The quick key in pro tools for marker jumping is: NUMPAD ONLY .(marker #). 0 = play 1 and 2 = scrub forward and back 3 = record 6 to enable punch record There’s also a quick key to pull up the window that shows which marker # = which label BONUS TIP: Shift + Space = halftime playback
I think every lead vocal on the first album I mixed had that preset more or less on it. Funny - and validating - to see pros do the same exact thing to start their mix.
I think people are shy about using the plugin because it feels like cheating, it's just that easy to get a good sound from it! We like to make things harder for ourselves haha

I use the CLA Vocals on every single lead vocal. Including this one! Happy to hear Sean feels the same
I preferred the CLA Vocal plugin over the other processing.
Great info. Thanks guys. Great to see different approaches. I'm lost on the mix window for shaping tracks. Will use it for my initial balance though.
Is it ironic that the audio on this video is clipping heavily?
CLA Vocals with "Start me up". Really? xD That's crazy!

CLA over Izotope?
Are the CLA vocal's applied directly on to the vocal channel itself, or is it applied on to a group channel?
