I imagine it has caught many a Jedi off-guard to suddenly have their enemy suddenly come flying at you ready to attack.

tbh,it makes sense. Unlike imperial ships,alot of the republic ships were built for war. Star destroyers and other stuff was built to be "threatening" .

Global Saturation I favor BD-1 as well. The lights on the back of his head are at times blue or green. I believe I've seen him with both colors previously - but I didn't come to the realization until now when I saw them shift from green to blue in a continuous pattern at one point in the progression. most likely a hp boost and damage buff for them and maybe some armor/extra armor
I predict this is exactly what's gonna happen. Nowadays devs are pretty lazy and corporate execs are afraid to do anything new or interesting so they stick to the easiest solutions.

@dragon1193 linktoad It doesn't make sense for the empire to use them as they discontinued them. The reason the rebels were using them cause they had already been republic era technology for the war to start off with, perfect example being X-wings, as they are based off of arc-170 star fighters and Y wings (both eras used y wings, but the rebels made a cheaper imitation version).

I want to see imperial jettroopers with rapid fire blasters, shadow troopers, death troopers, scout trooper snipers, evo troopers with electric guns, and stormcommandos in this game.
I also want to see Wookiees with wrist blades, rocket launchers, long rifles, and bowcasters in this game. Plus Rebel snipers, heavy troopers, and commandos on your team. Hopefully you get to take down a juggernaunt.

its hopefully set to a low difficulty just to show gameplay, but im with you, they should always be attacking

Respawn said it themself that they have set the stormtroopers to a low difficulty for this demo and also that the force bar will not regen automatically in the full game which it does in this demo so they don't ''run out'' of the force!

In the real world, yeah, helmets are designed to resist physical trauma. In Star Wars, Armor is designed to disperse energy across the entire body, as well as provide a vacuum seal.

This is one of those things that modern games should really grow out of. The graphics is constantly being improved and it looks more and more realistic as the years go by but developers keep using the same old tired gameplay mechanics and tropes that were trending 10 or 15 years ago. And it creates this weird situation that we have extremely realistic looking games that feel very unrealistic and videogamey.
Countless troopers get literally cut in two like darth Maul yet remaining whole is so distracting.

@@noobstalker1 Well, first of all, its not a guaranteed way to knock anyone unconscious. Don't know if you have ever smacked your head against anyone else's but even when hit with force it doesn't often cause for a loss of consciousness. Secondly, they are wearing HELMETS which protect their skulls which protect their jiggly brains. Smacking them together would do absolutely nothing except confuse the two troopers for half a second.
