    Define sadness: A Schaaf video ending.
    Beautiful sounding bike, love the clicks on the upshifts, love the sound it makes while you blip it when downshifting.
    Your riding is an inspiration, man! Sitting at home, missing the roads and my bike, your videos are an intense burst of relatability in terms of why I love to ride. Especially the style of riding for today, with a bike of this stance, on these kinda roads, at this pace. With you driving, so those fun, technically sound, polite lines. Gospel.
    Also cannot stress how many times I've noticed this in the previous videos too before you mentioned it today, you are just KIND. The dropping down the revs for the residents' sake, the salutations to fellow bikers, the considerate nature that you showcase with cars and most importantly, bicycles. Absolute respect there, man! That's education in riding etiquette, right there.
    Much respect and love! Cheers! :D

      Agree, is a delight to watch a bike video without a compilation of drama queens picking up on drivers changing lanes or with the mobile phone on their hands at the traffic light.

    I rode this bike once on a promo event. It's just the epitome of what a boomer ADV is to me. It's got a lazy (but lovely) V engine with heaps of character and glorious sound. It's so damn smooth and well behaving. It does not like being pushed, but just leisurely riding along is what makes it so special. I'd love to have it one day when I take riding less seriously. It's weird to me that more people down own it and talk about it or own it. It's really affordable here in Slovenia 11400€ starting prices up to 13000€. The engine is just serene and the quality, the clunks of the gearbox just twirl some senses in me. And there's something about it, the engine just twists the whole bike when you rev it at a stand still... Do yourself a favor and take a look at this bike if you're considering it. I'm in my twenties, just for reference.

      I'm in my twenties too and I think this bike is ab absolute peach. Classic looks, air-cooled engine, clunky gearbox (in a good way?, nice suspensions. As a Bonneville owner there's no alternative to the V85TT in a Triumph range. Air-cooled engines are abandoned, Scrambler 1200 is immensely expensive, has no room for luggage and small fuel tank. Tiger 800/900 are just in another league.

      Bought mine half a year before I turned 30 😁 It's a fantastic bike, it can't compare to its powerful rivals when it comes to power, speed etc. but it doesn't even try. It rides well, handles good, sounds fantastic without being super loud (a great advantage in the light of the noise discussions in DE & AT) and is a pleasure to look at.

    Since the amount of bikes I need will always be calculated by “n+1” (“n” being the bikes I already have), I just got myself a V85TT. Already charmed by my bullet proof V7 Stone, I didn’t hesitate a second to go for the Adventure version for my off-road trips. That thing is absolutely awesome. Granted, I’m happy with soft off-roading so I don’t need a beast like an Africa Twin or an 890.

    I own a V85TT Travel. MY bike is more than a pleasure to ride. It is like magic. At low RPMs it feels almost agricultural. The sound reminds me of the Moto Guzzi historical background. You can see Mandello del Lario in the backroad. You can see the winding roads of the hills that eventually become mountains. You can feel the breeze on Lake Como. Nevertheless,
    at higher RPMs, the bike feels like silk. It is smooth and well balanced. It is an orgasm at every bend. It is not the fastest, but MY bike is the one with the most character and style. If that's not love, then what it is?

