I think Jeff is the first American to say Melbourne correctly.
I was also about to comment that but you beat me to it 😂
Yeah
Came to mention that. Go Jeff :)
Mel BORNE
yes that true m8te they useally say it as Mel-born
I'm Australian and this my first time hearing an American say Melbourne properly. Also Jeff another nice city in Australia is Brisbane.
I've flown the HBA-MEL route with Jetstar dozens of times of the past three years, and let me tell you, this is highly inaccurate!
Firstly, we need to be delayed by up to two hours.
Then we need to be put into a holding pattern to slow us down coming into MEL.
Then we need a set of stairs to be manually pushed up to the plane, before a one kilometre hike back to the exit. The terminal for Jetstar ain't fancy. Actually now I think about it, HBT might not even have tugs for pushback... but I might be getting confused with LST.
Seriously, lovely to see Melbourne, and thanks for the video. You virtually flew over my house on the Mornington Peninsula and looked out towards my girlfriend's place at the bottom of the Dandenongs (the mountain at your 2 o'clock).
And cheers for pronouncing Melbourne correctly.
Yes that sounds like a jetstar flight went Perth to Melbourne a while ago.
Also visited Mornington peninsula in 2018, a lot of rain when I was there.
lol, I was just about to post the same thing, the fact the aircraft wasn’t delayed or diverted due to a technical fault undermines the realism for me...just joking of course.
Every flight into Melbourne is perpetually delayed. It is what it is.
And maybe we can put the lack of delay in or out onto covid.
@@beyondbackwater4933 nice one, I live out on the Peninsula
Been there done that
Pronunciation 10/10 Jeff, never ever heard an Ameican say Melbourne correctly.
Or Brisbane.
Yeah mate .. it's Melbin. Straya
So true, it was so weird to hear him say the names correctly, hats off to you Jeff!
Omg he said Melbourne like an Aussie, I screamed man!!! 😂😂😂
A foreigner pronouncing Melbourne correctly??? IMPOSSIBLE
Ahhh, Jetstar, Australia's second worse Airline.
Which one is the worst?
Over here in New Zealand they are actually the worst!
@@finnmacdonald9542 Tigerair
@@PenisCupcakePoop Guess they're now the worst.... Tiger has gone bust
@@PenisCupcakePoop tiger air recently went bankrupt. gone for good
the dip is so annoying bro it ruins everything
I don't have the dipping Wing but i have no elevator under 160k Just fly like a rock
@@giacomo22101993 I have both
I hadnt been having any issues and then at 50ft right at the end of a 3+ hour flight it wing struck and crashed....I was so mad...Log book broken too and didnt record anything
So do Fortnite kids 😂
This means so much to me and the rest of my fellow Aussies
Cannot lie, whenever i fly in this game all the other jet planes (like the 787, 747 ect.) go crazy while flying but the A32NX addon works so well so thats why if i want to use an a a320 i always play MSFS
Hey Jeff, hope you are having a nice day! I am a member of the flybywire mod team.
To fix the issue during landing, you need to adjust your input sensitivity in the in-game sensitivity menu. I set mine at 10% hope it fixes it cheers mate!
I’ll give it a go thank you
Happy to see you pronounced Melbourne and Hobart properly.
Jeff, did ya see Phillip island? Just as you cross bass strait heading into Victoria. Motogp, world superbikes, v8 supercars all race there. Yes mate, it is better than Daytona. 🤣
Welp I'm staying up for another 30 minutes...
Gn,sleep well
Eyyyy finally a UA-camr doing a airline that feels like home currently down in Sydney down for a holiday and taking Jetstar back as well.
Thanks for sharing mate!!
Thanks Jeff for this video.
Loved all of your content but especially this one as you are flying to my hometown.
Keep up the good work! You are one of the reasons why I am getting into aviation.
Thank you for saying Melbin and not melborn! Every aussies pet peeve is when people pronounce Melbourne incorrectly
While the game is absolutely gorgeous, I wish they did a bit more with the aircraft lighting. The strobes seem super dim. I see the new 321’s a lot (I’m based in LGA), and they are so bright and crisp and pretty in real life. Great video Jeff!
Look forward to watching this one when I get home. Melbourne Australia represent 🇦🇺
Wow never expected this video. I live in Hobart and never thought I would see a big You-tuber like you fly out of here. Amazing video!
Thanks for the upload Jeff, I look forward to watching it soon.
Great flight. I picked up a tip or two. Slowly coming to terms with the A320.
