    they do realize that theres protein in the lentils and beans....right?
    and why sooooo much oil?

      There may be more protein in lentils weight for weight too.
      I have never watched this channel before but "good to see you#ve got the protein in there with the tuna" - he is the bad chef as in ill-informed and killing his customers?

      I am not a vegetarian, but even I would probably remove the tuna. I have not tried this recipe yet, but ratios seem a bit off. There is so much stuff that the couscous seems a little overshadowed by the other ingredients. I am not trying to hate on Laura but this recipe seems like a thrown together recipe, rather than a thoughtful and carefully tested one.

    Our couscous is thinner than that we call that Muhammas in north Africa
    And we cook it on the steam not boiled in water

    Thankfully in Australia, you can find pomegranate seeds on their own.

    Why is it so oily! I'll leave out the tuna. It doesn't really fit with the rest of the ingredients.

      Agreed. You can reduce the olive oil, but it does need a certain amount of olive oil because 1) it is the dressing 2) it prevents the couscous from sticking together (something pearl couscous is susceptible to).

    You need some protein ( adds tuna ) 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ where are all the herbivore animals getting their protein from? The elephants, giraffe and etc ...

    I have seen a lot of pearl couscous salad recipes calling for toasting before adding water, but this is the first calling for olive oil in the toasting. Why? I have often heard from chefs to not add oil to boiling pasta, since couscous is a pasta isn't this a mistake?

    They never chopped the avo !! Also didn't show the full process of the couscous cooking. Does one drain off excess water, or do you let couscous absorb it all? Very disappointing!!
