Played this game on the original xbox and it scared me shitless. Granted I was very young. But I'm going to get this for the nostalgia!

Imo they try to hard to make it scary but it isn't.jump scare maybe hee.its still outstanding game though better then most modern fps.its bfg edition on xbox one x which im playing through now because i never completed it as a kid.its runs like silk and looks old but impressive for its age and a hd upgrade

Yeah this game is not the greatest, it's alright though. The horror aspects add some good tension in the game and I did enjoy how the guns didn't feel overly reliable but at the same time it's a bit too slow for my taste. That and it was clearly taking inspiration with Half Life 1 at the time so at times it felt like a worse version of that game. I don't regret playing this but I don't think I'd ever go back to it again. Good review by the way.
doom 3 is doomguy before he went home and seen that the demons killed his pet rabot. its before he swore vengeance. before he became immortal. and if you were paying attention to lore sheets you would know that they terraformed mars through new age alchemy so that the air was breathable
its a complete reboot of the series. i so hope they do a remake of doom 3 just like resident evil has had done to it. and actually its a growing trend. it would be so amazing to see this remade. if people stopped complaining about it they would probably do it but right now all they do is listen to what fans want. fans didn't like this game for the most part which is sad to me :'( lmfao

True. I guess if you're going to try and be like another game, you can do a lot worse than Half Life. But Doom shouldn't NEED to try and be like anything else. Just be like Doom!
