That’s me playing ball with Danny! He’s a baller. I can barely guard him, he’s quick. I didn’t know all the history of his skating
Was gonna say, he has a great jump shot and his drive to the rim with the reverse layup, you can tell Danny can ball.
He got crazy hop too and now you know why. 👍🏽👍🏽
U had a nice little move on him 😎👌
Dudes literally ...one of the best streeters to actually just watch push. Kick. And pop
Remember when I saw y'all? I was w that chick w the crazy ass dog? Lololol good times. You got flooded on the court ese
“Trying to be a person”
under rated accomplishment
word
Watching Danny made me want to go skate
So did u?
@@cousinjimmydean4233 back then hell yeah Im old now lol
@@tonytwyce9183 yeah i feel you man i cant skate neither i start huffin and puffin outta breath just thinking of how i used 2 skate all day without getting tired
@@tonytwyce9183 youth is such a beautiful thing i took for granted
@@cousinjimmydean4233 I knew some of the Coliseum guys Im from Boston I used to watch Pj Ladd do his thing n it was amazing Pj is my hero
Danny Garcia and Mark Appleyard are the reasons I started skating ... love you guys.
Me too. Mark Appleyard in ON Video. Nollie flip 5-0.
Mt Rushmore members for sure.
Man Mark's nollie game inspired me. And his bigspins I'm not even a fan of bigspins but he made them sick
They're both my favorite skater as well. Best all-around syles
"People need ladders, that shit don't go out of style" haha
this could've been hours long..love this guy
Nollie out crook still one of the gnarliest tricks ever done.
I was skating the quicksilver park once and Danny was filming a video there. The filmers were telling me to leave so Danny can have the park to himself and Danny told them no and to let me skate with him. Super cool dude
damn, his skating is so gnarly but he’s so calm
I was thinking the same
im actually glad this came out. i was always curious like what happened to him and his skating career. definitely one of my favorite skaters.
Remember watching him as a kid . He had a part wit James craig . 27 years of age now. Best style ! Still think he’s the shizznit
his old parts are very very rewatchable.
timeless
What a great way to start the morning. Glad to be from OC, CA.
Out there is by far my favorite series on thrasher although it involves the least amount of skate footage it also holds the most genuine understanding of skating and what skating does for the world
Glad to see he’s still skating!!
Hella cool! A modern day renaissance man!
yea I like his pal saying he never seen him skate.
This is the best content that thrasher puts out. Right up there with Jenkem and chrome ball incident. For us 40 years old guys. I sure remember his ad “Danny Garcia Did” (maybe for a truck company?) and now watching this, as a european I can’t understand why such a gifted, clever and well spoken guy could not go to college. I think America is wasting lots of talent. I actually like him even more now. Wish him all the best to him and to Sunset Ladder which is clearly run by good people.
When I was a teenager I used to see him at Chaffey pretty often. He was always cool to us and so cool to watch
His line at Chaffey in Photosynthesis is so good
cant help but respect this guy as a person and for his smooth style on the fours!
Love Danny's style laid back chill been a fan since photosynthesis
He’s pure magic
Up most respect for Danny Garcia. Always a huge fan, I met him at the LA Courthouse in 2018. He had no problem taking a photo with me & we talked for a minute before having the privilege of witnessing his skateboarding in person. A truely genuine human with undeniable talent. Thank you DGAR for being an inspiration & engaging with everyday people, you made a huge impact on me & I inspire to live as humbling as you do.
Such a rad individual!!
The basketball segment caught me off guard but was sick !
Right? I didn't see that one coming. Danny is a literally a baller. A damn good one, too.
and he’s actually pretty good too. you can tell by watching him shoot that he has good form and his handle looks ok as well. definitely didn’t expect that.
Made me what to hoop actually😄
Hands down one of the best skateboarders to do it .. I’ll always remember growing up watching dude skate .
Damn it's crazy to see this dude now! I remember watch his Mosaic part like 3 times before school, after school and when I got home from skating. This dude was way a head of his time fr!
Danny, please come back. Skating misses you. : /
I am such a big fan of Danny Garcia. His skateboarding is so distinct and god like style. He’s very few skateboarder that gives me that timeless memory. You are rare Danny. You don’t have to prove anything in skateboarding anymore, have fun. Thanks for doing this and thanks thrasher for shining light on this individual
I use to skate at Chaffey High School with Danny Garcia before he went pro. He learned tricks so quick
I wish I could of skated with him
His line at Chaffey in Photosynthesis is so good
Started as a basketball player then picked up the guitar now I’m gonna learn to skate which has always been a sport I wanted to pursue since a youth.
A Danny Garcia Habitat deck was my first skateboard. Forever an icon. Thank you
This is pretty nostalgic for me. My friends and I would skate Rio Vista everyday after after school for hours. We'd then grab Carl's JR down the street, then head home and play Halo 3. Simpler times...
I've always been a fan! Going back to 411, he was thee first guy in that era to kickflip back tail kick flip out. He did it perfect. Years later, I was at a Alien Workshop demo and a board came flying over my head. I went and picked up it up and Danny Garcia came to retrieve it after getting upset with a trick. This was in North Andover, MA at least 15+ years ago. It seems way more humble than I would have guessed. It's funny how you have a persona of someone to find it out it was wrong all those years. Great video and keep it up.
