    Just what I was looking for. Jesus took me out of the Church I was a member of and told me I would not be a sheep in his pasture. I said to him that it seemed to me that Christianity was all about doing as little as possible and what could I do for him? First, he showed me to keep the Shabbat. Then he showed me to keep the Feasts. Then he showed me to keep the written Torah. As I have done as he has asked he has given me many gifts and healed everything I have asked of him. Thank you, Jesus.

    Yes! *His feasts* are wonderful rehearsals of His plan of salvation. In practicing them we are reminded of what He has done, is doing and will do!
    Praised is His Name!! 💞

    Thank you for conveying how to not to miss YHWH’s Appointed Times. I grew up a Christian in a Baptist Church and the Preachers I learned from NEVER covered the Old Testament scriptures on why we need to celebrate the Old Testament Feast Days. I left the Church 6 years ago in search for truth and the Most High God has awakened me and I plant seeds within my family. My mother and I took DNA test and discovered that we are Hebrew African Israelites. I believe commemorating YHWH’s Holy Days will break generational curses within my bloodline and set the captives free. Thank you for confirming what I’ve been feeling in my spirit as the only way to worship YHWH is in spirit in truth! Bless up.

    This is absolutely so fascinating to me. I’ve been looking for the what’s and how’s behind celebrating biblical feast days. While I go to a non denominational church and wouldn’t consider myself Torah observant at this point in my life, and while I still celebrate the more “traditional” Christian holidays like Christmas, there’s been this tug on my heart over what has been the past year or so, since I started really watching you videos and watching founded in truths sermons & videos that I really feel in love with this whole concept. I may or may not be Torah observant one day, but for now I just want to take baby steps. And one of those baby steps is biblical feast days and has been something extremely laid on my heart. My issue though, is that I’m 17, living in a Protestant Christian home. Not that my parents would have a problem with it, it’s just not something we do. And the church I go to doesn’t celebrate these things either, so it’s entirely new to me. And I’ve been trying to figure out how to be able to celebrate some of these feast days (maybe on a smaller scale) while also still celebrating the holidays & doing the outreach events my church does without getting stressed out, as well as having to do everything from scratch myself. One way I’ve been starting to do this is by honoring the sabbath. I already to church on Saturday’s, just in the evening. So for me, sacrificing my Friday nights and Saturdays to rest has been a game changer. Not that I can’t do so with friends, but taking a break. A real break. Not just going to church and spending the rest of the day as normal, but really setting it apart. Watching Founded In Truth’s live-streams in the mornings the weeks I can, just helps even more so. This is totally long winded and probably doesn’t make any sense lol, but I absolutely adore what God has done setting these feast days, and I love watching other Christians want to follow these days he set for us. Thank you for encouraging me and inspiring me to want to dig deeper into what God has said & set aside for us, not just what our culture says. I appreciate you Ashleigh!!!

      Awesome to hear this from such a young person these days! My life has changed %100 since starting keeping Shabbat and holy days, as well as the dietary laws. It’s been almost 17 years now! None of these things were put there to burden us, they are blessings that literally set up apart in this dark world. Keep seeking Him and following His word, the Manual to Life!

    Thank you for this video. It is wonderful to see other Christians celebrate the Feasts.
    I live in a staunch Catholic area, but attend a Baptist Church in another town. I attend Passover and Pentecost at my church for the fellowship, being aware that they don't understand the feasts, but doing their best with the understanding they have. But for my own personal worship I follow the Jewish calendar.
    I have my own modified way of celebrating. Since Jesus has come and made the ultimate sacrifice, I don't slaughter goats, let alone bulls in my backyard. I contemplate on what Jesus did and what He is yet to do.
    It is so awesome that you celebrate the feasts as a congregation.

    I enjoyed the day of trumpets, will be fasting on the day of atonement and I'll be camping in Oklahoma on the feast of tabernacles that is hosted by Monte Judah this year. These holydays are more Christ centered than Saturnalia (A.K.A Christmas) and Eostre (A.K.A Easter).

    • @indigoblue4791
      @indigoblue4791 4 роки тому +1

      They may appear less Christ centred to You, not everyone feels that way, what a very insensitive and rude comment to make. You shouldn't feel the need to criticize or invalidate others religious celebrations simply because you prefer to celebrate others. I don't hear any Christians excited for Christmas and celebrating the birth of Christ in their own way, reflecting how much better they do it than another religious group. Then go on to say what's wrong with said other's celebration. That intolerance and lack of respect you've shown is incredibly unattractive in a person living in the 21st century!

    Hi, love your videos! Quick question: we've dabbled with learning to be Torah observant over that last year and just completed our first passover! We loved it! We're learning how to observe the Sabbath through trial and error. Main thing is...we're doing it and see the blessings of it! My question is: we belong to a Sunday service church (well, online right now. Lol!) I really do NOT want to leave this church as it's full of believers that my family loves. Any advice for going down the Torah observant road and still belonging to a Sunday service church? Also, have you done in videos on observing Sabbath. Like I said were very new to this and any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

    How do you reconcile the Jewish customs and traditions with the New Testament writing where the apostles tell the gentiles that they are not required to follow Jewish traditions in order to be obedient to God? I understand that you explicitly say in many of your videos that by faith alone we are saved (which I 100% agree with), but if you are not Jewish, why celebrate the days? Is it just because you enjoy them? Do you believe all Christians should be following these traditions as well? How do you pick and choose which OT law you follow? Just genuinely curious, no aggression or judgement intended!

    • @ashleighnicolewilson
      @ashleighnicolewilson  4 роки тому +5

      It is true that you do not need to follow Jewish tradition to be obedient, but Gods Torah is not the same thing as Jewish tradition. That is where so much confusion lies. The people to whom those letters were written would have understood the difference between Torah and Talmud, but we do not have the benefit of a culture where these nuances would be understood! As far as what commands we keep, we keep what we are able. Many commands only apply to priests, or farmers, or the temple. And we learn and grow with the grace God has given us through Messiah. My obedience comes from a heart that desires to follow my King. 💖

    • @ashleighnicolewilson
      @ashleighnicolewilson  4 роки тому +8

      And yes, I believe the blessings of obedience and the absolute JOY and richness of keeping Gods commands benefit ALL believers. But no one MUST do anything, salvation is in Christ alone. Obedience is simply the fruit of sanctification.