I really like that Jetstar livery. 13:19
I just love your MSFS....keep them coming Jeff. Thanks so much...By any chance, would you have one arriving/departing Cleveland?...Just wondering...if not then thats ok
I know most of us consider Tasmania not Australia nice to know neither do Americans 😂😉
pretty sure every Australian has forgotten Tasmania on a map once in there life😂
Im from Australia and Tasmania is in Australia

CMON MAN!
I have flown Jetstar A320 from Hobart to Melbourne so this is cool to watch.
Excellent video. Enjoyed watching it!!!
great work jeff :)
Nice flying JF..... I recall having issue with engine speed control on approach and corrected the issue by disarming FD
Those pilot announcements are a nice touch
At 9:17, you can just see Cambridge Aerodrome in the bottom left corner, which is kinda unique because the approach path to some of the runways interferes with Hobart (YMHB) airspace
Lmao I’m watching from Melbourne and it’s 12:47pm 😂🤣😂
When I was little I went on this flight. Good video as always!
Jeff, if you're ever in Melbourne I'll buy you a beer. Great flight.
I'm glad I'm not the only one having issues with the a320. Thought I was going nuts!
Just found this channel today and I have lived it.
U make things every thing realistic and fun keep up the good work
Love Your American truck and flight simulators vids Keep it up.
Finally an airline I recognize
Omg I can’t believe you started in Hobart, I was thinking you were in Sydney but when you said Hobart I freaked out 😂
Thanks Jeff... I've been a subscriber since you were working on the cargo ramp in St. Louis.
Hey Jeff, love the videos and keep up the good work
You have to disable SEC2 when in finale (so it has no effect on your flight) to avoid the dip. Hopefully it will be fix soon
I love your videos my guy
Should do a fly through New Zealand next, would be cool to see you do a video in my country. Great vid again tho :D
Man, that's a big bummer that the last two patches haven't fixed much in these planes. Always a joy watching you fly though. Glad to hear you figured out your FPS problems also.
Weird but very cool to see you (virtually) flying out from an airport I fly over in real life several times a week! And a route + airline I’ve been a passenger on many times. I’ll have to give it a go in the sim myself at some point...
2:07 'Over to Australia' 🤣 ... Erm. ok
Great video Jeff.
Jeff nearly nailed saying Melbourne great job mate
Adelaide YPAD has a nice approach from the east. Short 1 hour hop from Melbourne to Adelaide.
Welldone Jeff. Nice to see an Australian regional airline getting some love. Jet Star is owned by parent company Queensland And Northern Territory Aerial Services (QANTAS). Jet Star operate from all major cities like Hobart, Australia and Melbourne Australia and often do overseas flights. Like I said Jeff love this video and I'm a proud Australian to see something Australian from my favorite American UA-camr looking forward to more awesome content from yo m8te:)
Jetstar is not a regional airline. It is a national carrier. Regionals include qantaslink, rex and virgin regional (when it existed) just to name a few
Hi Jeff,
I really really like your fly with me videos and have been watching your videos ever since you have made this fly with me videos. To me they are really fun to watch cause you fly to so many destinations around the world in some many planes and you are one of the reasons I have liked Aviation. So Jeff thank you for making this fly with me series I appreciate that you put it time and effort
--AviationChannelYT
Oh look at what we have here 😂
aw "way to touch a heart"
@@AviatorGamer Well...Well...Well Hi aviatior
I live in Melbourne now, pretty cool might have sold me on the game.
Earlier today I landed at jfk and had to go around and as I was putting the gear up it banked left but not during the landing. And the flybywire mod is just great, it makes the a320 a whole lot better.
The bug seems to be caused by disabling ATHR it increases the speed if you keep it enabled on landing the speed doesn't increase at all the speed stays the same. I notice the ATHR bug happens on Stock and A320 NX.
i know this flight really well as i live in Hobart and always jumping on a plane to Melbourne. not sure if you or your followers know but Tasmania is apart of Australia, just a seperate state hanging off the bottom of the mainland ( what Tasmanians call the rest of Australia ) hahaha
:) awesome video
The "sink rate" on landing is because you are exceeding a certain (rate of descent = feet per minute from the VIS)below a prescribed altitude.
I am not familiar with Airbus, but most airlines have a warning for sink rate greater than 1000fpm when operating below 1000feet above ground level.
This is a moving altitude usually beginning at 2500 above ground level (this is where the Radar Altimeter kicks in) with around a 3000fpm trigging the "sink rate" warning.
You need to fly a stable approach of no more than 1000fpm on that last 1000ft before landing, or else its considered a unstable approach and a Go-around would be executed.
Once again I don't fly Airbus so some things would be slightly different but that's the general idea.
