Even watching him talk about all his projects and time management is stressing me out! Though It seems he is able to channel that anxiety into his creative output to great effect. Glad to see he is doing yoga and breathing exercises to manage that side of himself. Wish him luck and longevity in all his endeavours.

Really don’t stress “getting good” at making music because the journey there is the ocean of creativity. 20 years from now, you’ll cruise to this tune and realize how perfect it was all this time. The lost sessions are the most charming. Thanks for sharing your heart, history, and creativity with us. Very inspirational. We need more skateboarders to promote mental/physical wellness.

Despite all his success and the fact that his Dad was also a pro skater, Alex seems quite down to earth. I lived in Bali for a while and that breathing is v popular there. Good to see him doing well still, one of my fav parts in Fully Flared back in the day (my first time I saw him)

I got my first complete at Rip City too. Toy Machine Devil Cat with Grind Kings, Bones, and these cool green wheels. I loved the woody smell of skate shops.

I really relate here. Ive been writing rap lyrics, poems, since i was about 14, had ableton since i was 17, been making and sharing some tunes the past year. I really wish to channel all my energy into this. But i love skateboarding so much. I felt like I needed a break and i stopped a couple weeks ago and I really miss it. Don't know. Maybe I could do both passions and make it work. Or maybe I cant. One always take away from the other.
