Oh my gosh!!! Thank you!!! I saw Adobe advertising this and I had NO IDEA this was a thing!!! (been editing on this program for 15 years!!!) This is going to save a ton of time on some of work!
oh my goodness! thank you! I knew i could do transcriptions but I thought i had to manually advance to each pause and then delete it in the text of the transcript. This will save me COUNTLESS time.
I'm glad to hear that!
Man, that’s great. Thanks for sharing and showing the different ways of doing it
No problem!
THANK YOU
Good concise video. Is it possible to use this new feature with multiple video tracks? Thanks to your video, I suppose I could use LIFT...and that would leave a gap that I could then manually, but precisely, edit another video track. But, hoping there is another way. Thanks!
You can. Just select the multiple audio tracks as well.
Oh my gosh, that minimum pause length is amazing. This is going to save hours per edit.
It's saved me so much time I can't even say!
@@EditWithAndy I set the minimum pause down to like 0.16 seconds and this is going to make editing so much less painful. Editing is still a chore but it take some of the tediousness out.
Really useful! Thanks💯
Thanks!!
Nice Tutorial!
Thanks!
thank you for simplifying this!!
No problem!
I don't have eyedropper type tool at 1:13 it's not there.
You might have to add it to your toolbar.
@@EditWithAndy me either and I cant find how to add it, could you please help me out? thanks man!
Did u get the solution
Is there a way to not delete the pauses but instead make the cuts, lift them one track so I can clearly see what are pauses and what are not but I still have them in my timeline?
Answering to my own question in case anyone needs to do this hahaha, I got a way to do this in Premiere, I just saved the original clip in a second sequence, then in the first sequence I apply the Delete-Lift pauses, then I copy all of this and paste them on the second Sequence (Over the clip without the cuts) and that way I got all the cuts of the pauses, while keeping the silences too.
What if you’re working with more than one track, like three or four that are synced? If you do the ripple delete, will it ripple the whole timeline on all tracks?
Depends on if the tracks are locked or not. If they're locked, they won't move.
thanks! it does not work for 100% but it does make a difference
Oh for sure! The tech is still being worked on, but it's sped up my editing work flow tremendously.
Why does my premire have filler words greyed out? i cant use it for some reason.
It's possible that you don't have any detectable filler words, so it'll be grayed out.
