Swamin, towards the end devareer have mentioned that Vibheeshanan did Sharanagathi to get raajyam. Is that correct? Sukrivan only did Sharanagathi to get back his raajyam and wife, not Vibheeshanan. Please clarify swamin. adiyen RAmAnuja daasan

Namaskarams, Vibheeshana did not openly ask for Raajyam but in Canto no : 50 of Yuddha Kanda in Slokas 18 and 19 he says "I was aspiring for the throne of Ceylon to be attained by Rama's help but because of Indrajit's Nagapasam Rama is flat all my ambitions are lost I am equal to dead " Adiyen Dasan .
