Honda S2000 Crash at NJMP +

First time at New Jersey Motorsports Park, accidentally mis-shifted from 4th to 3rd and locked up the rear wheels entering turn 12. Spun out and hit the wall, causing some rear quarter damage. Luckily it wasn't too bad so we were able to get it fixed up for the next session. Went back out at set a new PB by almost 2 seconds!

Glad it wasn’t too bad of a crash. Get your shift done before turn in at 11 and go flat out taking in some curbing.

Glad it wasn't too bad. If you were looking you may have been able to steer away from the wall right before impact,but you were going backwards so not easy.

Thanks! So you think the play in the shifter is due to old shifter bushings or transmission/engine mounts?

@@FosterJohnsonMedia They are 100% mainly due to Engine and Transmission mounts.
I've had trouble shifting mid corner before I replaced my engine mounts with Megan Racing ones. My car had 66K miles and the mounts were toast.
