Balmung is ironically wholesome in most places, including even Limsa Lominsa, because the ERP is like 99% funneled into the Quicksands/that general area of Ul'dah. Usually when you do see ERP, it's or especially players or fresh alts who haven't figured that out yet.

S9 should allow mounts and have a hunting board/screen!
For the former, the place is so big and has wide streets that mounts wouldn't be out of place or bothersome.
The latter is because it makes no sense for there not to be a hunting board! As both in MSQ and in the hunt questline, hunting monsters is a very important job in Alexandria! Whethere for Beasts souls, protecting people and electrope machinery, or just monster materials. So it makes very little sense there not to be a hunting board+venders there.

The area designs of DT just felt a little underwhelming to me honestly. So much hype and build up in it, then all we get are large areas of mostly generic layouts. Not much in the way of filled-out level design.
