- Hello there, fellow model makers! Welcome to the first part of my Indian Air Force Mig-21 Bis build. In this edition I check out this Academy 1/48 scale Mig-21 MF kit and put together the resin cockpit. Hope you like it :)

I’m just finishing off the early version Academy Fishbed J MF if with the Aires cockpit, I agree about the work needed to fit it, I didn’t take enough out of the kit part for the front console to sit low enough, caused me a few problems with the windscreen fit... great looking build by the way. 👍
It seems your skill and patience are supreme, especially on the seatbelt assembly which i would have ended up screaming at it and throwing it in the bin! Great job so far 👍
Thanks John :)
Beautiful build
Thank you buddy :)
dunno if anyone gives a damn but if you are bored like me atm you can stream pretty much all the latest series on Instaflixxer. Been watching with my gf for the last few months =)
@Deacon Enoch Definitely, have been watching on instaflixxer for months myself :)
Fantastic.
Thanks mate :)
Very nice..i especially like what you did to the ejection seat
Thank you!
That's an awesome paint job!
Thank you Jorge :)
I’m with you on the belts and harness. Those things are a PITA!
Nice work!
Thanks!
Excellent job so far my friend really well detailed be watching progress stay safe 👍🙏
Thanks make. Stay safe as well :)
Nice! 👍
Thanks! 👍
Looked like a struggle but it’s a good build to show off your resourcefulness
Thanks David...apart from the resin parts, which I brought upon myself, the kit itself is pretty nice :)
I really enjoy your builds and get a lot out of them for my own builds. With this build you seam to be struggling with the extra resin and PE detail and may be not enjoying it so much? You have already built the excellent Eduard MIG 21 so I was wondering why you decided to build the Academy kit this time? I look forward to seeing how this build turns out and wish you all the best.
Hey Dan. Thank you for watching the videos. The thing was that on January 26th India celebrates its Republic Day. It is also a day when there is a military parade and all that. So, feeling particularly patriotic this year, I decided I must make the most iconic jet in the Indian Air Force. And so, the Academy Mig :)
I giggled when i saw the price tag, most likely you are based in SG and got your kit from Miniature Hobby Shop :-) nice build also!
Spot on...lol :)
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👍👍👍👍
Classic design from the U.S.S.R. By the way, are you Indian?
Yes Lucio, I am Indian...tho I live in Singapore now. Thank you for watching the videos. I hope you liked them.
@@scalemodellingmadness4114 love your work my friend 👏👏
I have a 1/48 Eduard Profi pack Mig 21 on the bench and the directions are horrible.
