I wish I could share a screen shot of this, but I just found an unsent letter from Gale in his bag. It reads as follows: "To the illustrious MFPallytime, It greatly pains me to write this letter. I thought we make an excellent team. However, as of late, I feel a smidge less ignored by yourself than I do Lady Mystra. I understand that I'm asking a lot of you when I advise you that I require magical items. It is only in concern for mine, and yours, safety that I ask this. And, I do not ask it lightly or flippantly. Unfortunately, I have yet to garner your attention to remind you of the urgency of my situation, as it were, for the last four episodes. Please, make haste in coming to my aid as I fear that dire consequences will soon ensue. Yours in the weave and a servant of Mystra, Gale of Waterdeep"
Gale's departure would have been a perfect chance to get a NPC from Withers
Walter, not sure if they patched it or not, but there is a way to refresh the stock of vendors other than long-resting. When you level up a character, only do one character at a time, and then talk to a vendor. Their stock with be refreshed after you finalize each level up, so you can potentially have the vendor refresh their stock 5x times in one go - the original visit, and then 4x level up restocks. Hopefully they didn't patch it and this helps you get more strength potions!!
I don't think this night will go out of K'lark's memory so soon - if Lae'zel also had something to add, that'd be a jackpot, lol
The way I snorted when Laezel was pushed into the drink. Really thought she had it for a sec, and then boop, shes gone. Also the quarter thing reminded me of how the Third Pounder burger failed because people think the Quarter Pounder is bigger because the number 4 is a larger number than 3.
Hey Pally! On the top of the Arcane tower in the underdark there is a club that increases you strength to 19! There is a chair you need to break and it will give you the weapon.

Reminder for Pally: Casting Longstrider and then unequipping it from your spell list for the day removes the buff from your party!
Also Gale has proficiency with shields, just as an FYI. equipping one gives him a boost with no determent
Astarian most definitely kills you if he continues. Not a game over, but would need to revive yourself.

Yea I think The githzerai were the gith who after there uprising said hey maybe we shouldn’t do exactly what the illithids so they spilt form the qithyanki and became their own “race” but only because of ideology i think there biologically exactly the same
Fun fact you don't need a big cavern to generate wind, the chiflón del diablo(devil's whistle roughly translated)for example, whistles with wind and it is pretty small, a couple of meters at the highest.
If you build a hangar big enough you can even generate clouds inside it, it happened at NASA in one of their vehicles assembly buildings.

Pally! I have a suggestion for you since you're looking to stock up on Elixirs of Hill Giant Strength. Since you are buying them from that vendor you should also buy her Hill Giant Fingers if she has them for crafting more potions. So onto to the crafting part:
VERY IMPORTANT: WISDOM IS THE MOST IMPORTANT ABILITY SCORE MAX THIS OUT AND PICK PROFICIENCY IN THE MEDICINE SKILL.
There is pretty simple potion crafting build to make multiple potions when crafting using the Lightfooted Hafling hireling for their racial feature, that NPC starts as a bard so you would respec them into a Transmutation wizard and grab proficiency in Medicine and max your Wisdom out, then take 2 levels in wizard to get Transmutation subclass for their class feature Experimental Alchemy. Then you'll want to multiclass back into a bard for Expertise in Medicine, Bardic Inspiration, take 3 levels of Bard (level 5 character) and grab the Enhanced Ability spell and always pick Wisdom. That is the bare minimum to get your Hill Giant potions going. You can take 6 levels of wizard to get Transmuter's Stones to give your main party members.
Once you dismiss them from your party they just hang out with Withers.
If you had speak with animals active you'd be able to spare the rothe.

I *FUCKING LOVE* plant growth on tabletop- it has a HUNDRED foot radius and you’re allowed to carve it’s shape entirely as you please square-to-square. No concentration either. It’s a real outlier in terms of strength that can be absolutely broken if your DM just lets you use it freely. So is sleet storm, too bad they’re nerfed in the context of this game. Their mere mention just gets me so excited!
You can turn on/off great weapon master/sharpshooter feat from your spell list so you don't have to hit 5 hp enemy with the penalty to attack.

Hey Pally Can you do the Book of thay quest for Gale - as he got the first blight reading a book about netherese magic would be ironic he never learned to not read dangerous books or be truce to his character.
I lost Gale the EXACT same way on my very first playthough. And wanting to experience the first playthtough as naturally as possible, I just accepted it and let him go. Was a little sad not to have a wizard on my first run. But what can ya do? 😢
