Thank you for NOT attempting an inverted show pass! Pretty plane & I've been considering my next plane should be either a biplane or multi engine,I would be Thrilled if this were my newest hangar addition. We shall see how Mr. Plastic (how I address my credit card) is feeling later this month. If he is feeling generous we shall pull the trigger on this purchase! Thank you for another great video, Saylors!
AWESOME MAIDEN, Nate!! I actually flew in THAT plane around 1967 from Tulsa, OK, to Hot Springs, AR and it was terrifying due to bad weather, etc. (Long story) but I survived!! Abby, REALLY nice DRONE shots!! Thanks Saylors soooo much for sharing your experience and honest thoughts!! 💟👍😘
Reminds me of back in the day when I flew the real Beech18s with my Dad. The original had spar issues as they got older so you never stress them with aerobatics without a full spar upgrade. The apex of the Beech 18 was the Volpar turbo prop conversion which did away with the tail wheel and added a nose gear.
My favorite aircraft of all time. When I was a kid in the 1950's and 1960's there was a small restaurant in our regional airport terminal and there was a hanger next to the terminal. In front of the hanger, just outside the restaurant window there was a B-25 Mitchell and a Twin Beechcraft. I don't recall them ever being moved for years. I fell in love with the Beechcraft.
I got into this hobby about a year ago and just got a fpv camera installed on my plane by taking apart an old drone, quality isnt the best but it was long awaited dream of mines, im saving up for a conscendo evolution because i like its flight style
I predict this will be one popular plane if you like their product line. Could be one of the last ones built without remote ID installed. Knowing horizon I won’t be surprised if this model gets “discontinued “ next year and makes an immediate come back with a new model number but with remote ID installed and $50 more expensive. Get them while they’re hot.
Holy macaroni!!!! A scale model dream!!! Put her on floats!!! I'm still a boat guy. I crash real planes much less as a flight instructor, and tailwheel instructor. 👍👍👍 I'd run that on floats as an rc boat down at the duck pond all day. Cool flying, Saylors!!
It's nice that Horizon Hobby is releasing another fun scale airplane. Now we just need some awesome scale helicopters in the 300 and up size. A fusion 480 size scale MD500 would be totally wicked!!
Great looking plane. Great detail. Man it sure has lit up UA-cam and my email this morning. Everyone has dropped this plane this morning. Great video. God bless.
I always like the way you explain the RCs and what you like and dont like. Listening is a joy. You and Abby work so well together on these videos which helps make them more enjoyable. Even if I am not interested in the RC I still like to listen to your videos. Please keep up the great work and new products. Thanks
Nicely done. The pilot you have heard about is Matt Younkin. I actually just saw him and his Twin Beech act last weekend in KC MO (and I saw him earlier this year in St. Louis). It's a great act. I bet you can find some UA-cam video's...and that Nat can duplicate it. I guess re-painting the E-flite bird to Matt's Red/Black is probably a difficult thing to do. God bless.
Tail draggers in SAFE will have elevator to pitch nose down. The tail is sitting on the ground, SAFE wants it level. If you flip SAFE off and on, on the ground with a tail dragger elevator should move between neutral (off) and nose down (on). Great job Nate, hope I can afford one come spring.
Very great advice! Yes I noticed the elevator did move more toward center with SAFE off, but still pointed down quite a bit. All worked out in the end though 😉👍😁😎⚓️
From an old control line flyer, you are correct with the box loop terminology. I can't fly anymore due to a back injury, wish I could afford the rc world. Prayers for Abby!
Thank you very much for the clarification! I honestly wasn’t sure and just named it that because it made sense regarding the box loop, haha! This time, my common sense “word making” worked out 😂👍😅⚓️
Very cool flight! The "Twin Beach" is a classic plane. The Royal Canadian Air Force flew a bunch of them during World War II, as will as afterwards, so it is technically a war bird. It's military desigantion was the C-45, and later, it became the CT-128 Expeditor in Canada. There are lots of examples of it on floats, and it was used extensively in the Canadian North as a bush plane...
Getting one for sure. Gonna get a extra wing. I've got a destroyed a 10 2. Plan to swap those props for a couple of inducted fans, swap the whole pod out. Might render flaps inop, oh well. Should be fun.
very nice! considerable but im running out of space in my hangar, ive bought a couple smaller planes through your links and those are nice cause they dont take up much space, thanks!
Thank you RC Sailors! I haven’t seen this plane from E-Flight before, and it is not in the local hobby shop yet, but I will be looking it up on their website. Thank you for posting these videos! Please have an excellent and awesome day! ☀️✨
Don’t you think it’s time for another Super Chipmunk? Art Scholl’s of course. They are always great flying planes. Or a big Polaris! Great videos. Thanks
I'd built the Super Chipmunk many years ago.Had installed a OS 60 nitro motor. If I remember correctly it was a Carl Goldberg kit.72inch wing span.It was a fantastic spot flyer.Would love to see a release of the Super Chipmunk using today's technology.
I’ve built two of the Goldberg Super Chipmunks. The first one back in the 80’s was lost to interference from an old Tower Hobbies radio. The second one is still going strong. Both with Super Tigres 60 glow and covered to look just like Art’s. Wonderful kits, and great flyers. I’ve never seen one of any kind that wasn’t a great flying plane.
Kelly Johnston (Skunk Works) was the man responsible for making the vertical stabilizers split and the elevator being the large single plane though I believe it may have been on the Electra. That being said the Beechcraft is a clearly influenced by the Electra. The change was made to improve lateral control in particular if an engine were to fail. The original design had a traditional tail plane; however, this revised version made it on to one of Kelly's later more famous design the P-38 Lightning.
Is it me, or have you been working on your landings. That touch of power makes all the difference, very scale looking instead of dropping in a floater. 👍That is a gorgous looking plane. 👍
Hmm... I know that in the TV show "The A-team" Murdock flew a Beach C18S. As soon as I saw this airplane I thought of that one as they are very similar in design.
You need to reenact the scene in "It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World" when the twin Beech flies through the Coca-Cola billboard! LOL! (BTW that was done for REAL in the movie!)
Matt Younkin is the pilot of this tricked out Twin Beech 18 aircraft you are likely thinking about. He is actually performing in my town this weekend (Knoxville, TN 9/10-11/22). The Smoky Mountain airshow is free (parking is not), so come on down! He is a BIG RC plane guy as well so for sure, reach out to him!
A Beech 18! Skydive San Marcos use to fly one of those back in the 90's, sure had a lot of fun jumping the thing but it was a slow climb to altitude. Having an RC version would be pretty cool.
It's beautiful, exelent flying mate. Horizon always make a decent plane ,I'm selling all mine just because there's no where left to fly . The micros are my favorite now or I'd buy this in a heartbeat. Very beautiful plane . Lucky we have 40 boats , it never snows in Melbourne. Lol .
Just ordered the umx Pitts off your video link. The beechcraft in this video will be next. Will be getting it for Xmas. Thanks for The great videos and hope you and Abby are doing well. Give Abby some extra wellness she needs it right now. 🙂

