We are living in different time. Many homeless are suffering from drug addiction. To get many into treatment, citations and laws need to be enforced. Not doing so will turn many city's into DTLA Skid Row. In Skid Row laws are not enforced. You smoke drugs on public streets. You can act dangerously abnormal. You live shi?, trash and block the right away of the public streets. Individuals suffering from drug addiction can't work, so hundreds, thousands are looting in an unprecedented time in history.
Okay so either cite tickets to the homeless because clearly they can pay for it or send them to jail where taxpayers will just be paying for their free food and shelter. Got it! Sounds like a plan!
The State and Federal Govt helped to contribute to the drug problem, then theyre going to penalize its victims. Weird reciprocity.
What if they don't pay their fines? Room and board in jail?

Thank you, this is needed. Homeless people have always existed. But this is a growing people where homeless people don't respect the people who need to walk by their encampments because they set up shop right in the middle of downtown. When I was a kid growing up in the 80's 90's, homeless people actually slept away from mass public sectors. They chose to stay away out of people's way. Nowadays, I have to literally step over encampments on my way to work, work into human feces and smell the rank of sour urine just to get from point A to B or talk a walk in the neighborhood. It's gotten out of control where it's become a homeless free for all. Anyway who says this is outlawing homeless doesn't understand, it's ok to be homeless just don't take up the artery of busy walkways and intersections of our streets. There's some quaint areas out of the heart of downtown where you don't disturb people and they won't disturb you.
Don't work in Long ghetto for anything less than $60 an hour..

Maybe we should be fining the companies and industries that got us to this point in the first place. The ones that flooded our country with opiates, or the others that have destroyed our housing market and made it impossible for the working class to afford housing to begin with.
If the Country can solve the homeless problem , invite the Chinese people to find solution to this economical matter

while Employing More Guards & Building More Prisons for the "Old Boy Network" while Neglecting the ROOT CAUSES OF SOCIAL IMPOVERISHMENT ETC , builds a STRONG COMMUNITY ...

Haha it gets me every time let’s just do nothing because if we do something it just not going to work giving them tickets or arresting we’re going to make the problem worse we haven’t done nothing for the past 5 years and I don’t see the problem fixing itself this problem is no magicly is going to fix itself
