living in a snow globe and everything narrows down to us and our little house because the storms reduce how much can be seen outside the windows, the sounds are muffled except for the wind, and there is just my husband, our cats, and I in the world for a while.
Your ice prints are absolutely stunning.
Beautifully Written Scene❄💖🌚~:)
Rachel....I can relate to everything you said....right down to the cats as well :)
You could handle the cold if your tried
Just wanted to say, I was recently introduced to your content and I wish I had seen your work sooner! I cried watching the first video I found of yours and I didn't even really know why, it wasn't tears of sadness, I believe it was tears of realisation. I struggle with anxiety and depression but your videos have inspired me. I know now that I need to change my lifestyle to what I have always wanted it to be (live in the countryside, simply, happily and healthily) I know it won't always be easy but to see what you have done with your life gives me hope and inspiration! So I just wanted to say thankyou so much! 😚 Fi

I absolutely love the 2 hour ice sound video. I was struggling to write, easily distracted and all that. But when I put on that ice sound video, I calmed down and managed to write around 6000 words that day. So I do that every time I write, because I can't write in silence. The silence is too loud if one can say that. :) So thank you so much for doing that ice sound video.

This november really was dark in Sweden. I was just telling my boyfriend how I thought that it felt like we only have had 6 hours of sun in november. And the way you described how you felt when you saw the sun again was exactly how I felt when I woke up one morning and the first snow had come, and along with it the sun also showed itself for the whole day. It was like the most beautiful thing I had seen in a long time and I felt so happy then.

You have such a gorgeous energy and soul Jonna. I have only just started watching your videos in the last couple of weeks but I love watching them - they are so beautiful.
I live in Alberta Canada and it is an amazingly beautiful day in winter when the wind stops, and the sun reflects off the snow. I think that I notice and appreciate the sun and warmth more in winter months than any other time of the year. I haven't bathed in freezing lake water but at the hot springs I will alternate from the hot cave to the cold "plunge" - so invigorating!
You're so right, when I was a child I was in the hospital for weeks and in a lot of pain everyday. I just had enough and stopped caring about anything.
