Who the hell keeps their archers leashed in the first place? What would be the point in that? I mean, do they even have their bows and arrows with them while they're leashed or do you have to, in fact, both unleash the archers and also unlock the cabinets within which their weapons have been stored? But surely if you kept all your archers leashed, they're not going to best pleased. Then when you do unleash them all, whose to say that they're not going to have a pop at you for leashing them up? This is such a well shot music video. It totally does justice to how magnificent the song is. UTA are incredibly talented on every level. Every band member more than holds their own, and the songwriting/arrangement just keep getting better and better with each album. Best metal band of the last decade imo.

This is metal. This girl is singing it like a metal singer. The videos before this one, the female leads were singing "extreme pop"..like Amy what's her name from Evanescence...Amy Lee. This is metal. Her leads sound great!
Well, it's a good thing Amy never claimed to be metal. It's fans and other ignorant people who dubbed them as metal. According to Amy, Ev is a rock band, not a mtal band.
+Tiffany Enssle Extreme pop-rock. I'm sure Amy is one of your best buds and she appreciates you speaking up for her, though my comment wasn't in the least, malicious. I concur Evenessence most certainly was not metal. So...what's your point? LOL. We're both saying they aren't metal. STFU.
+Tricia Starrr I have just as much right to speak as you do, honey. So, if you are going to be rude, why don't you take your own advice? I was mearly stating that people often categorize bands or artists wrong. This whole rock/metal elitism is bullshit.
+Tiffany Enssle You initiate the negative conversation with a sarcastic response to my post, then you get offended when I don't play nice. Don't start anything, there won't be anything. I still say STFUF. You started it. Think before you speak.
+Tricia Starrr I was speaking of other fans etc. Maybe my first statement came across as sarcastic , but you turned it negative by telling me to STFU. I guess I inadvertently offended you, but did you ever hear two wrongs don't make a right or about being the bigger person? I know this is only a youtube comment section, but I guess I'll take that role and take my leave. Sorry. Bye.

Unleash the Archers is what happens when you find out that everyone in your D&D group is a) really, really into Power Metal & b) really, really GOOD...
This song is literally my anthem when I'm depressed and want to give up and I love it so much ❤ I hope this band knows how much they've touched even one person... This and awaken bring me so much feeling when I feel like I can't feel anything.. thank you guys so much ❤
On top of the fact that Britt is an absolute goddess, that breakdown at the end from 4:55 onward is one of the gnarliest riffs and vocals I’ve ever heard. I often put this song back on and just loop that part over and over while head-banging.
I usually quite dislike songs with growling, it's just not my thing but in this song they are perfectly placed. I can't say I like a lot of their songs (since growls arent really my thing) but this one really stands out. It's epic, badass, really awesome work by band. Been headbanging and singing along to it for days now and there's no sign of stopping soon XD
cfbigmac1 yep, they use growls quite well, this song really stands out for me though xd Another band whose growls I enjoyed is "brezno", they use them perfectly in nearly every song, since they make it connected to the lyrics. Apart from "brezno" and this band, there's barely any songs with growl vocals that I would enjoy
MetalAlchemist8105 Too bad they switched to prog rock and he doesn't growl any longer. They used to be one of my favorite bands. I can't stand the last two albums. Bleh.
Gogz Thunder That's so bad, I liked the prog rock damnation, but I didn't even listen the last album when i found out the direction they were heading, I kinda miss songs like the night and the silent water or ghost of perdition, hope one day they return to basics
I wasn't expecting much in the way of vocals thinking it was going to be some more talentless operatic style singing like in most female fronted metal bands. But, this was awesome! Great voice and musicians. Reminds me of Helloween, sort of. :)
+griffinmatter I assume you are refering to the nowadays female-lead metal bands, that sometimes are even straight forward copies of older ones, ain't right? Anyway, yeah... I gotta say I feel the same. It was a freaking nice surprise when I first heard them. They remind me of many other "classic" heavy metal bands too.
***** Yeah... that's how the industry works, my friend. Some places more, some places less, but at the end of the day no genre is really saved. Sooner or later, that way to do things reaches.
+griffinmatter When you say terrible you better not be refering to Halestorm, Evanescence, Otep, In this Moment, Flyleaf, or Within Temptation. If so get your hearing checked, because you must have too much shit in your ears.
Just returning here after 5 years since discovering this unbelievable band with this video and it still hits just as hard. And they only get better with each album. I've yet to see them live, I was supposed to do so last week with Dragonforce, but fkn' Covid had other plans.

