Murdered Boy’s Mom Chokes Up While Testifying: ‘He Was There for a Child Abuse Exam’

- The mother of Corey Micciolo took the stand Tuesday before opening statements and identified the 6-year-old’s father, Christopher Gregor, who is accused of murdering him. Gregor allegedly abused the young boy to death by forcing him to run on a treadmill at high speeds. Breanna Micciolo reported Gregor for abuse over 100 times before the child died. Micciolo nearly broke down in tears while recalling the last moments she shared with her son.

Why are they never held accountable. I have seen a few cases where they were at fault. Playing with children's lives. Sad when children have to live in fear and are not protected and cherished by their parents.
CPS seems to fail a lot of children and they need to start being held to a higher standard
@@Stacey67643 or are held responsible. I think if there is a complaint about one of the parents the child should be removed until there's an investigation even if they don't go to either of the parents.
I wouldn’t call him a parent but about them exactly? Because she not only reported this monster to DCP&P multiple times, she also filed an emergency motion for custody and NOTHING was done to protect Corey. Her concerns were repeatedly ignored and blown off. She did everything she legally could to protect her son. I live in Ocean County NJ where this took place and we rallied behind Breanna when Corey died because it could’ve easily been prevented had they listened to her one of the many times she expressed her concerns for Corey’s safety. DCP&P and the judge who denied her custody should be held accountable.
Duude. Why are all these children being failed so hard? She was fighting tooth and nail and still nothing was done. All these authorities who ignore a Mother's pleas for her children need to be held accountable! They really need to start being held accountable!

There’s only one MONSTER here responsible for this poor child’s death and that’s that p.o.s. of a Father. The cruelty displayed in what he did to his son on the treadmill is just jaw dropping to behold. I hope he gets life without the possibility of parole.

I literally just got done saying that to the commenter above u that family court gives custody to fathers who want it 70 percent of the time the courts just ignore all the screaming bright red flags of these abusers and the more the mother reports the worse it is for her she is labeled hysterical bitter emotional controlling she is accused of coaching she is then put on supervised visits & lose full custody of thier children there are children dying all over this country because family court literally hands these children over to their abusers on silver platters

Laws need to change. CPS and the police failed my child. I told them my ex slammed my daughter to the ground because he was mad at me and they said they couldn't do anything. I was like." So my daughter has to be hospitalized or dead before you step in?" They replied with " unfortunately the system is messed up." I'm absolutely furious.
Work with your legislators and get the laws changed.

I know they are just entering evidence at this point but, that video where the mom dropped off their son says a lot without any audio needed. The father's body language towards his son is unemotional and empty. There's no hug, touch on the head or shoulder. Just nothing. I've seen people greet dogs with more love. I wonder how the jury will feel when they view it?

The judge who she asked for emergency custody from needs to be in prison too. If neither of them are fit because he's abusive and she's a past addict then put the kid in the care of CPS. Atleast he would be alive today. There was no excuse to leave him with someone who puts bruises on him.

He’s the type that we go into protective custody. Well, it is possible to get to someone in protective custody, it’s a lot harder and a lot less unlikely. Anyone that beats on and abuses, tortures and murders children, is weak, and he will definitely choose protective custody… Especially because he’s a former trooper.

I believe this man only had custody of this child to punish the mother or possibly because his family has appearances they wanted to keep up with with their peers and community, his parents (family) was mentioned when he was first notified about being the father of Corey .It was said that he and his family talked and wanted to be involved or to be able to be in charge and involved in Corey’s life decisions ect…but it was said differently like it was how they would look bad if they denied the child,that they were not going to allow that to happen even if they had no feelings for the boy.Or only feelings of contempt.
Little kids, overweight or not, should not be anywhere near gym equipment of any kind.

The defense is doing their job however in thus case they are bringing more negative opinion to the monster in the dependent's chair. Blaming the mother is as disgusting as blaming the victim in this situation. Its obvious Gregor family raised a spoiled entitled emotional angry monster.

Please forgive me for asking but I would like to know why Corey's mother, Breanna, did not have at least shared custody of Corey? I think I missed something. What I did hear was that Corey's father was not in his life from the beginning.

I think she lost custody in 2020 but I'm not exactly sure if that is accurate or even why she would have lost custody. I missed it too apparently somewhere 🤦🤷
In the opening statements the defense said she was going through some things and lost custody. That could mean so many things, like she was in an abusive relationship, drugs, homeless, etc. but since the custody case isn’t directly related to this they may not explain.

I heard during the trial and after I asked about custody that she had a meth problem and she couldn't get her son back because she had a dirty test. She lapsed. She's very believable and she's being very honest especially about her drug addiction.
