Excited to see your journey! Top tip, try dead hangs from the bar to increase your grip strength, you can do 15-30 seconds at a time and build up from there to 45-60 seconds
I just wanted to say I love seeing new people getting into fitness in general and I'm here for your journey 🎉 I've been about 5 years into it myself and I've enjoyed myself and I hope you will too! Good luck 🔥
what helped me tremendously was really focusing on my back muscles in slow negative pull-ups/chin-ups, and inverted rows/Australian pull-ups, you should try a routine with them as well to aid in your pull-up if you haven't already :)
Hii, thank you so much for this! I’ve been doing slow negatives chin ups but I’ve never heard of inverted rows / Australian pull ups so thank you so much! I’ll look into these and incorporate them into my routine🙌🏽
Well, you definitely won't fail due to a lack of effort 😂 You really gave that set of chin ups everything you had, which is good to see. So many people set out to reach fitness goals but won't train to failure, and just give up before it gets difficult. If there's a climbing/bouldering gym near you, give it a try. It's a really good way to gain strength for pull-ups and L-sits/Front lever without feeling like you're training. It's just fun but requires a lot of strength.
Yess!! I’m determined to hold that L sit and get that chin up so definitely won’t be stopping any time soon💪🏽. And yess I’ve been seeing lots of videos of people in bouldering gyms and looks so fun so definitely want to try and look for one near me at some point 🙌🏽
Thank you so much! Yess me too! All the calisthenics videos I could find were all people that have been doing it for years and I couldn’t really find newbies like me so hopefully my channel can be a start to that. Good luck on your journey and I look forward to growing together, we got this💪🏽
Bro you will be able to do a chin up in about a month I would say. Your negatives are already looking pretty strong! I'm sure you already know this but if you do at least *something* multiple times a week, your body WILL adapt and at your age that will happen really quick
Thank you so much! I hope I’ll be able to do one in a month😅 that would be a dream. And yes I’m doing a few chin ups every single day for 100 days so hopefully by then I’ll have mastered it🙌🏽
@@paulinaroquett I believe you can do them on the dip bars, they’re australian pull ups with a different name you hold on the bar while having your feet on the floor and your body is tilted, to do a rep you pull to your chest, It’s hard to explain. (You can do them on rings too)
This is really empowering and motivating. To see another beginner documenting their progress journey. I'm a beginner as well so maybe I'll revisit your channel as we'll be doing this together. 💖
So happy to find someone who’s also learning to do a press handstand 🙌🏽❤️. I’m also working to hold my handstands too. At the moment I can only hold them for around 3 sometimes 6 seconds so still have a long way to go there. I think when I build more arm muscle from the chin-ups I’ll be able to hold them longer. Are you able to hold a handstand yet and if so do you have any tips?😊

Thank you so much for this! I will be incorporating this into my routine🙌🏽
It's so good to see a beginner just in a small hallway doing calisthenics. Shows you we all start somewhere and you don't need a lot of space at all
Yess I definitely aggree! You don’t need a gym membership or anything fancy to learn calisthenics. Just need motivation and dedication 🙌🏽💪🏽

You should get equipment for bodyweight rows and dips or levers
Yess!! I recently got bigger parallettes for L-sits and triceps dips. What are bodyweight rows tho?😅

Thank you so much🥰 Good luck on your journey too, you’ve got this and remember to stay consistent 💪🏽
Work out hard enough to become Ronicoleman! Fighting!😂😊
I'm not too sure who that is but I'll take that as a compliment so thank you😂
Refreshing!!!! Great video!!
Thank you!😊
I am also working on my standing press to handstand, as well as my pullups! Are you able to hold a handstand yet? Thank you for sharing your journey!

Try focusing on negative pull ups and bodyweight rows
Hii, thank you so much for the advice!! I’ve been working on negative pull ups/chin-ups but never heard of bodyweight rows. What are these?
is it for weight gain?
What do you film on?
keep up the work you will be able able to do handstand pushups before you even know it
I hope so 🙌🏽💪🏽
I've been doing karate for some years now and one of the requirements to rise in belt is to do 3 chin- or pull-ups, but I can only do a half 🫠