I listen to this song several times a day. I suffer from pretty crippling depression and don't really find joy in anything anymore. It breaks my heart when I pick up my Bass or Guitar and have no passion to play. This song no this band has been one of the few things I've still loved. I don't remember hearing another song that hit me quite as much as this one since I first heard Metallica's Master of Puppets when I was a kid. \,,/

I don't mind man. Anything to help u out, hopefully stuff gets better. I draw so I understand how emotions mess things up sometime s, I had crippling depression. Great power metal!!! I wish America embraced metal like Europe does. I'd love to turn on radio and hear it not suck because bands like this were on it.
The most metal bands we ever hear on the radio on the west cost of NA is 5 Finger Death Punch or Avenged Sevenfold, And even then, you'd never hear them on the mainstream stations. The only 2 rock songs I've heard play on the radio at work in past two months were Nirvana's Smells like Teen Spirit and the Foo Fighter's - The Pretender. Those were probably the best 8 minutes at work in the past 2 months....

im with ya man some of these kids are kicking ass
Been a fan of UTA for a long time and fuck I'm so happy to see this band getting the recognition they so rightfully deserve. Last time I watched this video it sat around 100,000 views and now it's above 3 million.
J Daniels just stumbled across this band, there are no words... just regret I didn't encounter this band before! Especially since I'm Canadian!!!!
yeah I just discoverd two canidian bands "Unleash the Archers" and "Crimson Shadows" , both very good bands^^
So you know when you normally don't like a certain style of metal... but then you just hear an all powerful voice that sends chills all throughout your body? Yea.... amazing voice...
it’s not so much genre but what you describe
one of the most beautiful metal pieces I've heard in the last 10 years.
By all the Gods, This is absolutely breathtaking! By far one of the most amazing songs I've heard in a long while!
My god, such pipes, this woman. Yes!
EDM364 Very speed
Metal needs more women like her!
agree!!
i wanna be like her
production? bullshit, watch her live
Seen them live. Not studio trickery.
I lost the count the times I'm watching this masterpiece
+M Morais
I think I'm up to 20 in a week!
Omg lol. I think I beat you
Love this. Play it all the time. I would love to see them live!
Man they rock!! I may be 65 years old but I know a good metal band when I hear one and boy, can they rock. She has a beautiful voice. I discovered them on Pandora by accident when I was surfing. Been hooked since. ❤
This band always is the inspiration to get me through whatever life throws at me...these are my battlecries through this war called living. Thank you guys for giving me this awesome music to get through each and everyday
Firts time listening female power metal ..... it's so amazing
Welcome
Update us. What other female metal vocalists have you got to experience?
Ah, what about Elisa Martin's Dark Moor ? 😊
Power metal is just amazing regardless of who is singing my dude.
@@OVELLIX Tsk. Thats not the same style. Metal yes - power metal - no.
Honestly this song, still has the motivational feel it gives to me after 4 years. It's *chef's kiss*
This is such a well shot music video. It totally does justice to how magnificent the song is. UTA are incredibly talented on every level. Every band member more than holds their own, and the songwriting/arrangement just keep getting better and better with each album. Best metal band of the last decade imo.
her voice is so powerful it shook the foundations of my house!
I just discovered this band 20 minutes ago and now I'm scared about how much I like them in such a short amount of time, woah
+Justin Laidlaw This sums up my current experience quite succinctly.
Mad Max the Musical
+JediLeeRon Jajajajajajajaja
Good Musical. \m/
I was thinking maybe they got a discount on 2pac's California Love props
i was thinking the exact same thing LOL. did they get the rides from mad max left overs?
this is the music that they should have played in the thunderdome
THE OCTIVE RANGE ON THE VOCALIST, HOLY SHIT!!!!
Well she doesn’t go low does she?
@@joshp6061 there are a couple of spots in this song where she does.
@@jeffrielly anyway what’s way more impressive is her ability to hold and shift notes at extremely high keys, for like the whole song
@@joshp6061 Her vocal range is VERY wide
She has a range from C#3 (which is the C# an octave below middle C) to D6 (which is the D two octaves above middle C).
She's belting the highs. That's the impressive part.
[Verse 1]
Hold on to this moment for all time, this is the night we ride
I hear them calling our name
Raising the flag and fueling the flame
[Pre-Chorus]
I’ll find my destination; don’t tell me where to go
I won’t give in this time, feel the power
Not this time, scream it louder
[Chorus]
Voyage o’er the mountains and wastelands
Far beyond the sea lies fortune
No regrets, just live for the fight
Renounce your precious lives and ride
Take hold of your steel chariot; though ours is gone, lives on
Rise to the challenge or fall
Nothing will hinder our rise to the call
[Pre-Chorus]
We’ll find our destination, can’t tell us where to go
We won’t give in this time, feed the hunger
Not this time, growing stronger
[Chorus]
Voyage o’er the mountains and wastelands
Far beyond the sea lies fortune
(We’ll find our destination; let’s go)
[Chorus]
Voyage o’er the mountains and wastelands
Far beyond the sea lies fortune
[Outro]
Fly, redeem tonight
Destroy, renounce your precious lives and ride
Thanks for posting man. Appreciate it.
Gentleman, scholar, etc.
After all these years i can finally understand what she says, thank you man !
Everytime she says the first part i hear bob esponja
It's good to see that the guy who directed Tupac's "California Love" found work again.
Harv72b Nice👌
Harv72b are you shitting me?
haha
George Miller?
Ha ha, that's exactly what this video reminded me of when I first saw it! Either that or Mad Max.
Sorry. Bye.

