What some of you forget is if you let the music die with Phil it surely will. They sound great and to a new generation who may be discovering the music from long ago don't let it die regardless of who is covering it. Don't forget once you die there is no one to pass on the things that others once enjoyed. And let's face it good is good, plain and simple.
I really wish keyboard critics would think before whipping out their fingers of negativity and realize that the good time they had can also be enjoyed by another generation or those times too will die and pass with them.
    leave a legacy.

Some hack playing johnny cash songs under his name or buddy holly songs under his name isnt going to preserve or bring new audiences, lets just be honest, this doesnt sound like the boys are back in town, it sounds like shit, at least keep it how they wrote it.

People here talking shit like "thats not thin lizzy..." come on, dude! Of course its not the same thing, and everyone on stage thinks the same, but we should be glad to se some old friends of Phil doing his song! He's one of my bass heroes and man, how I wish he was alive to see all that crowd! What a blast!!

I know it's not the same without Phil. He was Thin Lizzy. However, I remember Scott saying that kids today weren't aware of Thin Lizzy or any of these great songs, and that he had to get out there and get them heard again. Defo can't fault him for that. Good you're keeping the flag flying, Scott. Keep up the good work, man!

I used to have a real down on name bands with new members, and tribute bands more so. I then realised, when people went off to say , The Royal Albert Hall to enjoy an evening recital of the works of Beethoven.....they were actually going to watch a tribute band. It's about keeping the music alive. People saying "no Phil, no Lizzy'' need to mature more.

I agree with " Paddy O'day, lmao" it's not Lizzy, if Phil/Gary are not there, it never can be without Phil/Gary to me, the PERFECT LINE UP, (did I mention before i met gary one drunken night in Sydenham? I wish it was at a Bar And Grill, but no, it was my mates flat, we got drunk, he filled me full of booze and we played in to the wee hours, him melodically, me I coulnd't find a tune in a bucket of tunes) no matter, but Scott is doing the best, thanks Scott for continuing the LEGEND that was THE Thin Lizzy, I'm continuing the "Paddy O'day" theme now, clearly fake, as is my legend coment, Thin Lizzy are LEGENDARY in Northern Ireland and in my HEART, I loved, Gary and Phill and Scott, dirty little guitar player that he is, I hope to see Black Star riders back in Northern Ireland soon. Scott's new band IS class, maybe he could make a song about Sydenham, Ballybeen or other places, Gary lived I only Know Gery's haunts, Gawd knows where Phil was in DDublin, extra effensive on the DUB.... ps big shout out to Midge Ure, the replacement, but a very fine arstist in his own right, tho I LOVE lizzy, i got more sticky fingers from Ultravox!!! you know what I mean...

Phil Lynott had to be one of the least egomaniacs in rock music ever. He's in a photo in the back with Steve Jones, Paul Cook(Sex Pistols) and Billy Idol (Gen X). A little while later he's in a hotel room with Billy and Dusty of ZZ Top. Forget about his incredible charisma, EVERYBODY loved him. Only Phil could make Gary Moore a sideman. Of course nobody could play as good as Gary but he took a backseat to Phil. Gary's finish to One Night in Dublin show dedicated to Phil shows how much better Gary was to all the great guitar players who went through Thin Lizzy. Gary is bending the notes at the end of a line like it is no effort. Which for him it was no effort.

But at least the past lineups with John Sykes and Darren Wharton had guys who had been in the band, played on the albums and had some credibility...this singer...bless his heart...is kind of like listening to a guy at karaoke.
