    I am absolutely blown away!
    how the hell does that looks so easy?
    I have paid hundreds and hundreds of pounds to have my brakes done over and over again and it's that easy to do the job??? wtaf.

      I replaced my rear brake discs and pads last weekend. It's real easy.

    If you grease the threads on the wheel lugs, you loose friction between the threads to keep the lugs tight. Wire brush the lugs drill mounted steel wire wheel to clean the threads then apply grease to the lug shoulder where they touch the wheel. Ideally the caliper pins would benefit with thread lock applied to the threads.
    If the caliper and carrier have rust blisters, the can be removed by light tapping with a chipping hammer.

    Don't grease the wheel bolts!!! Also use a special tool to reset the piston, don't use a screwdriver!!!

    I can't get my rotor off without taking away the "caliper holder" or whatever it's called. It's in the way...

      You have higher spec brakes - probably a TDI?

      @@john-bjorn That would make sense, it has the 288mm or 312mm discs. This video is for the 280mm or smaller. Not a problem though, just 2 18mm bolts for the calliper carrier.
