      It's all about that UA-cam watch time revenue, short videos don't produce revenue.

    • @_J.P._
      @_J.P._ 2 місяці тому

      @@mpa1931 below 10 minutes and your revenue is next to nothing. Over 10 minutes and you are in the green zone. Watch hours contribute to it as well as sub count. Last but not least is viewer retention meaning how long people actually keep watching. If many skip and/or leave soon you can have everything else in the upper half yet YT will pay you little again. The YT content creation rules are crazy and TBH I am still surprised that people can make any money off of UA-cam to actually bother doing videos.
      So if you do a "straight to the point" video that will be about 2-3 minutes long you can forget to ever get any money from YT :D I mean like literally never. Even if the video will have one day tons of views then it will be collected over the course of many years plus you won't have a steady production to keep up with YT rules of monetization. Simply because short videos are being skipped the same like long videos except when you have a short video then the skipping will hurt your statistics way more as if you had a redundand yet longer video. Crazy that if you think YT (and other platforms) want you to waste time and if you create opportunities to waste others time you get rewarded in the end. Ridiculous...

    Thanks for this tip brother. I have a Volvo S90 and it took no longer than 5 minutes to bring those exhaust tips to a brilliant chrome shine. Cost me 5 minutes and $3.00 for a bottle of that stuff which looks like it will last a lifetime. I've seen recommendations from detailers using steel wool, expensive chemicals, drills with sanders, etc. This worked for me; cheap and quick. Thanks again!

    I love Bar Keeper's Friend for a lot of tasks. It cleans burned stains out of Corning Ware cookware (cassarole pans) really well if you use them in a really hot oven and meat juices get burned on. By the way, TFLnow, I love your local hardware store! Hard to find a store like that nowadays. I so want to go right out to the garage right now and try this on my 2007 VW Jetta Fahrenheit's pipes. They're black as coal - never been cleaned in 12 years, so you shouldn't feel too badly about only three years! Thanks for this video! And very interesting input from your friend, the mechanic in this video, so I thank him too.

    Here’s what I’ve used on my ‘15 with great success. It’s called Mr.Metal. It’s a white cream very similar to what you used. The added benefit is that it has a protectant/wax in it that will help against further corrosion and help bead water, etc. I used a dot or two on an old microfiber towel and “floss” each tip. They always look better than new.

    I'm sorry but that's just wrong! We've had the TSI engines for almost 15 years here in Europe.
    The reason the exhaust gets so black is because it's a GDI engine. When it's in stratified mode (the S in TSI), it's supposed to be more efficient, but it actually emits more soot. This is why GDI engines are generally worse for air quality than regular port injected engines.
    Even the 1.2 TSI from VW had this. When they made it run stoichiometric, his problems were pretty much gone.
    Some GDI gas cars are considered to be as bad as diesel cars and some aren't allowed in emission zones in Europe even though much older MPI cars are!
    As of September 2018, all new GDI cars even need a particulate filter because of this. This is absolutely not from running rich…

    Pour a can of coke soda, then use a sponge to scrub it. Let it sit. Spray water. Repeat the steps...Work like a charm. 👍

    Why put tape over the bottle when you showed it clearly at checkout?
    Another quick tip, 0000 steel wool and some good metal polish like Zephyr or whichever you like. Comes clean in less than a minute.
