Often times they also tell artists to speak higher or lower to achieve that I meme effect. Disney is a great example. An I meme is kind of like this .... You don't have to have someone tell you and spread through word on the internet that Patrick is humble. You can see it for yourself . And 99% of others see the same. Thus, a personal image is born without anyone having to force it
Here's another example that I'm sure all fob fans will be familiar with. So the song titles from the older albums. Let's use grand theft Autumn as an example... Back in the late 90s early 2000s the net was slow , and didn't have this giant archive of music like they do today . Often times when someone wanted to tell another person about the song (especially if it's new and cutting edge, which fob was at that time) If they didn't know the actual song title, they would usually call it the name or popular lyrics from the chorus. Radio play was more common back then . Someone would be very likely to have also heard the chorus, but not know the name (they didn't announce titles or have a digital label for every track back then) So grand theft Autumn (where is your boy) became a popular I meme . People could associate what that was without ever having to read it somewhere else . All the parentheses titles are "i-memes" Something spread through the internet alone is called an e-meme. It's just stuff we've learned from mental association and psychology. Back then people might not know what "sugar" meant . But sugar (were going down) let people back then associate the words they heard on radio or MTV with the actual song. medium.com/@MichaelMcBride/why-the-us-government-spent-millions-weaponizing-memes-a894cec5a2d2
yung menace lol, no. Patrick hasn't been playing nearly as long as Joe, Joe is more technically advanced and a far better soloist, thus Patrick is rhythm
Patrick: "I never liked three pickup guitars." Gretch: "we want to build you a guitar with three pickups." Patrick: "eh. No thanks" Gretch: 💰💰💰 Patrick: "I love three pickup guitars by Gretch😉

I find it totally out classes it in tone for have the price. The only thing I would have preferred on it is a whammy and a bolt on neck, but its totally big time super sick.

I remember talking with him when he was doing his solo album. Asked if Gretsch would ever put this white version out. He said, we'll see how the record does. Then maybe they'll do it. I guess it took FOB having a hit album for them to realize it should be a white production model :)

I have a Stumpomatic guitar which is a bit ironic because I had to come to youtube to hear his music and find out who he was! I like the guitar a lot except having all the switches and knobs in one place is a bit difficult because I have huge hands, ah, se la vie!
I literally JUST bought the silver/black today. It was incredibly hard to find as it's out of production. Now they announce the guitar that I've wanted since 2011...this is a real FUCK MY LIFE moment right here. Time to save up another $805...
hey Gretsch, whatever is holding up production on this, can you guys hurry it somehow??? I ordered one back in DECEMBER and the last time i emailed the relations department they informed me I won't get it until September at the earliest! A 9 month wait isn't cool, especially being my first buying experience with you guys! -.-
I honestly want like 15 minutes worth of audio of just Patrick fucking around with a guitar.
same
Sam Burton I agree

I always focus so much on his voice that I forget how many instruments he can play.
Sooo Trueeee
guess his voice is the best instrument.
There's a reason why they searched for singers who sounded like Patrick and brendon .
Disney does the same thing with girl actors

He can play like 15 instruments
He can also sing and play drums at the same time!
i honestly can't even choose which is more attractive the guitar or patrick
both. both. both is good.
Raquel Duron the guitar.
i never noticed how calming his voice truly is until i watched this video for the first time. the way he speaks is so calming and relaxing

Its funny that we see Patrick play his guitar all the time and yet we don't have a video of Pete playing his signature bass.
Pete's bass is a Squier so is unfortunately overlooked in comparison to other brands:/
Connor Minter
That has nothing to do with the fact that we never see him play.
Cora Hale
Pete: JMLk3f5ANok
Joe: NaU_kn0qLas
RiotOf TheWolves
We still didn't see Pete actually PLAY his bass in that video.
Cora Hale To be fair, I'm not sure he CAN play his bass :P

I love Patrick so much. Such an awesome guy.
The video that he plays a guitar with 3 humbuckers is Dance Dance. He plays a Custom Epiphone G-400 with a Maestro :)
I like those pickups very much : they sound so close to single coils and yet to humbuckers at the same time too !
God damn fedora gets me every time And I NEED THIS GUITAR
I just bought one of these. It just took a few minutes to sell me on the tone of this babe and I haven't put it down since. The Strat has been left dormant. The 3 pickup guitar he’s talking about is that white SG

I love You fall out boy the grup fall out boy i love You
1:35 "a lot of our early stuff has very heavy kinda distortion...chuggy...metal..." but the vid then shows Sugar We're Goin Down LOL
How is he making that sound with the kill switch, I'm really confused. It's a really beautiful guitar though.
He's fretting the note then killing the sound on and off, creating the beat you're hearing.
Just got a white Stump O Matic! :D
I'm crying because it sounds like he's saying my name. Why am I crying????
Or how the beginning was Saturday's bridge?
I love this king😘
what is the song that patrick is playing at the begining of the video? (if this is actually a song or just an impro)
It's the riff of "Saturday" off of Take This To Your Grave

Atleast he got soul voice
he's so cute omg
Is this the same model as his old one just different colour?