Awesome RC plane. So scale. This takes me back to the scene in James Bond film Octopussy where the guy's hanging off the roof of a blue and white Beechcraft and they're trying to shake him off. Great movie for planes. Also had the little mini jet that he flies through the hangar! See if you can recreate these scenes in miniature! 🤩

I don't think I have seen Mr. Saylor more excited ...it must be a special craft
Hopefully they'll make some other beautiful Beechcraft models, like the Staggerwing!

I love those golden aviation planes. I hope they do something like the Spirit of St Louis or some other golden aviation plane.
That is a an amazing looking Airplane. A huge Thank you goes out for you and Abby.. 🛩️
Another great job Saylor review, wow, this is a beautiful scale vintage aircraft ❤️
I love that the drone follow footage is back!!! I always liked when you did that.
I'm going to buy this, it'll be fun to hang in the hanger with the others I have. Thanks for posting the video Saylors!!
That seems like a vary smooth plane to fly. That was neat to watch.
That’s a great word to describe flying this plane! Smooth 👍😎⚓️
They even have the scale spar strap on the bottom of the wing. So, so cool. 3 cell for me. The lighter the better. She is a real floater too!!
I predict this will be one popular plane if you like their product line. Could be one of the last ones built without remote ID installed. Knowing horizon I won’t be surprised if this model gets “discontinued “ next year and makes an immediate come back with a new model number but with remote ID installed and $50 more expensive. There is a LOT of misinformation going on about this topic…

That's gorgeous. The retracts are a seriously nice touch.