    Hallo Schaaf, als MG-Fan habe ich lange auf dieses Video gewartet, Danke! Es zeigt, dass 80 gut bewegte PS durchaus ausreichen können... Vorbildlich wie Du durch Ortschaften langsam im großen Gang durchgebollert bist, andere Motorradfahrer gegrüßt hast und einfach auf andere umsichtig Rücksicht nimmst! Mir ist es tatsächlich insgesamt a bisserl zu schnell wie Du gefahren bist, sonst wäre es ein Lehrvideo! Du fährst ja immer aktuelle Bikes (macht ja auch Sinn wegen den Klicks), vielleicht kommst Du ja mal in den Genuß eine große Breva, 1200 Sport oder eine Stelvio zu fahren, da sie m.M.n. noch mehr Guzzi-Feeling vermitteln (Motor, Gewicht, "Motorrad zwischen den Beinen"). @@mr.pinter1080 Servus Mr. Pinter, ich habe eine 1100-er Breva, Bj. 2006 ohne ABS. Ich bin immer noch sehr begeistert von diesem Motorrad. Der bullige Motor, das sehr gute Getriebe, der Sitz- und Fahrkomfort, die Soziustauglichkeit, die Zuladung, der große Tank, das einfache Verstellen der Vorspannung und der Zugstufe, die Wartungs- und Reparaturfreundlichkeit, der Stauraum unter der Sitzbank, einfach top! Schon allein das Starten ist immer ein Erlebnis! Falls Du mal Probleme mit dem Anlasser haben solltest (bekanntes Breva-Problem), musst Du einfach die Abdeckung unten am Anlasser abschrauben, die 2 Kabel am Anlasser abschrauben und mit einer Feile blank machen, ebenso die Kabel oben an der Batterie, dann geht er wieder! Nach der Winterpause muss ich immer oben am Kupplungshebel den Deckel des Behälters abschrauben und ein paar mal den Kupplungshebel ziehen, um die Luft aus der Leitung zu pumpen, damit die Kupplung wieder einwandfrei trennt. Falls Du nicht das Werkstatthandbuch hast. Der Serviceschlüssel ist bei meiner 36421. Mit ihm kannst Du den Fehlerspeicher auslesen und auch die SERVICE-Einblendung zurücksetzen. Ich wohne nahe des Schwarzwalds, in Villingen-Schwenningen. Ob wir es schaffen den guten Schaaf mit unseren Brevas in den Schwarzwald zu locken, wage ich allerdings zu bezweifeln...😀Gruß Jochen

      If it's anything like my Stelvio, the engine is NOT like many v-twins. On mine the revs up to 4k can be a bit rough but on the freeway going 80 MPH, the engine wants you to rev it beyond 4k. As you go beyond 4k the engine smooths out and will keep on revving toward the redline of 8k. This is a smaller engine and I don't know what It's unique characteristics might be differing from the 1200. This engine likely in no way revs like a Harley or Indian which may top out before 5k.

    • @Schaaf
      @Schaaf  3 роки тому +1

      True that. The Guzzi feels best when cruising relaxed but still it takes the high revs very well and also offers quite a bit of power up there.

    Hallo Schaaf,
    ein optisch "leiwandes" Fahrzeug bei dem MG leider den Fehler gemacht hat ein Display statt Rundinstrumenten zu verbauen.....😌
    Für den kräftigen Vortrieb braucht´s bei der Maschine leider schon recht hohe Drehzahlen. Der Motorklang ist wirklich schön, vereinzelt glaube ich den Kardan herauszuhören.
    Wenn die Maschine wenigstens die versprochenen PS und das versprochenee Drehmoment liefern würde wäre alles Guzzi -Gut. Leider fehlen fast 10 % der Prospektdaten und das bei eine Tourenmaschine, die ohnehin nicht "üppig" mit Leistung bestückt ist.
    Deine Kurvenlinie ist ,wie fast immer, sehr sicher und die Strecke himmlisch.
    Weiterhin viele so tolle Video´s bitte :)

I jist Hope it will be reliable enough for long term

    • @tomdrpa7221
      @tomdrpa7221 3 роки тому +1

      @@borislavnt976 Depends, both are great bikes. Tracer was "too fast" for me. Guzzi is more lazy, but I enjoy the ride much more on Guzzi than on Tracer. So far I was not on long trip with Guzzi more than one day due Covid, so I do not know what she do with me after two weeks of riding and sleeping in tent. What I may say that speeds over 120kmh will increase consumption a lot and bike does not like highways for long time, it is not comfortable and you feel that bike is not for that. With Tracer the highway was nothing with over 160kmh.
      So you should test both what fits to your personality and riding style. I have to pick slow and nice roads in my planning of trips and avoiding highways ( not for all costs ) if possible. Also If you have friends with faster bike, most probably you going to slow them.
      I had no issues with oil leaking and such, but from Yamaha you may have feeling of more reliable bike. Guzzi is like a tractor.
      But as I said , test both and you will see which fits to you. I finally found bike which really fits to me and I want to keep it for very long time :D
