So i used your referral code and have started selling on What not, i listened to what you said in the videos and my first live was tonight, i was so nervous but i also have a youtube channel and play games on line with friend in discord so talking on camera was not that hard, it was Super easy running the show alone using my Iphone for the camera and microphone. and the computer to set the first live auction going. i sold 250 items in 6 hours and before fee's and shipping sold 1500.00 worth of Sports cards. IF i can do it anyone can. Thanks for the awesome videos.

The giveaway is exiting, but 5 minutes is way too long. I like to see a rather speedy selling format, and not all that chat. Most of us are here to buy, not to keep viewing what you have, or hearing “ would you like me to run this”. Sellers need to be organized, all set up, and ready to go when going live. So, have your trays ready , preferably all earrings in one, brooches in another, etc. so if a buyer asks for a certain item, you’re ready. Most can’t set there for hours, because we have other things to do. So keep it moving, or I will move on ( For jewelry shows )
I just sold 112 items in 3 hours my method is fast. I do the giveaway at the beginning for 5 minutes to set up my UA-cam and allow people to come in. The rest of the show is fast paced.
The example in this video is of me teaching others how to do it during a actual live show. My shows are much faster pace than this.

You will need to look at the whatnot rules. Whatnot sends you a label to ship so I would say you would need the product in hand.

Yes you can use just a phone but it is harder.

This how to video is very confusing, especially involving you tube..us new sellers don't need to see all that. Also don't you mute your computer when doing a show with cell and computer or laptop? Should we turn off ringer and sound notifications on our cell when doing a live??
Yes I mute my computer. Sorry the UA-cam is confusing just skip that part if you don’t use it. Others have asked how to do it so I included that.

I am having all sorts of trouble on what not, I scheduled a test live, whatnot would not let me open the show on my phone and laptop, and i did not see the tools to add an item in or the tools to actually run an auction im super confused. i do not know what im doing wrong.
I am not sure that sounds odd. I would contact customer support. I just click go live and it works.

When you put in quantity of the items during the show does it automatically go to #2? I usually preload each item. How do you grab and sell. I can’t find a good example of someone showing what the screen looks like..help Bolo! Lol!
I was doing a grab and sell in this video. If you do quantity yes it goes to the next number.
the problem is everyone talks about this stuff but nobody NOBODY talks about what items sell & what exactly you source. total gatekeeping is not cool
Regarding giveaways. Can buyers go into your shop and see your giveaways (like the tab we see as sellers when we are setting on up). I've loaded some for my next live and I've never done giveaways before lol.
Yes if you preload them I think they can see them.

Yes I was streaming and running a whatnot show. As i stated in the video the one area when I am screen recording it is choppy. My apologies. I tried to edit the best I could to show what I needed to show on the screen.

Yes I have sold items in marketplace. But I sell quite a bit of buy it now marketplace items during my live shows also.

This video wasn't as informative as I was hoping..you still don't show exactly how to set up with phone and desktop. Others have said make sure you mute your computer to avoid background noise and echo, is this true? I did this on a practice show but then I can't hear the wife talking anymore from her phone/camera...if I can't hear her, can the viewers still hear her? Is this normal?
I start from my phone as shown in video. I then go to my computer and go into the show. My computer is muted.
@BOLOBuddies OK thanks..so even if you can't hear yourself or your partner on the stream, how do we know the viewers can hear? Just ask them if you sound OK? Also do you need to turn off all your sound notifications and ringer on the phone before doing a show?
Yes you can ask the viewers and they can respond in the chat. I have the phone on silent.

I think there are a couple of options. Paypal is one of them.

I think I showed that in the video. I do smaller items so I choose flat rate shipping. I also have a video on whatnot for beginners shipping.

Create show. Then go into show and there is a add listings button. You assign it as an auction if you want to preload
