Matt Yonkin does crazy aerobatics with his full scale D18. I got to see him in person at the 2019 AirVenture, both Day and Night. Currently its in a Red and Black scheme, where previously it was in a WWII Navy color combination. He has hinted that Horizon has a special edition coming out, and either scheme would be cool. Even if he doesn't you'd only be some rattle can paint and Callie Graphics away from duplicating one of them. It's particularly cool at night with fire coming out of the exhausts. I'm glad it's 4S, which I've set as a personal electric limit.
Air venture is Better vacation that I can ever think of.. camping great humans, poor people, rich people, we all come together over awesome food and yes will be there in July. I'm only 5 hr drive away. Take care
It was suggested to me after purchasing one , to put low bounce tires on it . Apparently the there is no suspension to cushion the landings . What are your thoughts & suggestions ?
I was just getting ready to pause the video and type in my question, “How do you work the differential motor speeds?” when you showed how you do it. Good job. Looks like this just might be my next airplane. (but, first I ought to fly my Opterra at least once before I buy another airplane)
Keep Up the great work. I just got brand new floats for my sport cup s2 and I'm so exited to use it this summer but I have been flying it from the snow!
Nope. The tail spin plane was a seaplane and had double tail booms. It's a fictional aircraft called Conwing L-16 in the series, and it's a creation made by combining a Fairchild C-82 transport and a Grumman HU-16 Amphibian plane.
SWEET flight Nate! LOVE the Beechcraft twin!! How come you can fly this plane low AND INVERTED but yet NO inverted SHOW PASS?! GREAT DRONE action ABBY!! Thanks Saylors!! 💟👍😘
On another channel, someone said that it lands rather roughly since it has no suspension on the wheels. Something that other planes in this size/scale would have. How does it lands for you? Would suspension help it much? Also on another channel, it was said that this is not beginner/trainer plane. Do you agree? Tom Sisson
I've been gone from RC for about 4 years. I've been watching quite a few of your latest videos and really enjoying how RC products have evolved since my absence from the hobby. First step is going to update my radio, battery charger, and batteries. I once was a glow fuel guy, but I'm going electric this time around. Are you still happy with the NX6? I'm leaning toward the NX8 because it seems more bang for the buck. Have you reviewed any of the G2 Spektrum chargers? I would love to hear your thoughts on these chargers and G2 batteries. I have in the past flown sailplanes and wondered if you have utilized the Vario telemetry on a NX transmitter? I have enjoyed watching and hearing about all the products your channel reviews. To show my appreciation, I joined as a member. Also, congrats to you both for a growing family. Thanks again for all your hard work that goes into your videos.
You'll def want the NX8 for the extra channels. You'll be running flaps & retracts. I don't know if safe select was around before you quit… But you'll like safe select if only for maiden flights on fast or twitchy aircraft. Safe is cool to have! Sometimes it smokes my brain getting safe, AS3X & flaps working on some planes, but it's worth it snd inevitably I learn And it gets easier
Nate could you help I have the 1/24 Bigfoot do you know the pins behind the tires when you take the tires off could you order them? Because I need some more I lost 2 of mine
There's a clever flyer on here that does that. He talks way too fast but shows the controller in a small box in corner of screen. Totally pointless, you can't look at 2 things at once. As John Wayne said "yer hear how fast I'm talking? That's how fast I'm listening" & " yer can say again slowly, or say it again 6 times"
Does anyone know how to fix your plane when all of steering for a plane in inverted? I just got myself a FMS beaver with fly sky i6x, all of the steering is reverse with the remote
Not familiar with the i6x, however in the servo settings of most computer transmitters, there is an option to reverse the desired servo . All channels should be able to be reversed from the transmitter.
I have been watchig your vids flying this beech 18 ! question your ability and knowledge. You fly this at "super sonic" ...not as a B18 was designed. BTW..I have flown R/C since the days of 26 and 72 AM days...IE late 60 and 70+. You would have have had problems in that time frame, when we had none of the fancy help offered today. B18 were NEVER ment to fly as you fly it. Oh yes...i also flew B18B's on the full size version. Why dont you try flying on w/o all the "help" in modern radios....and fly it as designes.

That is a COOL plane! Hope Mama and baby Saylor are well
The classic twin tail Beechcraft airplanes are some of my favorites. This is definitely on my wish list.
Absolutely the best looking airplane you've ever reviewed.
Hey Abby, luv ur commentary and that cute chuckle. U go girl !!!
Thanks so much for watching! 😁❤️⚓️
These birds are great. I'd love to see a drone follow cam more often too 🙂
Played in slow motion this look real, it deserves the dambusters theme tune.
Beautiful plane, Really good flight. Man, how I miss it.
That’s probably one of the smoothest flying planes I’ve seen in awhile
I have this plane myself!! Flies like a dream for me too! Very robust!

