Having trouble getting that sustain on a strat. Still a beginner to soloing so I could be the problem but I'm not sure. Anyone got any tips? Also, great video!
Sustain can depend on the instrument, but increasing the gain on your amp can also help. I would suggest using the neck pickup, quite a lot of gain on your amp/pedal, dialling back the tone knob on your guitar to 2 and add some reverb👌

Standard Tuning or Eb?

You should put it in your "Description" that you are tuned down 1/2 a step. "We" would get through your tutorial much easier. By the way. your presentation and tutorial is very impressive. No chatter, just play and follow the bouncing ball...other than the tuning.

I like Epiphone. Not everybody can pay $2000 + for a gibson, just because it says gibson on the headstock. Epiphones with a good setup and new pickups are great guitars.
