I have watched like 12 videos of this damned keyboard, solely for the clicking of the keys. (I have ADHD and it’s just important to my brain for productivity) I care not about the specs. I just like the way it’s shaped and the key sound. So thank you for including that. It was the most useful information you could give lol.

Thanks for the review. I pre-ordered the white color one can't wait to get it. Having tempered glass on iPad shouldn't be an issue right? Like it should still be fully closed. Also which one is heavier when combined with iPad Brydge or MK?

Good review. Have used Brydge keyboards before. Really stoked about the removal of the hinges…great improvement. I’ve already got mine on order. Will arrive around the same time as my iPad Pro 12.9 2021 model. I also ordered the Apple 5th Gen folio as a companion cover for when I want to use the iPad Pro in full tablet mode. I can then lay it down without being concerned about scratching the back of the iPad.
How long does it take to charge ? Also the brydge connect app is no longer available on App Store. I just received mine and wonder if I should return. I love the look and feel.
Hey Man thanks for the review . I have one question : is the keyboard still usable when the ipad is in vertical position ? Does it still stick magneticaly to the holder ? Thanks in advance for the answer
The price makes it a winner in my opinion, the larger mousepad and the addition shortcut buttons are just the gravy on top. Apple not introducing anything new for the 2021 magic keyboard just shows that they know their ain’t no competition which is a problem.

Can you use this with a mouse simultaneously connected to the iPad?
Would this and the new M1 12.9” iPad Pro be a good lightweight laptop replacement if you do your main work on a 5K iMac? I’m thinking communication, project management on the go, remoting into Linux servers to fix things, dumping and editing mirrorless photos while traveling, using an external SSD, playing games, watching videos, and reading? I like the idea of having a tablet that I can pop into this thing when I need it without having to separately buy and carry a MacBook Air and an iPad Pro. Thanks.
Probably not. At 4-5 pounds, this ipad+keyboard setup is in no way light-weight. And looking at what you would use it for, maybe you are better off with a macbook air. iPad OS is very different from macOS.
I loved mines up until the hinges started loosing only had it for a month the hinges cam no longer hold the ipad without falling all the way back. Trying to figure out how to tighten it again

I got one as well and I really love it and since the true Multi Touch I did not bother to replace my Magic Keyboard since I go the new 2021 1TB 12.9 iPad Pro. And the instance on works for me like a champ.
Hey ATG, long time since I've commented on one of your reviews. Hope you've been well? Just got the 11 Max + for my newest iPad Pro M1 and I have now retired my Magic Keyboard and am really loving the Brydge. So much happier with it than the original Brydge Pro 11 I got back in 2018 for my first iPad Pro 2018. Really missed the Shortcut Keys, which as you know the Magic Keyboard doesn't have. The Trackpad works great. Everything about the Brydge is terrific.
Definitely want to see a comparison between Brydge & Apple keyboard. How many backlit keyboard settings on the Apple keyboard versus the five on the brydge keyboard.? What about the variety of ports on either keyboard and their flexibility? Where can the Apple Pencil sit or store on either keyboard?
Will the Baseus Hub work on this case??

If the apple magic keyboard and the brydge 12.9 max plus was the same price which one would you cop? My friend had the last year keyboard and he says his is working find with the m1 ipad pro. They selling last year magic keyboard for 199 at best buy.

i'm waiting for 11 max+ to come out in September. Really wish it to connect using smart connector but have to satisfy with just bluetooth connection.

lips, bonus function row and trackpad…bought the magic keyboard and would have kept it if MAX+ didn’t pop up after the april event. kept hitting the sides of the magic keyboard trackpad causing mistakes. that side by side 😳😳😳 cannot wait for my pre-order. this review confirms gonna be in trackpad heaven 🥰
What is the surface of the plastic lid of the case made of? Is it a fingerprint magnet like the MK?

Yes. Only logitech has the license as of now.