I Seen Live at Oshkosh in July 22 . Just amazing and ya must make it to Oshkosh

Love the drone chase video segments. Well flown!
Abby and Nate y'all rock! Hope Daniel is doing great and is letting y'all sleep a little bit! Peace
Knowing when to stop is the real challenge! Successful mission! Awesome! #stayepic
Would love to see a lancaster, if they ever bring one out.
Test your skills and do an engine out down to landing!
Great job Guys!
This plane would be a great one to rig up to drop one of those army parachute guys - that would be something to see.
Great idea! I'd love that! It's geeky as hell but whatever! It would be awesome if Nate would show us a good plane for dropping things like that!
ua-cam.com/video/DP0bC7J6WYk/v-deo.html
I've got to do this! I've got an extra servo too. This guy has a super simple example of how to set it up.
This thing is SLICK👍💯
You must have had this one in the bank before the baby! I hope all 4 of you are at home adjusting nicely!
Lol yeah you are right! Tried our best to get some videos banked just for this time of no sleep, haha 😂😅 😴 ⚓️

Same Plane Type in the movie mad mad world.
Great plane beautiful, radical flight dynamics. Loved the video ! 🛫🙏😇

Holy cow that was a slow pass with full flaps!
Thanks for the awesome content . You both are entertaining . I don't even have a RC plan. 🤟🏾
Old school plane with hipster moves. You asked it did- boom 💥. Good flying daredevil Nate. Short, but good dronie footage Abby. ⚓⚓👍💚💛💜👍⚓⚓.
That is the real talespin airplane yellow with those Red pontoon
Nope. The tail spin plane was a seaplane and had double tail booms. It's a fictional aircraft called Conwing L-16 in the series, and it's a creation made by combining a Fairchild C-82 transport and a Grumman HU-16 Amphibian plane.
Enjoy your videos.
Sounds great. It's impressive 👍👍👍
Always love getting to fly this thing! 👍😁😎⚓️
素晴らしい飛行技術です👍👏
I got this and its my favorite to fly.. it flis smoothly and lands jut amazing.. its one of the easiest bigger planes to fly
amazing
Lovely airplane and the great camera work bears more than a passing mention. 👍👍👏👏👏👏
Love the Beech 18 in general aviation. I will be pushing that buy button when I get my tax return this year. Looking forward to summer flying.
Very nice, thank you !
That's a nice looking bird.
Could you put your gps speed sensor on it to see how fast it flies,????????
SWEET flight Nate! LOVE the Beechcraft twin!! How come you can fly this plane low AND INVERTED but yet NO inverted SHOW PASS?! GREAT DRONE action ABBY!! Thanks Saylors!! 💟👍😘
Love the Beechcraft
Nice flying Nate 👍🏻✌🏻
You guys remind me of my wife and i except we don't film it.
Sweet plane
The actual Beech D18 was known to have been on floats in some variants
Superbe. Démonstration.

Very stinkin' cool
really???
Hello there❤
how many channels is the plane? i only have a 6 channel transmitter and this going to be my first plane with retracts so i hope it’s only 6ch. Thanks!
Query: With two electric engines, can you reverse one to counter torque? Just curious...
Nice vids 😊
What material is it made with
I would buy using the like if I had info on the material
Epo foam
You are the best
Awesome looking cool plane 😎 👍 nice looking sky too. You guys make flying look easy and it's not.

Found the video on the G2 Chargers and batteries. I will be utilizing your link to order.

@@HciContractor Thanks for your reply. It's nice to be excited about the hobby again.
Go Go Bird Eagle is fun. please try to fly
Nate could you help I have the 1/24 Bigfoot do you know the pins behind the tires when you take the tires off could you order them? Because I need some more I lost 2 of mine
Talking about the Max Smasher? Seen a video where he cut those off and glued magnets - said it's tricky because of how it flairs out but might help.
That's called a pilot induced oscillation or porpoising
Maybe show the controller when you do them meunevers, teach us as well as u have learned obviously?
There's a clever flyer on here that does that. He talks way too fast but shows the controller in a small box in corner of screen. Totally pointless, you can't look at 2 things at once. @@theoztreecrasher2647 a day without learning ! Carry on :-)

I have a buddy that flies a real D18 on floats
Cool
This thing looks fun to fly!
yeah..if you operate it as designed.
Does Abby skate? I heard her mention a triple-toe at 6:20. My wife skates too! Small world 🌎
You can buy an rc plane that it drops fake bombs

Now we just need a 1200mm Staggerwing enlarged from the old fms 1100mm one and a Starship canard 6 channel twin pusher
