The Crucible was a powerful force, that is the reason why the Greater Will completely marginalized the omens, because they had crucible aspects, being Mohg and Morgott the best examples, Mohg with his wings and Morgott with his tail, just like those from the crucible knights

I’ve never been a shield user in soulsborne games but watching the crucible knights no sell everything thanks to their shields is making me greatly reconsider.
Shield runs are hella fun
Did a run with Brass shield + guardian swordspear for aesthetics and with that build Radagon was super fun, trading guard counters back and forth n all that

Seeing these two kick everyone’s ass makes me feel better about being terrible at this game
I hated having to fight them, but I mad respect their skills--they're tactically very smart, have incredible poise, and have these tanky shields that diminish most incants and spells you throw at them. And their armor set is primo badass.
They're very dominating against most humanoid enemies, but the problem is when they face giant monstrous enemies with huge AOE attacks, their speed is a negative against them. If they were able to spam their winged incantations more often to dodge the AOE attacks , they probably could take down most giant enemies.

@daeryxaqueryx Mad respect for a Crucible Knight appearing right near the start of the game when virtually no-one will be able to beat it? It's considered skilled when a boss reads your controller input, doesn't have a stamina bar and moves straight from one attack to another in a way the player can't? In that case this is the best boss ever.
@@adammclaughlin845that's how boss AI works lmao,almost every enemy reads your controller input and also i didn't find crucible knight unbeatable at the start,maybe you're just bad at the game?
I like the crucible knights as an enemy. They have a great move set and feel like bad asses littered around the lands.
First time facing the one in Redmane Castle was hard than some late mid game bosses

They had the DragonLord but for some reason they didn't attacked that much in the end when they broke his poise. They let him stand and he smashed their heads instead.
One is a challenge all on its own but TWO!!! It’s like going up against two of histories strongest knights!
You get to fight two in a tomb. Super frustrating even with the best summons.
Jesus, I remember spending hours over several gaming sessions getting through the Aurizia tomb, dodging those hell-forsaken chariots and then having to fight these two chad units at the end. It was so effing exhausting and infuriating that after I finally defeated them, I had my character slowly walk outside the tomb entrance, sit down at the edge of a cliff, and just stare mindlessly at the scenery for about ten minutes. It was THAT mentally taxing.

Yeah, but imagine wanting to kill everything on sight and die to a golden eyed one. I think they drop about 3 or 5k in farum azula, so imagine about 18 to 25k from one dude

I'm happy that they made Radagon and Elden Beast a shared fight because that is how it is in the game. So doing a BvB should include both because they are an endurance boss fight. Similar to how we keep both duos for godskin

Personally I’d have preferred second phase radagon which could of been queen marika but from a lore prospective the Elden beast is cool
@@ghostlyswat12What if we still had the elden beast fight, the only difference is that the beast is emerging out of the cracked body of radagon and both are acting on their own. Kind of like the Twin Princes in dark souls 3, radagon does the melee and the elden beast does the ranged while still keeping radagons ranged abilities, parry and grab.
now the Tree Sentinel would know how we felt the first time.

They're soooo tanky.
Yep, these ones do appear to be the Farum Azula ones and you'd be correct in thinking that they're stronger than the regular ones because (outside of bosses) they have about 1.85x the HP of the next regular Crucible Knight you can find (the Leyndell ones) at 5,512 HP compared to 3,000 HP. Can't speak on their damage, but it's also a fair bit higher iirc.

I remember fighting the two nights when i was underleveled. They handed me my ass so many times but I just kept at it. Eventually I killed them by utilizing parry. Once you learn their attacks, they're easy to parry because they really telegraph their attacks.
The moment of the battle with Rennala looks like a cut scene from Star Wars, when Anakin came to do the younglings
Godfrey is such a chad for having these dudes as his subordinates. Really shows how strong he was.
Splendid fights!! You picked the best outcomes if you did pick. Interesting to see some bosses were close to beating them and vice versa. And Malenia is truly legendary finishing them off in 1st form.

I love how the thumbnail is two crucible knights doing a two pose with their wings, showing them of at malenia because their wings look like proper wings, unlike malenias which is just a tangled mess of her hair, rot and a metric ton of butterflies.
Honestly one of the main things I take from this is just how beautiful some of the spectacles are that From created in this game for us. And how so many of them are a bit wasted on the fact that we stay slapping ankles for many of these fights.
Knights in heavy armor dominate since they don't care much for being hit, who would have thought...