There’s a photo of the Apple Pencil magnetically attached to the iPad on the product page he links to. The keyboard case does not obstruct that connection.

Wish it had the Smart Connector pins, did you notice any lag in typing or swiping with a Bluetooth connection?
Apple prevents other companies from using the smart connector. Logitech has got the license to use the smart connector. I hope brydge can get it too; they are making good products.
Great review! I like the product but it seems too pricey. If it were $150 less then I’d be seriously considering it. I’d like to see a review after 6 solid months of use.

Hi, I live in Belgium an dI can’t download to Brydge connect app for some reason.
Because bridge is now out of business, they just disappeared. BTW does the keyboard work good? Cause I’m planning to get one and idk if it is worth it now that there is now app etc
@@jorherf tbh without the app, it was laggi at first. but when a new Ipad update came it worked great. and IT IS BEAUTIFULL.

Looks nice, large track pad - alot of screen jiggle though.
The only thing you don’t mention is that you don’t have a back light on the key board . Most likely it dies not have one so that means a no no gif this keyboard
They did mention it, it does have backlight keys

The Logitech blows this thing away. The Logitech is two piece and you can turn it around for easy tablet mode when you have the keyboard on the go. Same price thinner better materials.

I would love to see a comparison between all three keyboards. My LogiTech Keys-to-Go keyboard for my 2015 iPad Pro will also connect via Bluetooth to my iPhone. Will this mew keyboard connect as well via Bluetooth?
Keep in mind that you can't comfortably use the Combo touch, on your lap, vs the magic keyboard and brydge. Also, like the Brydge, it has no pass through usb c charging . Everything else about the CT is better than the rest though.
@@zico1024 thanks for your input here but frankly speaking that’s not an issue at all for me cause really if I need to use it on my lap then I’m not in a laptop mode but rather tablet mode. I can also understand the charging issue but again it’s no deal breaker for me cause I’ll rather have protection for my $1500 device than play with something that don’t

Do they not know how much money they could be making right now if they made one of these for galaxy tab s7, s7 plus, and the upcoming s8 line. Dex on android has been a game changer for desktop environment on a tablet
Does this review discussed the touch pad? That might be the biggest issue of this keyboard. Though bigger, it is much worse than the MK touchpad. Also, because it uses bluetooth, firmware is a big issue. There's always a chance that something not working and you have to wait a few days to fix.

@Danny Boy Idk where everybody gets the 6 months from. The website says 3 months with 2 hours use per day (=180h total). And about 40h with backlight.
Actually it’s 3.1 lbs…super light weight.

The Magic keyboard should have had headphone jack,
I just by bridge 12.9 max+ on Thursday last week keyboard coming on follow Saturday. Keyboard when it coming it look good quality. After I update firmware everything look fine. After I working on it in real life not advertising I found problem come from Bluetooth connection is lost some time pointer is jumping around random point from one point to other point with just 1 finger on touch pad. Support is very bad and difficult to contact and feedback. When I send e-mail to them. They just send me back with same word without information I give it back to them. I complained on Facebook about real negative feedback of them product they not answer anything but they deleted my comment. And after I use it 3 day hinge are is crack. Becareful on that point it weak point. Product itself look like good quality but support it not for me. If they keep connection answer and support like professional way maybe I still have a positive and help to improve quality of product complaints. But for now absolutely negative. I not recommend to use this product because 1. They not use good point or take advantage on apple magic connection. 2. Hinge area is very weak not strong enough. 3. The Logitech touch combo at the same price is twice as good as apple’s and this one. The fact this is one piece is actually a downgrade not a positive as the poster says.
@Danny Boy I called it a downgrade because he said the previous year’s model of that same cover was a two piece. He acted like the move to a one piece was an upgrade, and I called it a downgrade. My comment didn’t have anything to do with who has access to the connector. I was expressing my opinion about the same manufacturers choice year over year. I didn’t get any facts wrong. You may want to read a little closer before attacking a comment.