Really loving y’all’s reviews. Always super informative but entertaining 👍❤️
Thanks a lot James! I spent some extra time on this one, just because I absolutely love this plane. Your compliment really means a lot to me! 👍😁😎⚓️
My favorite beach craft ever
i love the look of that airplane! its pretty scale looking too
Really great looking plane that just so happens to also fly extremely well! Thanks a lot for tuning in 👍😁😎⚓️
Great looking plane in the air. Especially the chase plane video. Great job to whoever that pilot was also.
Beautiful plane, and I like the rad scale bits
This is a beautiful plane guys 🤌🏾 the way it flies is so smooth and responsive....dang it nate!!!!😁 now I have to get this one lol ✌🏾
Great looking plane. Great detail. Man it sure has lit up UA-cam and my email this morning. Everyone has dropped this plane this morning. Great video. God bless.
Finally saw one of these fly so stable so beautiful in the air and surprisingly easy to maintain orientation. It is on my wish list down the road.

What a great job E flight did of this iconic twin .

Wow that’s a great looking vintage plane. Great maiden 👍🏼

Beautiful plane! One of the best of this year imo.
Good to see some chase footage again; guess the circumstances weren't all that great.

Great second landing! That plane looks SWEET! It reminds me of the one from Tailspin if anyone remembers that show.
Beautiful aircraft and great job with your review ❤️

NIIICE 👍🏻 Love it 👍🏻
Nice flying Nate 🔥👍🏻✌️
Abby and Nate y'all rock! Love the channel and content! I'm here for the algorithm! Peace
That plane is awesome!!
Cue Smugglers blues on Miami Vice! Maybe different plane but close enough! 😎
Oh wow! That’s a beauty!
That invented flat spin is just around the corner !!
This is awesome always wanted one glad I found your videos so I can watch how cool they are
Nice D18, looks wrong flying it upside down but that was wonderful!
Haha, I couldn’t resist!! Just had to see what it was capable of 👍😎 This is a blast to fly! 😁⚓️

@@jonoedwards4195 you too brother
Hey I love the timber x line up lol 😂 awesome plane great review as always
Beautiful aircraft… 🤩 Love the classic looks & also that the props are contra-rotating. 😵💫👍
Counter-rotating. Contra is when both are on the same axis like the TU-95
@@theinvisiblepiano5369 Thank you for that. I always appreciate being accurately corrected, so long as it’s done politely & I learn something new. 😎🤝😊
A Beech 18! Skydive San Marcos use to fly one of those back in the 90's, sure had a lot of fun jumping the thing but it was a slow climb to altitude. Having an RC version would be pretty cool.
Look up Matt Younkin. He does an air show performance with a Beech 18. That would be a great color scheme for this model.
Great review! Great looking plane!
Thank you very much!! 👍😁😎⚓️
Ordered with your link. I don't normally like this style plane ... but this just looks awesome.
To each his own, but I'd love a B-25 Mitchell if I were to get a multi engine plane
Now thats some fantastic flying.
Oh yeah BEAUTIFUL ANOTHER BEAUTIFUL LEAF 🍃
That’s an awesome plane!! 😎
Awesome airplane and enjoying watching too 😎 ❤it and looks great in the air too 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍😃😃😎❤ AWESOME VIDEO Nate and Abby sweet WOW I LOVE IT

@@thefreediverjohn no mate Australia. Stupid government keeps jamming people in without infrastructure. Can still fly Micro but nothing bigger.
Beautiful 👏 I definitely share your excitement 😊 Such a cool aircraft

Ooooooooh nice! Me want one!
Matt Younkin does aerobatics in a stock twin beech. Pretty impressive. His Dad and himself used rc to learn aerobatics.
just seen him fly at Battle Creek MI airshow back in July. It was easily my favorite part of the airshow and that's saying something because the Thunderbirds and 4 F-35s were there but in my opinion Mr. Younkin was the best!! The sound of his plane was just AWESOME!!!!
