There's lots of hand-waving about super-position and entanglement but no detail on how these properties are actually used to do the work. The click-bait title of this video is typical.

Sadly most people who are asking this question don't have the foundational education to understand the answer. It takes significant knowledge in statistics, matrix math, classical computer science, information theory, and physics to simply begin to understand the process. A true explanation to the untrained would be gibberish. Even with classical computing , most lay persons would struggle to explain for instance, how an operating system works with hardware to produce a result. The fact is you probably have no understanding of a great deal of systems from which you benefit and the reality is you don't need to understand them. Ultimately though it is not up to anyone but you if you truly wish to understand. One hint though, youtube is not always the best resource for advanced, multidisciplinary subjects.

Nobody is going to explain how a new technology actually works alot of videos on UA-cam are purposely confusing… This is theory based research they simply have not found a way to practically do what they think is possible… THE NAME quantum computing is inspired by the theory of quantum physics, simply binary computing without computing, all programs and instances are recognized, not processed. Which is possible, now how do you do this, and thats where we are, lol… Its simply not a thing yet but its development would be remarkable.
Too much hype and too too much much hope ... but, so far, Quantum Computer doesn't do any useful calculations/computations except generating random numbers ... undoubtedly it's good for generating random numbers when compared to the classical computers because, that's generally the way outcomes are observed in any quantum experiment.
