This is the second music video for UTA, the first being for "Dawn Of Ages", also from their 2011 album "Demons Of The AstroWaste". The album is a concept album which follows the exploits of a young mercenary as he adventures through space, whilst under the power of an incredibly old and evil sword.

I think the fascinating part of this video is that they didn't bump into another metal group filming in the woods.
They're metal bands not heathens. They go through the proper channels and rent out the area.

Nah, a general has got to be at least level 5, probably 10, and as a Fighter he'd have at least 18 Con. He can outrun some commoner.
That was my thought, platemail slows you down a lot, control your distance and attack the weak spots at least, under the arm is the best spot...just saying
@@toryfox4580 It's nearly impossible to win a duel against an equal opponent (sword vs sword) when they are wearing plate and you aren't. You have to hit a tiny gap, they just have to hit... you.
@@lordcirth oh I'm not saying it's easy but if you are quick and control the distance your odds are better than fighting him head on, when I've fought medieval style I avoid heavy armors because I'm quicker than I am strong, you never take a heavily armored enemy head on you fight him from a safe distance, forcing him to lunge at you, when his blade misses and he is over extended you strike, in the armpit, along his midriff where the plates join, behind the knee where the armor is only thin leather and maybe some chain etc...that way you at least have a chance
When you have to wear a jank-ass helmet because you blew all your gold on epic bards.

+Silvanus Aquila To be fair, those armors were fairly expensive. They were more a question of status than protection. This armor is pretty standard although the helm doesn't look good. Video games give them an unfair name, they look look badass but this is ia about right.

+Hugo Lalumiere Actually by the late middle ages this was fairly common armor among men at arms. As for it being about status? no, never was about status. A successful full time soldier could afford plate armor after a few years of service. Swords were about status because only knights could wear them publicly during peace time.
I see All of you blaming him for going for the exp, but think about it? How many of us hasn't gotten greedy and went for both the exp and loot, ended up dead because of it?

I am extremely disappointed that i only heard of Unleash the Archers recently and not when they released their first album cause this music is insanely therapeutic. Can't go a day without listening to one of your songs. Please keep on making amazing music.

a lot of jokes, for the helmet, for the story... but I think that song is different , starting with solo, then we got very beautiful vocal and screaming back vocals , cool breakdowns and again cute vocal . of all the avarage metal that i have listened.. this one caught my attention and is .. This song is so... symphonic. It's an orchestral movement. So many pieces. And you anticipate them. I'm here rocking out to every transition. Pumping fist at the end riff of every verse. Waiting for every timing. Chanting along with the shouts. Just ready for every transition. It's an experience. Just a classic rocker. Wish they'd played it on their last tour -- I don't know how it's not their eternal encore track. It so just owns everyone and everything. It just conquers. It slashes for the heart and feels good inside.

It is such a blessing that this band has made it this far on their own, without the (help) of a record label. At this point, the worst thing they could do is sign a deal with a label. They have gained enough exposure on their own, with good old fashioned HARD WORK. Now with digital distribution, the labels can't do anything for you that you can't already do for yourself. Stay independent UTA!
That's what the project hate did on their last 2 albums. All fan funded and recorded only to be digitally released. From what I understand the album did really well

Very refreshing to hear a female singer that can actually belt, and not rely on super high-notes they sometimes hit, or the 'damaged goods screaming' routine. Don't know how I missed you guys for so long, but I'm a fan now!
My band opened for UTA a few years ago (they actually requested us specifically for an opening band, which was super cool; We were very surprised & honoured) and it was an incredible show, and a crazy-fun night in general. Very talented band and Fun to drink & party with! I still have a ticket stub from that show in my Collection.

this guy gets it, my first instinct when facing a man in heavy armor is always not to outrun him and to instead fight him at a disadvantage as well.
Everything about this band kicks ass. Musically flawless, astounding vocal performance, and she's hot to boot! Doesnt have to be scantily clad to attract my attention. Hopefully they hit the Boston area someday, I'd stand in line in a blizzard to see these guys!

This is what really got me into UtA. I always come back to it. I will admit after my show got cancelled, I was devastated, and didn't listen to the group for a while. But this is my favorite band of all time, which had Rush at the top. I will always come back to you UtA. Thank you.
