My view is that Dr. Radha krishnan can be an intellect but he don't have any authority to say that Sri Ramanuja's description of Srivaikunta particularly that of gold and diomonds and other preciours metals etc. is childish. Sri Ramanuja's mind cannot be read by any body because he is an avatar of Adishesa. He describes that Sri vaikuntam is decorated with gold, diamonds and other precious gems. Dr. Radha krishnan have not really understood the context. Even in kaliyuga normal human beings are decorating their houses with gold and other precious .gems It is only a decoration and nothing to do with ATMA AND PARAMATMA.

1) karma. God is not giving happiness to some and sorrow to some. The living beings ( mortal ) are punishing themselves by accumulating karmas. Karma is law of nature. Even god did not violate law of nature despite he could easily set aside the rules of nature. Through karma punishment you are free off all sins. 2) 'atma' does not have any karma. Atma is a small spark of god. Hence your atma is free of all karma. Atma is searching for constant happiness. Brahma created the world. After creation we wanted to become independent. But 4 kumaras ( one of the 4 kumaras is none other than Lord murugan) alone did not come to earth. Instead they surrenderd to Vishnu and lived in vailunta. Remaining all wanted to enjoy independent of god so we came here. 3) karma = actions; duty; consequence of every actions you perform. Whatever activity you do, there is a karma. For e.g. if you prepare well for exam, your hard work gives you your resultant karma with good percentage. If you murder someone, then that action will pay you back either by punishment by law or somebody else will do to you what you did to them either this birth or next birth or any subsequent births under influence of 'time' without fail . God is not punishing you. But the law of nature is punishing you. God will never punish his child. You are punishing yourself. 4) god did not lead you in sinful way. You yourself wanted to be glorified independent of god so you are here. Here if you work hard and earn well you will be glorified. See Brahma created us. So Brahma himself has passion and desires unlike Vishnu. But the 4 kumaras immediately ran to Vishnu and praised him and lived in vaikunta but you came to earth so why blame god? 5) leela is done so that the lost soul will find way back to god. Lord is always happy in his own self. Your soul is a part of that god. So your soul is actually happy. If you meditate and connect your mind with your soul, you will find the bliss and the truth will open to you. 6) atma is not alien to god. It's a part of god. For e.g. your soul can be compared with a drop of water separated from ocean. Is the drop of water from ocean alien to the whole body of water in the ocean? 7) No. Because you live in a world of maya. Whereas god is in absolute reality. Here there is nothing permanent whereas in the absolute reality everything is permanent. Here you have to earn your happiness whereas there you are constantly in bliss. Here at some stage there is a destruction of your life and univ whereas there there is no destruction or creation. There is no influence of 'kala' time whereas here? 8) when you say 'begining' Then the question of 'time' arises. Therefore there was no 'begining' or 'end'. We all always lived. And we live forever. Time 'kaalam' is an illusion. When you separate your mind from body you realize your original immortal nature devoid of 'time'. You are not your mind nor your body. 9) no 10) everything has life. Ocean has life, sun has life. Fire has life etc it is just that you don't realize it with our limited senses. For there were rust found in molten state of iron called impurities. To separate that impurities the scientists had to heat the molten state iron further. Rust in iron is formed due to fungai. Science found out this only late due to our imperfect senses. Adiyen begs to differ on the point of what Vaikundam is and why it was described with such grandeur by Shri Udayavar. Adiyen believes that Vaikundam is not a place in time. Its a mental construct similar to the mandala in Tantric worship of Sakthi or in Tibetan Buddhism. If one imagines this construct thru meditation in all its Glory and grandeur, it can lead to Dhyanam as in Ashtanga Yoga bypassing all the precluding stages and steps a Mumukshu has to traverse. It's a short cut to salvation without any need to follow austerities as prescribed in Yoga Sastra. Adiyen.
You mean to say all are our mental creations and not god's. Parama padam is famously known as vishnoh paraman padam. Sri Shankara gave bhashyam as paramam staanam and not as paraman stithi as Advaita belive. Regards