You’re the man Danny! If you never watched One Small Step go watch it now!
Yess I love danny garcia
On my top list of favorite skaters.
Always loved Dan!! I'm a musician skateboarder who has played ball his whole life. I have a lot more in common than I thought with him. Def enjoyed the video :)
The man can shoot from the perimeter.
the nollie crook is my favorite Nollie rail trick ever
amazing skater and great musician keep up :) !!!
Rio Vista legend, that’s where I learned how to skate and already knew about how D Garr used to live by there and skated there as well. Would always imagine if he pulled up one day what it would be like. Happy about this piece deserves the credit he is due!
These are great!
he's one of those guys that ur in love with his skating and ur waiting for a part. someday..some part something
Used to watch Inhabitants often before going to skate back in the day, and his part was the most favorite. One of the greatest skaters, best style and trick selection
Pleasing to watch
A little somber at times but such is life it's not always unicorns and rainbows. An incredibly human and relatable life story I really enjoyed this till the end.
Used to see Danny skating around CSUF all the time back in like 03-04'. Loved just sitting down and watching him do his thing. Glad he seems happy in his new endeavors .
Was just looking for any random new footage of him recently, so this is awesome!
Always a humble dude. Good to see him do stuff like this.
This dude is Epic. Best style, super grounded and humble. Wish there was more footage of him.
It brings me back to the Matix knitted sweater era... I like it
can't say it enough LOVE THIS GUY!!!
His nollie flip noseslides are as handsome as he is
GAAAAAY

This guy had some of the best steez all time.
Danny Garcia and Ray Barbee should collaborate on some music. That would be DOPE !
Danny is the men! love his Mosaic part!
The best!
Glad to see this! One of my favorites when growing up.
Beautiful Telecaster
He had a huge impact on me learning how to nollie high.
So gooooooood! One of my favorites.
Photosynthesis and mosaic were my first videos growing up Danny’s part in mosaic and clips in photo had a HUGE influence on me! Along with the other legends in those videos Ofcourse but Danny always stood out. Stoked on this out there segment for sure!
this guy is so chill i love this shit
Best concious video ever seen .
Just the small amount of skating that was here was worth it.fs shuv so good
Had his board some years back, didn’t know hi back then, now I can say it was an excellent choice of deck
Legend. And ladders, of course.
Need to do more of these it's cool seeing what o.g skaters are up to after they step away a little from the spotlight
Beautiful person. Amazing mind. So talented.
Very cool piece. He had a cool interview on the Bunt podcast.
And I’d definitely buy a ladder from that company. They have a crazy amount of inventory, I need a new a frame I wish they were closer
16 minutes is not enough! love DGar
That nollie gap crook is so gnarly
Always one of my favs.
He's a legend, love to see him skate ❤️
Seriously one of the most slept on skaters. I have been amazed by Danny ever since I saw him skate in like 2000 or something. Big dude doing big tech tricks with mad style. Feel like all the lakai homies didn't really show him the respect he deserved
I really really respect his honesty in the slap youtube interview. The world needs more of that.
before Dylan Rieder...Danny style has always been chilled vibes and humble coolness.. Danny , Heath are the O.G style lords! would watch a doco of him. thanks Thrasher!
He is just soo inspiring guy!
Danny Garcia, uma lenda que não pode ser esquecida.
His episode on Nine Club was really good too Danny is sick
That was so well done!!! Props to skateboarding and to to the filters and the vision of the director !!!
This dudes dope.
Definitely one of my favourite skaters, too much style!
He’s always been so rad. I remember skating his és shoe, super narrow and pointy toe. It was unique, like him and his skating.
My first Habitat board was a Danny Garcia board. Glad you still pushing.
Dude skates effortlessly but also lives effortlessly. He’s on a continuous slowmo.
rest in peace henry gartland
Such a rad dude , very humble.
One of my faves since high school 💯🌈🙏😎😃
Watching this made me want to get ready to go skate a parking garage, I’m in WA and it’s currently 10:13pm and it’s raining outside, I haven’t skated in a little over a month because I’ve lacked the drive, thank you Danny and thank you Thrasher for this piece of inspiration.
Talento. Estilo. Creatividad. All in one Pack.
videos like these always give me a perspective on pros you can only get by getting to know them. like seeing them both on and off the board, what things were like when they were at the top along with life after. its interesting
Whata great guy Danny is....
Such an amazing skater, you can truly tell he genuinely loves skateboarding.
How can you be that mellow and gnarly at the same time?
R.I.P Henry Gartland 😭
For real
Dangg that was horrible
2021 is fucking ruined
One of the best styles of all time.
Such good music
More danny Garcia !
Met Danny a few times while skateboarding at spots and at liberty board shop. Super cool dude. I still watch his video parts till this day even though I gave up skateboarding like 10 years ago. Glad I came across this video because I've always wondered what had happened to him. Yo Danny, hit me up. There's a bomb ass Mexican Mariscos spot across the street from your studio we should hit up
