Fantastic video. Short, concise, straight to the point. I often refer back to these shorter videos the night before I ride, nice to have it fresh in the brain for race day. Keep em coming 👏🏻

Y’all should do a full track breakdown video. Going through the entire track layout and explaining tips and tactics.
One thing we forget to think about is when you hit the jump face it naturally wants to make you lean back because you're going up a Hill basically. So you have to Compensate for that by leaning forward head over the bars as you're driving up the face of the jump.
Good job Will, your wisdom and training advice is invaluable!
Love watching your videos, among others, and putting it to use at the track, and actually feeling the results of just those little nuggets. Thanks guys 👍🏼
Must have missed this video, but it's exactly what I needed 👍
Poor William!!😂😂 Getting called out in front of hundreds of thousands!
Great video something I struggle with constantly when learning new jumps, thanks for the vid!!
William is a bro!
As Always great and useable video! I struggled with this too until I watched all your videos all last year. Quick note, it’s Heels. Not being a DB, just saying that it goes along way
Damn that actually makes sense! I am not squeezing the bike hard enough, thx for the tips
Will, the legend, the people's champ, the Man! Miss my coach. He is great and fun to learn from!
Yessir!
Love the video
Thanks!
Love your vids
it would be nice to see a video explaining how to correct mid air unintended whips from cross rutting on a jump face! I don't see this anywhere.
So cool
Very good video and trick thank 🤩👍🙋♂️
Thank you!
Could you make a video on step ups
Hey guys, good content as usual, just been looking for a video on bike set up for tall riders. Can't find anything and wondered if you can do something.
I always hear grip with your knees...what if your knees are above the seat when you stand though ?
this is the only homework i like doing
When do I get to see the practice ?
My absolute biggest problem... it sucks!
Where are bew Friday fails episodes ?!!
they made a new channel for Friday fails called mx factory fails
On the way 🤫
Just watched a whole shot vid from 3 years ago is it true I launch in 2nd?
ok, big question here or "Mythbuster"; If you let off of the gas at the "TOP" of the jump will the Bike "Endo" off the lip or will it stay level? noticing all pros rip it to the jump and then let off at the top of the jump face or at the bottom of the face jump in order to not OJ. I have always Heard: that you have to keep the power on through the jump lip or the Bike will naturally nose dive (i get that engine brake will naturally cause it to go down but i get nervous to try it really). I heard for 2 strokes that you have to let off the throttle when hitting the jump lip or just that will happen.
don't know if it is just a myth or urban legend or straight BS but i had a pro say it will not Endo you over the bars if you let off right at the lip and it severely confused me. I know they scrub off the jump faces but they also let off the gas at almost every. I hope i am explaining my question clearly?
Thank you,
Severely Confused from GA
I wondered same thing but I think it has to do with the speed they carry leading up to jump. They are so fast that they have to scrub or roll off the throttle or they will over jump everything which is slow and dangerous. Its more of an advanced technique after you advance and master consistent throttle and body position. Gypsy tales has a video out with Ben Townley that explains it and everything else you need to know imho. These videos are great too!
I almost died today on a 90+ft jump. I endoed badly. I thought I was going to not make it. I leaned back as much as I could I swear I landed on a nose wheelie some how the back corrected it self. I barely made it. I’m trying to understand what I did wrong. I was hitting jump very well about 15 times maybe. I don’t understand if it’s the bike or me.
It kicked my back wheel hard
This happens automatically if the rider has a loose bar grip and loose arms. Regardless of how much power, since loose arms and grip force a rider to be balanced on the pegs. Yes. The posture presented is very important. It’s just also important to be balanced over the bike without thought.
Damn William

Guilty of hitting those freaking kickers all wrong. That and ruts from guys scrubbing those big ones
I was waiting to see the jumps - what happened to the video?
But if your always on the front how do you keep from nose diving? This is common for me
Blip the throttle to bring up the front
@@zackthompson7753 ok ty will give it a shot
@@michaelstrunk7820 while you're in the air. Throttle to bring up the front, rear brake to drop the front
