I'm on my fourth RAV 4 and it is more than adequate for my needs. I'm on the list for a Prime but the wait is still long. Do you have any info on Toyota's thoughts on making their hybrids two-way charging, the Prime in particular?
If the redesign was going to happen in 2025 we would have heard it from Toyota by now. I just laugh when I see a new video about the 2025 Rav4 from nobody's that are just looking for clicks/views/attention. I made the mistake a few months ago & watched a couple of them and it won't happen again. Keep up the good work Marcello!
Would the facelift on the Corolla Cross serve as clue?
It will probably look like how the prius and camry redesign looks I assume with the headlights, only makes sense. The major question is will it be boxier or still keep its current form.
So true, lots of speculation out there. The thing I don’t like about the nutmeg is they kept the upper interior grey, just doesn’t seem right imo. My husbands suv also has nutmeg/tan seating but the colour is carried thru the cabin interior.

My sources here at TMMC are saying moslty hybrid only.
Not until late 2025/early 2026.
what about the cable gate issues and roof leaks?

These jokers do the same thing with Apple products. This obsession with what these companies ought to be doing is simply unrealistic and ridiculous.
the problem isn't the obsession with companies. It's that the algorithm rewards clickbait and it piques people's interest. Products will come to market and trust me you'll find out about them.
I would like to know if it's true, that a hybrid is not a good solution if you only take your car occasionally?
Some people mention that it damages the batteries?
I only do approximately 8,000 km per year.
It doesn't seem to be a problem. I have a 2020 Prius Prime from 2019 with only 25000 miles but no degradation of the battery can be discerned. On hybrids, you have to do the math on the extra cost vs. gas savings but also factor in the savings on brake pads. I have a 2012 Camry Hybrid with about 115,000 miles and the original brake pads show little wear. At this rate it could go to 250,000 without a brake job.

I might be interested in buying a new RAV4, but in the mid-west all the dealers only stock ugly black interiors for the affordable trims, reserving the nice tan interiors for the high price trims. No thanks.
Was informed by a Toyota dealership in NZ that the new generation will be in 2025. But yes, I think some of the computer generated stuff is way off the mark. I’m sure the interior however will be a significant step up and it’s long over due.

So you mean do not order 2024 rav4, wait and if new gen rav4 launches and then order 2025 rav4 right? Cause even though order 2024 rav4 it is gonna be delivered in late 2024.
Forget the RAV4 when are they coming out with a plug-in hybrid Sienna put me first on the list.
I just watched a car show vid on the new Signia Suv, and just behind it on the convention Center floor was the new Rav 4, and it looked pretty much exactly like the white one shown @ :25 in this vid.
What channel showed that?

My brother’s neighbor’s cousin knows a guy who is absolutely sure the 2025 RAV4 will come with a mini fridge. Awesome, can’t wait.
I had high hopes for the current Rav4 when it was first introduced but the very boring and old school interior layout and the very loud engine (gas model only) put me off. I still test drove it at Richmond Hill Toyota in 2019 but decided against it. I'm still driving my 2017 ILX and waiting on the next gen Rav4. If Toyota fails to catch up to its competition with the next redesign, I'll just give up waiting and go for a CX-5 or CX-50. Funny how the current CX-5 being so much older than the current Rav4 can still be a more compelling vehicle.

I think the 2024 RAV4 Hybrid XSE is the best looking Mid-sized hybrid. We already know, it is the most powerful and most reliable mid-sized SUV on the American market. I hope they make it similar to the 2024 models, but that it will be only Hybrid. I wish they would sell a 2025 VENZA in the States, because I heard they are not selling it here in the USA for 2025, which sucks. Please keep selling the VENZA.
New gen of RAV4 we will see as 2026 model year.
Hopefully when the 2025 RAV4 comes out hybrid they fix that Power Cable going to the back The Corrosion Problem!!!

It is seriously dated, looks like a 10 year old car inside and out.
Motormouth said that Toyota told them it was going to be more like late 2025 for the new model
They also stated that Toyota were cagey and playing things close to their chest.

I hate those channels. I click on them and the fake voice and limited footage tells me immediately it’s not a real person or anything but clickbait. Sometimes I haven’t kept up with the latest news so I’ll check out what’s new in the category of compact SUV. Car reviewers get to check out the cars first. If it’s not a reputable channel, don’t bother.

Toyota is too slow on upgrading RAV4. Just because there is no strong competitor of RAV4 out of Chinese market.