Great video!
Oh wow can't believe a big youtuber is flying between Hobart and Melbourne. I live in Hobart and and it looks great in the simulator.
Jeff is the only UA-camrs that I am sub to
Heyoo Jeff, Idk if you noticed when flying using RexWeatherForce, on cruise (descent too, even about 7k-4k feet) you seem to be getting unrealistic temperature readings inside the aircraft, which causes icing; it's kind of annoying (pause at 14:56 and look at SAT and TAT) and I thought that I was the only one experiencing it, now I see you are too! Hope they fix it.
As always great video, keep up the awesome work and can't wait for more MSFS vids!
I'm a flight attendant for Jetstar and I absolutely loved this video! 🤩
I just got to the end and I just realised that Melbourne airports don't have aerobridges for domestic terminals 😅 but sometimes the international terminal is used, so I guess it's kinda accurate? 😁
Jetstar's terminal in particular doesnt have Jetways but still cool yes. Im flying with Jetstar to Cairns on 22 June Actually!
Sounds amazing👍
Nicely done Jeff. Should do one from Melbourne to Brisbane.
I love this plane and the livery simple but so great the orange brings out the sliver great video as always
Hey Jeff another good video as always 👍
Hey Jeff I’m am Aussie and Tasmania is part of Australia
Yeah i thought that was funny that Hobart was in Tasmania but Melbourne was in Australia :)
Let's pretend he went on with the meme that Tassie isn't apart of Australia
According to some Tasmanians it's not :P
I saw American tourist's wearing a shirt that said they were doing a tour of Australia, New Zealand and Tasmania.
Wheres, Issac Butterfield, he will short this debate out
Yessss a video where he doesn’t spend half of the video on the ground
Great vid Jeff
Jeff is a great pilot
hey jeff, thanks for flying at my home town. love the videos
Awesome stuff Jeff! Hey from Melbourne Australia
Great video Jeff!
Admire your enthusiasm JF. Always pleasurable and informative. My problem is that the shortages in FS2020 flight physics are slowly but surely degrading my motivation, despite all the eye candy. Sure hope the team will turn their attention to this vital aspect of this game.
Hey jeff I think you should try a 787 fight like your one from KSFO to KLAX in Xplane 11, actually that is the video that taught me when I had Xplane and now in MFS. Thanks man keep flying pls never stop this category.
Hey Jeff! I love your videos and I’ve watched them for a long time now, if your doing another Australian flight, I highly recommend a Brisbane to Perth flight as it’s about a 5 hour flight and you should have some great scenery of central Australia 😉
Hello from Hobart! Flown this flight many of times with Jetstar.
2:33 anyone notice the pushback truck's beacon clipping through?
Hood job for Melbourne, first person from another country to say it correctly i swear
Awesome video Jeff. Absolutely awesome to see you land in my home city. Also good to see you pronounce Melbourne correctly. However I must correct you on one thing. Tasmania is an Island state of Australia.
Also Jeff could we maybe get a Brisbane to Sydney it’s a beautiful flight and coming into Sydney over the harbour then down over the coast back into the airport one of the best flights I’ve been on
Nice Jetstar livery on the A320neo flight to Melbourne, Jeff.
Thank u jeff
Jeff something that potentially might interest you for this aircraft, there's a mod on the forum somewhere that adjusts the interior camera views so that you get a better view of the wing and not just a little bit of the engine...
As someone who lives in hobart I love this!
Dang. It even has the airbus Hydraulic bark. So much detail
You're flying at my local airport here in Australia and my favorite plane. this can't be true!
YAY! It’s Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020! Please make more of MSFS2020
I live in Hobart, looks pretty much the same.
Great video Jeff. It’s the day after Bathurst Day here in Australia and I know you like Motorsports. Did you manage to catch any of the Bathurst 1000?
Fun to watch while eating breakfast lol
Melbourne his my home town, left there about 26 years ago. Glad to hear you pronounce Melbourne correctly
Lets goo Australia for the win
love the difrint your flying form
you should do Jetstar Sydney airport to the Gold coast of something
I’m a ramp agent at FedEx Express Memphis World Hub at the airport and you are so accurate on explaining things I love it 😁😁
Looking to be an ATC one day
can you do a Air New Zealand A320 or A Boeing 787-9/8 From Auckland to Christchurch. But if you want can you do the same aircraft just its from Auckland to Sydney. thanks
You've got more patience than me, mate.
Jeff Favignano wins for pronouncing Melbourne correctly!
Bro, your thumbnail game is on another level.
Maybe that roll on landing is a glitch with the autothrottle or even the fuel selector?
