Looks really good. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you!
Very detailed settings shown in the video, quite helpful❤
Thank you. ❤️
Can you please share your RTSS OSD profile?
Looks great!
I don't get it. You go to all this trouble, yet I get the exact some 'blur' during movement in any of my games even without taking all these steps. What am I missing?
Hey @T-Pen ! Again a nice video about the settings and the possibilities with the Legion Go. After I saw this here, i was, if it is possible to combine Lossless Scaling, Auto-VRAM and the Auto-TDP function of Handheld Companion to reduce the tdp automatically with the capped 36 fps. This should increase the battery life and improve temperatures, where no fixed 30 watts are needed. Maybe you could give it a try. 😊
When capping FPS, the TDP will adjust automatically, but when I turn on lossless scaling, the TDP will go to a maximum of 30W automatically. This only happens when plug in.
@@T-PEN probably the advanced power plan settings kicking up the processor state
This is what am waiting for
I dont get it. How does one turn on loseless scaling. Especially if I got the game from xbox pass on the legion go. Furthermore how do u activate it if im already playing a game via in steam?
Press scale then go back to your game
Do I need to have my resolution setting (outside of the game) also match with the in game resolution as well? As I'm using a 4K 120hz display. Also how did you quickly access the task bar to swap between lossless scaling? Did you just set a key map to an unused button or is there already a button mapped for that?
Apologies this is all new to me.
So always turn off and fsr and vsync off for any game? Thanks again. Maybe the God of Hakw tuahs bless you.
Haja tuahs 🤣
Hey how can I use that frame monitor
Do you mainly use Lossless Scaling for your AAA games now or try to optimise using AMD/LEGION/windows settings?
Personally, I just use Lossless Scaling for ease and quickness, and it works with a greater variety of games compared to AMD Adrenaline software. Sometimes AMD Adrenaline detects the games, and sometimes it doesn’t, so I have to restart the device to make it work, which takes a lot of time. If I want the game to look sharper, I can enable AMD FSR in Lossless Scaling. RSR does make the game look better in terms of scaling, but for overall performance, I choose Lossless Scaling over that.
Hey, man. Seems the lossless scaling does make a difference, but can you please show results with higher graphic settings. If you can achieve 100+ fps with LS on 1200p low/mid, why not try high ?
I don’t set high settings because most AAA titles can’t maintain a stable 30 FPS when set to high settings. This results in FPS fluctuations and affects Lossless Scaling performance. Low/Medium is the sweet spot when using Lossless Scaling capped at 30 or 36 FPS.
@@T-PEN So, this implies you play on mostly low 800p settings, when using the Lenovo Legion Go, since it doesn't support 1080, but rather 800p
@@ДимитърМанчев-д2э The Legion Go supports up to 1600p.
How do you activate it and why wont it let me move once i do
hi, but how do you set up lsfg 2.1? I have the steam version of the program and I only get 2.0
You can go to steam and update the software there to get LSFG 2.1.
I guess after new patch 900p will be the sweet spot for the newer games.
Yes, I think 900p is the sweet spot for visual quality and performance.
Does the upcoming new patch boost performance? Thankss
@@yomidesu3145 Nope, only UI and the Legion Space will get update.
@@T-PEN Does that mean I should set the game resolution or the legion go resolution to 1920 x 1200 or both?
Somehow I can't get it to work in the Elden ring, the game stuck when I try to switch window
You can set the game to Borderless window instead & activate lossless scaling.
is x2 less laggy?
I used to compare lossless scaling between X2 and X3. In my case, I don’t notice any differences in input lag, and X3 works better for me.
👍👍 all good now
3x is best id say
Are you locking frames in game or in legion space menu?
I used RivaTuner.
I download lossless scaling from steam but I have only lsfg 1.0 and 2.0 not the 2.1
You can uninstall the app and install it again to get the latest version.
Look cool
🙌🙌🙌
But what about the ghosting ? Thats the most annoying thing about this app
If you cap your frames to stable 36 there is almost no ghosting like in the video
Does this work with bordeless.screen?
Yes, it does.
What are you using to cap your games
RivaTuner
How do I show the fps? And those stats on the screen like you
You can check out my other video; I already made a tutorial on how to get a lossless scaling FPS counter.
What does the input lag look like? is it large or rather not noticeable?
The input lag isn’t bad for me; the game is playable and enjoyable.
@T-PEN ok and what about drivers? use the one from amd itself or Lenovo?
Personally, I used AMD 7840U Driver.
@T-PEN okay I installed yesterday and only get a resolution of 2560x1600 displayed. How did you uninstall the old driver?
whats the programme for the FPS?Cheers
Hello, I used MSI afterburner (RivaTuner) + HWiNFO.
@@T-PEN cheers man
does lossless scaling works when docked?
Yes, it works.
Why wouldn't it
Can i set this setting in emulator CemU or this can problem ?
Works on anything, including videos