0:50 the Gods of Power metal are smiling in approval!
I just stumbled upon this band a few hours ago on Spotify and I am seriously loving every second. You guys rock
Unleash the Archers is what happens when you find out that everyone in your D&D group is a) really, really into Power Metal & b) really, really GOOD...
That's a great group to be with!
Mystic shroud
She strikes like thunder, electrifing my soul every time she sings.
My vocal chords are starting to hurt just listening to this song. Incredible talent!
I can definitely see why she is the vocalist! Those pipes!!!
& she knows the words ! lol
This song is literally my anthem when I'm depressed and want to give up and I love it so much ❤
I hope this band knows how much they've touched even one person... This and awaken bring me so much feeling when I feel like I can't feel anything.. thank you guys so much ❤
Please, Pay Attention, Unleash of Archers will be the Savior of Heavy Metal in the World!!!! Great hug... Leo Barzi
(from Brazil)
1:20 - Damn! She's got some vocals!!!
They look like they were having so much fun filming this video and playing that song. Wholesome content 🥲🖤
People coom about singers' vocal range, but something often overlooked is raw power and this chick's got it in spades.
Been headbanging and singing along to it for days now and there's no sign of stopping soon XD
blazejecar I thought the same thing, growls are usually a turn off for me. But this song, this band for that matter, uses them well.
cfbigmac1 yep, they use growls quite well, this song really stands out for me though xd Another band whose growls I enjoyed is "brezno", they use them perfectly in nearly every song, since they make it connected to the lyrics. Apart from "brezno" and this band, there's barely any songs with growl vocals that I would enjoy
blazejecar I too dislike growls with the exception of the one and only Opeth
MetalAlchemist8105 Too bad they switched to prog rock and he doesn't growl any longer. They used to be one of my favorite bands. I can't stand the last two albums. Bleh.
Gogz Thunder That's so bad, I liked the prog rock damnation, but I didn't even listen the last album when i found out the direction they were heading, I kinda miss songs like the night and the silent water or ghost of perdition, hope one day they return to basics
Damn. Her pipes are wicked.
Connor Quintana not how I would have worded it but yes, they are
The Turtle Lord My thoughts exactly.
Been a LONG time since I've heard a band and immediately wanted to buy their entire catalog! EPIC does not aptly describe her voice!!
Thanks Guys for bringing metal to America since America doesn't do metal anymore. The metal heads of America appreciate great bands like you!
They are Canadian
I wasn't expecting much in the way of vocals thinking it was going to be some more talentless operatic style singing like in most female fronted metal bands. But, this was awesome! Great voice and musicians. Reminds me of Helloween, sort of. :)
+griffinmatter I assume you are refering to the nowadays female-lead metal bands, that sometimes are even straight forward copies of older ones, ain't right?
Anyway, yeah... I gotta say I feel the same. It was a freaking nice surprise when I first heard them. They remind me of many other "classic" heavy metal bands too.
DrakosLord Exactly. I've checked out so many female fronted bands, and most are terrible. Nothing really exciting to offer except their looks. :)
+griffinmatter Also don't forget Eluveitie. Most of these bands have topped the charts with one or more songs, beating mainstream bands.
Just returning here after 5 years since discovering this unbelievable band with this video and it still hits just as hard. And they only get better with each album. I've yet to see them live, I was supposed to do so last week with Dragonforce, but fkn' Covid had other plans.
5:35 whats the name of that song pls ?
FUCK this band is so damm good. Why on earth are they not more exposed the composition, the technique, the insane vocals are seriously God tier wtf.
Help them out and post it on ur Facebook
Because at least in America the only thing they promote anymore is crossover billboard type music and rap
@@biffbutkus8185 FACTS so damn sad
In the 80’s they would’ve been massive. Who cares though. Huge fanbases are overrated
The guitars, all the instrumental, the voices, her voice is spectacular...
are totally powerfull, but specially the guitars is that really amazes me.
My honest first reaction to this song was to laugh with joy for 5 minutes straight. Bravo.
Hands down and without question the greatest band ever in the history of recording
What a lovely song,what a lovely song!!!
Shiny and Chrome!!!
this song still gives me chills to this day i will forever love this song
Fuck me, mate. 4 years later and her voice still gives me the chills. Perfection.
them pipes, sounds like a trumpet of absolute epicness.
I’d love to see Unleash The Archers on tour with bands like Arch Enemy, Epica, Hammerfall, Nightwish, Powerwolf, Sabaton, Within Temptation, etc.
Her vocals are EVERYTHING!
0:50 when you step on a lego brick
hahahahahahahaha
I don't get it iv walked on Legos it was just a mild discomfort
If i could power wail with such intensity after stepping on Lego then I would want my floors to be made of lego
Holy shit, I am still laughing at this comment.
So waaaaaaaaAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaing true. Minus the expletives.

