The guitar solos are pure adrenaline. And the piano outro..... OMG! Amazing!! I love this song so much. I love her and her voice and all the band's music. This music rules, other than it being one of the best "All Stars" metal bands ever pieced together. But I like the message and underlying feel the most, and they deliver it well. I also talked to Sharlee D'Angelo after a Mercyful Fate show for a few minutes, and he seemed very friendly and happy.
I wish I could go back and hear this song for the first time. I must have listened to it twenty times in a row when I discovered it. It's still great now! But hearing it for the first time was pure ecstasy.

arch enemy did that thing so many bands do, where their first few albums are really good, then they get better and more popular so they decide to do more "mainstream" friendly muzak. anyone new to Arch Enemy needs to check out albums stigmata with 1st singer, or wages of sin with their awesome (female death metal) 2nd singer.
I think that it's your opinion. I loved albums with Angela Gossow, especially Wages of Sin. I didn't loved very much albums with Johan Livaa. And I found War Eternal, Deceivers, and Will To Power exceptionnal, especially War Eternal. The fact that they use clean vocals is the sign that their music us constantly evolving. They don't make exactly the same as they did 20 years ago and that's why it is interesting. But if you prefer their firsts albums, it's totally legit 😄

Turning 50 in 2018, I'm surprised to find myself drawn to the clean, refreshing vocal and amazingly skilled musicians. The video is beautiful and I love the lead singer's fashion style. Great ensemble! My husband loves metal and I only accepted it because I love him. Yet, recently when I needed a natural release/fix that exercise alone can't achieve, my husband and another friend recommended I try listening to Arch Enemy. Only after I was introduced to this song/video, I was sold to metal. It has given me a renewed respect and another powerful tool to release my inner tensions and raw feelings through art and music, which have always helped me get through difficulties and traumas. Gina Kaulbach, do you like metal in general or only the style that Arch Enemy creates? If you like metal in general I suggest you try out Sonata Arctica, Nightwish, Blackbriar, Delain and Serenity. Al different ratings of power but all good. :)
