WE NEED MORE UA-cam VIDEOS! MORE GUITAR COVERS AND PLAY ALONGS WITH TUTORIALS!
I’ve never tried playing this song before. Maybe I will now
Hell yeah dude, it actually is very satisfying to play especially if you tune the guitar to the right tuning and get the small intricacies down
I'm pretty sure it was David that played the secret chord.
It also happened to please the Lord.
David? Like David Bowie? Lol
@@electricworkshop4462 I can't tell if you're joking or not, but on a serious note, fluffytoaster427 probably meant something that's related to King David of Israel. But if the quote is also a fictional pop culture reference based on King David, I don't know what it's referring to.
Don't they use a similar progression in Sweater Song by weezer
That’s an interesting point because both of those songs have similar key signatures. Especially the chorus. But in Undone- The Sweater Song, a D Dominant chord is used. All star uses a Diminished Db
great stuff, keep it on!!
I heard there was a secret chord
Sounds sick af!
So, x4x020 right?
Notes: C# + G + E = C#mb5
Could substitute well w a C#m7b5 (half-diminished chord), but yours is the 100% true chord, bro! Sounds amazing!
Sounds about right, after taking everything a half-step down
@@electricworkshop4462 Omg that's right! 🤦🏾♂️
I can recognize that jag from a mile away lol, what humbucker did you put in the bridge position?
Dude, tbh im not quite sure. I bought this jag from the guitar center used gear section. And i was able to get the Super Distortion that would normally would be there. If i had to take a guess, i’d say it’s 498T pickup. Has that gibson sound to it
@@electricworkshop4462 that's awesome, it sounds amazing too
rip, nice video man
Damn I wish I knew this a decade ago. I had a super pretentious friend that learned a Wiki article worth of music theory, and he was trying to show off this knowledge. I would've loved to tell him it was the Smash Mouth chord.
Haha!! The Smash Mouth chord. It’s a truly unique one, that I have never seen any other band ever, use
@@electricworkshop4462 I've never even seen the band XTC use it, though they've supposedly used diminished chords. If you want to check out some unusual chords, they're a band to hear. "Roads Girdle the Globe" is probably their most obvious cluster-chord jumble, but the album version seems a bit lower in energy compared to the BBC version.
Love this 🤘🏻
*Promo sm* 😚
How is this different then x45650?
The use of open strings gives a subtilely different quality to the sound of the chord, although, that one is very close as well