Civil War - Bay of Pigs
I listen to this song several times a day. I suffer from pretty crippling depression and don't really find joy in anything anymore. It breaks my heart when I pick up my Bass or Guitar and have no passion to play. This song no this band has been one of the few things I've still loved. I don't remember hearing another song that hit me quite as much as this one since I first heard Metallica's Master of Puppets when I was a kid. \,,/
Alntaro Bloodmoon I really hope you’re doing better. I’m in that place now and it crushes me hearing when someone else experiences the feeling.
Depression is a sucky thing man, it actually took my tag team partner & little brother Korey from me. He was into music too. But if I can help in anyway. Whether it's to talk or just listen. I don't mind man. Anything to help u out, hopefully stuff gets better. I draw so I understand how emotions mess things up sometime s, I had crippling depression. I overcame it by trusting my Lord & savior Jesus & the postive ppl around me. Actually, I love this sort of music, as u can tell by my pro pic which is a mini anine me drawing of me. Stay strong thou buddy, I challenge u to keep doing what u love, that's music.
Hope it has gotten better for you and that you've found your passion again.
I know it's not much, but I hope you get better soon!
I feel this on a personal level
My heart goes out 2 u
Brittney Hayes = Legendary singer in Metal!
The notes she can hit are insane!

Great power metal!!! I wish America embraced metal like Europe does. I'd love to turn on radio and hear it not suck because bands like this were on it.
i wish we do too
steve arbogast plenty of Americans are into metal
Jericho Freman Not like this tho
King Grimlock what do you mean
The most metal bands we ever hear on the radio on the west cost of NA is 5 Finger Death Punch or Avenged Sevenfold, And even then, you'd never hear them on the mainstream stations. The only 2 rock songs I've heard play on the radio at work in past two months were Nirvana's Smells like Teen Spirit and the Foo Fighter's - The Pretender. Those were probably the best 8 minutes at work in the past 2 months....
Seriously how am I just discovering this band?!
The power and range in Brittney's voice is just mesmerizing.

Man this sounds so good in the car.
Especially the double kick drum
